Haven’t played a single second of it but have given it a 10, as it’s rare to get games this full of content and screaming top quality in the AAA space.
Really looking forward to this game, I’m gonna use Naoe for almost everything due to her fluid movement, but for boss fights and specific side quests I’ll definitely be using Yasuke.
Always great to see new Developers find their footing and thrive in this ever unpredictable industry.
Here’s to more success for the team, Stellar Blade was a really solid foundation, a sequel that improves upon it’s narrative issues could be insanely good.
This sucks balls but its moments like this where I'm grateful for the consoles I own and the backlog i possess, have been able to finish Indiana Jones and The Great Circle on the Series X during this network shutdown, what a bloody great game it was!
@JorutoHayabusa Exactly man, I do think Ubi dropped the ball on some inaccuracies that they apologised for, but once they apologise and make up for that issue, that should be the end of it.
Only grifters or those misinformed still are fighting this nonsensical social media war.
As someone who got the platinum for Veilguard, it’s a pretty damn fun time, albeit flawed in some areas, but the majority of dialogue and story is actually handled far better than any critic online has made it out to be.
The combat is really damn refined and polished, there’s actually some good choices for a western AAA rpg, and the exploration is top notch.
There’s some cringey dialogue but that’s the same for any Young Adult themed material these days.
It’s no DA Origins, but if you don’t go in expecting it to be, you’ll most likely come away with a positive impression.
I wish the game director well in her new journey (she left BioWare for a new role not because of any failure the game had faced, this is very normal for people who are in such lengthy AAA development).
Some people are sadly already being weird in the comments but it’s the internet in 2025 so it’s gonna happen.
@AK4tywill And then reviewed and continued under Hermen, and allowed to balloon to the point where cancellation was better than releasing what they’d spent 4 years working on most likely.
@Ravix I’m in the same boat, glad it’s been delayed as have time to play MHW, Avowed and indeed KCDII!
But yeah even Mirage sold like 5-7m copies, this series prints money, Ubisoft are simply ensuring it’s in a perfect position to make the most money possible, more eyes on it, means more marketing etc.
Personally the delay is a smart move, the game is looking better with every new look, ride the momentum into a month that isn’t stacked with MH Wilds and Avowed.
@nessisonett bit of an overreaction with the opening line there, the delay screams of moving the date to simply avoid the busy month, especially given this is a heavily important moment for Ubisoft sales wise, this needs a clear schedule.
@Vovander not bad news though, February is an insanely stacked month; and it just ensures the experience is polished to a higher extent, this is only a good thing for both Ubisoft, the devs and the customers.
@ChrisDeku oh don’t get me wrong there’s a lot of variables in motion to get things from factory to shelf, but this has been a constant, even in the non holiday months.
Honestly at this rate I can see why some are of the belief that this is a deliberate strategy from Sony.
There is no way that Sony with all their manufacturers and distributors, can't get these out on a more consistent basis, same goes for the Dualsense Edge stick modules.
They've rode the PR train by "offering options" only to ensure those options are never readily available, forcing players down a far more expensive path, to only Sony's benefit.
@Northern_munkey very much in the same boat pal, I come to these sites to get away from political/social discourse, and now it’s seemingly being thrust onto the front page every week as it brings in the traction/ad revenue for PushSquare.
If they didn’t make that whole song and dance about the new years promise and being different I wouldn’t be as disappointed but my god they didn’t even last a week.
People here and on other social media expecting WAYYYY too much from the bottom tier for PS Plus, this is completely fine, nothing special, nothing terrible.
If I saw this same category for last year, I’d have voted for Spider-Man 2, sorry just had to air frustrations; probably the biggest disappointment of this generation.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Sony's State of Play for February 2025?
Also absolutely hilarious that they’re selling an “enhanced photo mode” as one of the main reasons to buy ANOTHER remaster.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Sony's State of Play for February 2025?
Really really poor, 40 mins with no more than maybe 5 good showings.
Not even a tease of anything first party other than the Returnal spin off thing is poor

Re: New Death Stranding 2 Updates and Details Coming Next Month
It’ll still likely be at SOP with a release date, then the full on details at this event.

@jedinite SmashJT is not a reliable insider lmao, and his petulant reaction to JeffGrubb on Twitter has just confirmed him being an utter manchild.

7.5/10 for Veilguard imo, maybe even an 8.
Re: Sony Cancels Bluepoint, Bend Studio PS5 Games, One Being a Live-Service God of War Title
HERMEN OUT NOW, then reappoint Jim and sack him again.
How Sony have fumbled this generation so far baffles me.

@AK4tywill And then reviewed and continued under Hermen, and allowed to balloon to the point where cancellation was better than releasing what they’d spent 4 years working on most likely.
So I’d say he’s done a far worse job.
Re: Sony Cancels Bluepoint, Bend Studio PS5 Games, One Being a Live-Service God of War Title
Hermen Hulst makes Jim Ryan look like the messiah holy hell….

@Coffeeglitch I don’t know.. the gameplay snippets being shared in recent weeks are looking FAR better.

Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Delayed Again, Now Out 20th March
@Vovander shareholders won’t care if the game sells anywhere close to Valhalla (which it likely will)

Hilarious that PushSquare said in their new years post they’d focus less on sensationalism, only to do this not even 3 days in….

Re: PS Plus Essential Games for January 2025 Announced
@riceNpea there’s never a point to crying and insulting games you don’t like when they’re literally a free bonus for a paid tier of Online.
If he was criticising paying for online I’d understand, but then to bring PC warring talk into it, just shown me his immaturity, simple as really.
Re: Game of the Year: #1 - Astro Bot
@Flaming_Kaiser Really does man, just shows that hyper realistic fidelity will never ever top ingenuity within gameplay design and charm.
Re: PS Plus Essential Games for January 2025 Announced
@guestwork Stop being such an immature child, calling video games you don’t like “aids” in 2025 my god get a life my man 😭
It’s the bottom tier of PS online, you’re not gonna be getting Stellar Blade, Astro Bot or Elden Ring level drops for most of the year if not ever.
That’s what PS Premium is for.
Re: PS Plus Essential Games for January 2025 Announced
People here and on other social media expecting WAYYYY too much from the bottom tier for PS Plus, this is completely fine, nothing special, nothing terrible.
Two great games, and 1 average one.
Re: Game of the Year: #1 - Astro Bot
A real shining light within a heavily disappointing generation for PlayStation first party titles.
Rebirth was my GOTY but Astro was a close second, the most unbridled joy I’d experienced in a game since Mario Galaxy 2.

Re: Game of the Year: Best PS5 Open World Game of 2024
Rise Of The Ronin here over FF7 Rebirth is laughable given they’re both zoned off open worlds.
