Not going to be playing much for the next 2 weeks the snooker is on. I did start getting into elden ring the last few days though, played it after launch couldnt really get into it, didnt get why everyone was raving about it i thought it was really bland, and thought the map was small. How wrong i was put it back on the other day and everything clicked, the map is bloody huge lol, ive defeated two of the main bosses so far and a few of the optional ones. Played about 10hrs yesterday couldnt put it down 😃 so glad i gave it another chance, im about level 41 so far and loving just getting lost in it, just gutted the snooker has started otherwise i wpuld be on it now. Will play a few hrs here and there when i can just to keep me fresh and ready to go once the snooker finishes lol. Definetaly my game of year so far. Going to have to get back to horizon once im dond with elddn ring, so much to play at thd moment 😁

Well i still havent finished horizon yet got about 25hrs in and stopped playing, i did this wigh the first one to. Then bought elden ring played a bit but couldnt get into it, so bought gt7 loved it. If thiz had come up 2 days ago i would have said gt7.

But it has to be elden ring for me put it back on few days ago and everything just clicked have done two of the main bosses and a few optional ones including that tree senitel. Played for about 11hrs yesterday couldnt put it down. In the start i just thought it was bland and i thought the map was only limegrave lol. Unlocked a few new areas now and loving it currently level 41 so going through nicley. Great game. It might change when i get back to horizon and finish it but at the moment elden ring.

Bravo, about time it picked up best game in one of the awards. Especially with the new update. It was definetaly my game of year last year fantastic enjoyed every minute of it, and enjoying it again now with the new update

@AK4tywill just tried that and worked for me, thanks. My plus runs out this week, so this was a great thing for me. Dont play online much so can easily go a few months without it.

Oh yes back on returnal, such a great game and having not played it for a while after getting the plat forgot how amazing it was.

@rjejr ah man just played about an hour managed ro get to the 2nd level which is pretty good for first time in playing for ages, forgot how truly amazing this game is. Going to get back on it proper tomorrow night and get to level 7 (think its 7 levels anyway lol. Great free update. Might give the online co op 😉 a go at some point too help some ppl who are stuck out.

9/10 for me solid great racing game, great dualsense features. Knocked 1 of for always online other than that great game.

@rjejr haha im the same as you when i read co-op my mind automatically goes to couch coop like the good old days.

I downloaded returnal again yesterday so im ready to give it another go tonight hopefully the trophies arent too hard so i can keep it at 100% although not too bothered as i still have the plat and that was hard work. Really looking forward to getting back into it, was my game of the year last year brilliant game.

@Loftimus exactly mate this whole mtx is blown way out of proportion, the way people are talking you have yo buy credits in order to continue with the game its ridiculos. I have played gt since the first and this is exactly what you had to do grind to get better cars actually play the game lol.

I do agree that the always online is stupid and shouldnt be there. Its a fantastic game really enjoying it and im same as you i have loads of cars and have upgraded a few of them and still have half a mill in credits and havent even finished the main game yet.

Will probably pick it up at somepoint, but at the moment just have too much things to play, and returnal update tomorrow, so may get it over summer quiet time or black friday sale.

Yea the haptics are great on it, and the triggers too when they tighten in certain situations when going around corners. Such a beatuy of a game i usually skip replays and things but on this been watching loads of them. Great game.

Gt has always been about the grind to be honest. I have played lot of this so far and have over 30 cars so far, never once have i been short on money or feel the need to buy credits. I enjoy the game and grinding in gt has always bedn a thing and think thats why i enjoy it, gives you something to work towards, unlike forza which just throws all the good cars at you and makes the game feek boring after a while still a fantastic game but doesnt feel like you are working towards anything.

Cant wait to get back to this, so many things to play at the moment its crazy, great time to be a gamer

Definetely going to pick up the sp for the price. I enjoyed the story and world and 60fps always a bonus. Probably wont play it for a bit but better to get it now before i forgett and it goes up in price.

Ive actually fallen off horizon for now did the same with the first one played a decent amount and stopped for few months and started over. Guess i will do the same again its weird because its a great game but just hooked on gt7 at the moment, and just bought elden ring but only played a bit oc that. Hopefully by the time i get back to horizon it will be running great and most bugs gone, only had a few myself.

What a great game this is. Played it first time solo. But the 2nd time i played with a random what a great experience it was.

Mostly gt7 and horizon for me this weekend, do want to get elden ring but i need to at least finish horizon first. Enjoying both of these so far and from wgat ive heard elden ring is amazing so cant wit to give it a go in a month or so.

Oh going to have to reinstall this and get back to grips with it, was definetaly my game of year last year. Going to be another good challenge doing the acension. Hopefully be some new trophies for this

@Lavalera yea that is true, hopefully they are just waiting till summer to do the big announcements. And it does release this year, but i just have a feeling its going to be pushed to next year hopefully im wrong though.

@themightyant oh yea starfield, i honestly forgot about that, i don't think it will release this year we havent seen any gameplay footage of it yet and havent heard anything since last year, hopefully it does release this year though.

Gt7for me, currently doing license a and trying to get gold on the A9 its bloody hard got to knock off 200th second been trying for an hour nearly lol. Great game though loving it

Been playing it all day and im really loving it so far, the graphics are brillant. Back to it now lol.

@AstraeaV i actually had to google the 2nd one you mentioned lol, if it was just that i would have said yea perfect to get you through the game, but that and the whiskey would be an early night for me these days, although im typing this now and been seshing since 6pm and will be paying for this for the next few days lol. If it was 20yrs ago (older than your whiskey lol) i would probably be doing the same. Anyway hope you have a good time 😉.
From what im reading about the game so far from this page its a bit of a mixed response from the players, still going to give it a go after finish horizon, but deep into that atm and can only concentrate on one game at a time. Also there should definetaly be an option in that poll for "played these games before but never manage to finish them lol" i always get pretty far and either just stop playing for another game or get totally stuck like in sekiro against one of the bosses cant remember his name he was on one of ghe rooftops. I tried for hours but just no progress, not likd the ape where you thought i can do this just get better. Soz for the rambling im a bit f****d atm and your post piqued my interest most lol. Anyway hope you have a blast with the game and other stuff 😜.

Looking forward to playing this, going to finish horizon first, then on to this, then pick up elden ring afterwards or something to play along with when the inevitable rage quit rears its head lol.

@jmads i would actually disagree with you on that, i never read the comics and not seen any of the movies, and i really enjoyed the game. Picked it up on sale over xmas and loved it. Thought the story was good.

@CrushALL i think watching someone play something and playing it yourself is different though. Also out of curiosity, you said that you started dl2 and stopped to play hfw and plan on stopping that when elden ring drops, why wouldnt you finish dl2 and then get hfw or elden ring once you finished one game, as by the time you are done with dl2 hfw or elden ring will probably be cheaper, not a critisism just curious.

Horizon all weekendfor me, after a slow start starting to enjoy it now, fhe first few hrs it didnt click with me but today something clicked, its weird because i loved the first one and ghis is more of the same with better gear and graphics.

@Medic_Alert im exactlly the same as you at the moment everything feels forced/like a chore im only about 5hrs in, but its not grabbing md as the first, hopefully its just one of those days where i feel like im not in the mood, ghere have been a few moments where i feel like yes this is going to be brilliant and then meh, maybe its just the hype and just need to reign in my expectations. Its a good game but so far not as good as the first.

@Alfieburns yea its a bit stupid making you wait to be able to download the ps5 version. Also it would have been better if they just put the ps5 and 4 versions for the same price save all this buy ps4 for cheaper and get ps5 version free, the only people who will buy the ps5 version are those who are unaware or want the ps5 box its just feels a bit stupid to me. But they do make great games so thats the main thing lol.

@Alfieburns im not 100% sure but im sure i read somewhere that if you buy the ps4 version you have to wait until midnight to be able to download the ps5 version.

Mine arrived this morning 😁 already installed it, just got to wait to finish work now, roll on 5pm. Can't wait now, working from home today and so tempted to put it on but have a meeting at 3pm so don't want to play a bit and have to go to merting lol. And got friday anx monday off so going to havr a good session for the next few days

Well that was a good article for a recap. And i just passed the door to make a coffee and saw a package from amazon and it was horizon 😁. So will be playing that tonight and have tomorrow and monday off too. I've popped the disc in to install now so will be ready for a good session. About 5pm.

@get2sammyb @RubyCarbuncle i think the problem is thst parents these days grew up with ps1 or 2 mega drive etc, so they have no comprehension of the online community or how these predatory practice go on. I always tell my friends with kids who dont game anymore to not put there credit cards linked to the system, or about fifa fut etc and they are always amazed with the crap that goes on. I think if your a certain age i.e old lol you just view video games as you saw it in the day, gaming in the last 15 years has totally changed with dlc mtx etc, if you used to play ps1 etc you would just think pop in the game and play, i guess you could say its on the parents but i would say 90% probably have no clue about how gaming is now i speak to my bro who is a few years younger than me and with a kid of 2 and warn him already these are the kind of crap that goes on. As i said gaming in the last 15 ish years has changed dramatically

@Kidfunkadelic83 yea i would go with what @dellyrascal said and go for something like super mega baseball, its much easier to get into, i have played mlb before and i dont know the best teams etc and its more like a sim game, really hard to get to grips with, but SMB is good as its more accessible and easier to get to grips with. I have SMB 1 and 2 and enjoyed both of them.

@Kidfunkadelic83 haha, thats exactly what i said start of this gen, going to buy things i am going to play finish and move on,not doing so great atm, bought uncharted upgrade last week, just bought sifu and started another farm on stardew valley, not to mention the games i bought and either not in mood for them or didnt enjoy lol. I used to be really good before ps4 never had a backlog once dont know why i have started lol.

@Pusher2021 haha yea thats where i usually get my arse kicked. Yea i need to start paying better attention to the new moves, going to give it a good session over the weekend and try and get better. Its a good game though, enjoying what ive played so far.

Yep got it yesterday, its a good game but think its going to take a lot of trial and error before i get good at it. My only real problem with it it doesnt really tell you what to do just, think a decent tutorial would have helped. There is a place you can go to practice so might give that a try to try and get better.

Thats crazy, still haven't passed the 2nd area yet lol. But going to give it another try tonight, so hard getting used to the fighting.
