I'm interested in a large discount for Star Wars Outlaws and Sniper Elite Resistance. I really enjoyed Sniper Elite 5, as it never gets old popping heads and dismantling body parts. The A.I. is constantly improving and it's just a fun time for me. If the discounts will make the games $20 or less, count me in
The days of stacking ps subscriptions are out. But you can always buy $100 psn cards at Costco for $90 & then purchase the subscription during Black Friday when all the subscriptions are 25% off. If your subscription isn't
timed out, you can consider buying monthly until the Black Friday sale. It'll work out because you can cancel your subscription at any time.
Great game thus far, as I'm an hour or so in. I enjoy the story from the fox's perspective. It shows how wreckless human beings are to the environment and the many dangers we invoke on animals. I'm playing on the ps5 and the graphics are nice. As a PSN game, I'm glad it was included in our monthly games and I cannot wait to see how Endling ends.
I'm definitely planning on buying both new and used ps5 games and also using my backwards compatible ps4 game collection on my ps5. I currently use a combination of mostly physical discs and some digital games. I am old school, as I love the physical discs.
The problem is that there's still no ps5s available for me to buy and I'm not going to buy one from a scalper.
It's a decent month with Plague's Tale for PS5, although I already own it on the PS4. It's a good game but not comparable to Last Of Us as someone stated. I am more into campaigns and don't like online shooters so I held off on Call of Duty Black Ops 4 so this works well for me. I've been interested in WWE2k20 so I'm willing to give Battlegrounds a try but it'll probably not receive a lot of playing time, as meta ratings show a lot of missteps. Again an overall decent month and 2 games I don't own which is always a plus.
I'm in the US and ps5 continues to be elusive. I'd believe the scalpers with the bots have perfected the art of snatching up all the units. By the time I am able to buy one, I'll probably have a choice at buying the better 2nd generation version or a bundled deal during Xmas. I'm very interested in getting one but definitely not going to lose sleep or overpay a scalper. I've got over 300 games on my Ps4 pro.
Since its the best Dynasty Warriors in the series, the patch to run better on PS5 is welcomed, although I'm still trying to purchase a PS5 . I don't mind playing older games as long as they're good.
A great open world action fighting game that I picked up on sale. If you've missed this during the PS3 days like I did, It's worth picking up, as it's a blast. I'd say it'sa cross between a Yakuza game and its open world has been compared to grand theft auto and others. As you move through Hong Kong, you'll enjoy the surroundings, which is full of vendors and hoodlums you'll fight along the way. With this unsupported on PS5, you'll need to have a PS4 console. I play it on the Pro and it fine, although it tops out at 30 fps. On the bright side, you get all the dlc. It's a great game that doesn't require too much of a time commitment as you can jump in for 15 minutes and complete side quests.
@JohnKarnes I'm similar in thought to many of your comments. I, too, own many physical copies.of PS4 games (several hundred) and I'm always hoping PSN doesn't give out games I have on physical discs but over the last several years, I sell back discs to Gamestop and on Craigslist when PSN provides games I already own and it's been working out great for me, which is why I also limit digital purchases of newer games.
However, the last several months including the Play at Home have been nice offerings by the tech giant. IMO It's another great month. Days Gone is a great game with nice graphics and gameplay. Oddworld is going into the library for later when I buy a 2ng generation PS5, as the 1st Gen always is lackluster. And since I have enjoyed the Sniper Elite games, Zombie Army should be fun.
I'd like to see Marvel Avengers, which I haven't played since the demo. Also, maybe an indie game such as Hellblade or something serendipitous that'll hip me to something that I'd not discover otherwise. Then there's the Dark Souls like Ashen, which would be nice too. And I still haven't tried Yakuza Kiwami 2 But as most have already started, I'm not expecting much with all the Stay at Home games tomorrow and Oddworld for ps5 owners already announced.
I reluctantly picked up the game although I had read about all the bugs and crashes. Much to my surprise, the game has an incredible story, creative futuristic things (weapons, environment, people), and did not crash at all, since I've been playing for 10 hours or more on my PS4 Pro. I think some critics have exaggerated the amount of issues the game allegedly had but I've not experienced it. Also once you change the settings these graphics aren't that bad either.
This game will always suffer from being overhyped from out the gate but it's truly a nice deep game. While not close to being a classic I'd rank it an out of 10 The game is solid (no one near being on a flop level such as Fallout 76 and Anthem) and I have over 300 games (so my tastes in games comes with having tried many, many games) but I'm happy to have picked this up and I definitely recommend you try it before you knock it, as did I and add this to your collection for $25 or less, which is what I paid for it. There's a leveling system which takes time to build your character and acquire some powerful weapons, which many will not have the patience or attention span to do. The shootouts and action is rewarding and engaging. The music intensifies the experience at times, although it someones loops way too long.
In short, don't listen to the naysayers but try the games yourself. Although not a comprehensive fix of all so-called glitches, the patch is welcomed and it's nice to know that this game will continue to receive support for years to come.
I've been trying to beat Yatsu No Kami for several tries now with frustrating lack of success. I'll try the tips from the above article and report back later, hopefully I finally defeat this boss.
@ShowUp2ShutDown Thank you for this reminder list. I'll say it'll be nice to have the Crew 2, UFC 3, and Hellblade. That or any Indy games such as Subnautica.
Some others in this post have made unrealistic suggestions, as Sony has to pay for any free psn games and it'll likely push for games that are not selling many copies anymore, but then again Control Ultimate Edition last month was pretty awesome and no one had predicted it.
It's good news to know that the PS5 can use my existing 8 the external Seagate Expansion harddrive, since i have over 150 games. Sony needs to improve the ps5 to allow external hard drives for its games as it expands. I cannot imagine the PS5 not being able to save its own games. The reason most of us buy external hard drives is so we don't need to constantly erase and download the games we already own.
This FAQ of whether PS Plus subscribers Will be able to download PS5 games without owning a PS5 and vice versa, those owning a PS5 can still download PS4 games was poorly answered in the article. The simple answer is ^yes." But you'll need to sign in to your Playstation account to claim your PS5 games by adding them to your library and purchasing it like all the other games. Some have commented that the price may rise with psn providing ps5 titles to their lineup whereas others continue to question why anyone uses the word "free" to describe the monthly games provided with their psn subscription. I thank Microsoft and it's Xbox and Gamepass subscriptions as the impetus to having Sony step up the quality of its offerings and for creating a curated library of 18 games to play with your PS5. Yes the service is not free and thus you pay for the games as a part of the service. However a better way to perceive the subscription is whether or not the value (cost of monthly and yearly subscription) are worth paying for the monthly games (in addition to the discounts in the store and multi-play online). As many often state in the comments, it's not difficult to find the PSN subscription discounted, especially during the holiday season, which is why I've stacked my subscription for 5 years, thus creating the best bang for your buck. I'm undoubtedly a satisfied consumer and I appreciate opinions of those who are not, as this may help Sony make better decisions for us all.
For PS5 purchasers, it's been reported that PS Plus is providing a library of free game classics such as Persona 5 and others. Is this going to extend to all PSN subscribers? XBOX improved its Gamepass by teaming up with EA in its offerings. PSN is a great value if you purchase ir on sale and don't own the monthly games. However with hard copy discs, when you get a duplicate digital game all you have to do is trade it in to Gamestop or sell games on Craigslist. PSN may begin offering both PS5 and PS4 games in a year or so. I'm looking forward to that.
Thanks Microsoft for making Sony rethink their expensive new ps5. The CEO points to value over price which I interpret as a ps5 being pricey, probably $600 and $400 for all digital. The PS3 flopped when Sony did this and they eventually brought down the price. If this happens, I'll surely wait. Sorry Microsoft many of us gamers may not be enticed by Gamepass and a lower price because I have many PS4 games andx a PSN subscription for the next 4 years. On the other hand, some hardcore gamers like to have multiple consoles (switch, ps4, Microsoft), which may be their target audience here. Also, someone mentioned parents buying their kids consoles may go with lower price and ease of a subscription like Gamepass. Sony step up your game and make the ps5 affordable. Thx
The main reason why this is bad is because Playstation has chosen not to enhance all of its games (ps4) for the PS5 which is forcing all to buy the PS5 version of games to get the enhanced graphics. In contrast Xbox is allowing any discs to have it enhanced with their new system. Playstation needs to feel the heat of its competitors in order to offer a better product. The Control 505 game is consistent which what Sony is planning so not much a loss there. Sony also is forcing everyone to buy PS5 controllers for its games whereas Xbox will make all old controllers compatible with its new system. So don't fault 505 games but look at overall plans of new releases from the competitors and let's all demand more bang for buck.
We can hope for one good game such as Gran Turismo Sport, Assasin's Creed Ezio Collection, Hellblade, Tekken 7, the Last Guardian or Dark Souls Remastered and one mediocre or older game such as Darksiders Remastered, the Evil Within, Tropico or an independent game that not many have heard of that turns out to be pretty decent.
Since it's the same team that brought the Yakuza series, I got this game after enjoying many games in the Yakuza series, such as Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Yakuza 6. I was a bit weary to see if Judgment would actually differentiate itself enough. The verdict: the fighting system is similar which is a good thing. The detective protagonist and story allows enough variation to deserve checking out. Fans of Yakuza games won't be disappointed. The game is worth the sale price.
@Netret0120 Both games are huge, about 100gb but all you have to do is buy an 8 TB external hard drive. I have a Seagate and I have over 200 games with still more space.
As a long time PSN subscriber I look forward to the announcement of each month's games and I find it unusual that there's no official announcement yet. WWII is and awesome game with a good campaign and BF2 has some updates that make this a game worth checking out. To clarify, the games are included in the price of a PSN subscription so the games are not free. They are also not yours to keep so you're renting them until your sub ends. And the games are not $2.50 each because many subscribers already have half of the games or will not download them. Also not everyone plays multiplayer online. However many games, such as Ubisoft, require an online connection so they can track gamers with data collection.
As a paying subscriber, you definitely have a right to complain about the product, especially if many feel the product has gotten worse (ps3 and vita). There's competition with Xbox and it provides 3 games per month for their subscribers. This month is not bad, but also not good.
This is a great game. The campaign rocks especially sone COD Black Ops 4 lacks one. Of course many like myself already own this. I'm keeping my fingers crossed to not own the 2nd PSN game

I'm a bit surprised everyone wants a less than $5 game the Order 1776. Please just buy this when it's on sale which is frequently.
