I'll take it, but if it were between a remake and the master chief collection. I would 100% take the master chief collection, and even if they went super greedy with it and split the collection up for separate releases of the trilogy. I'd still take that over a remake.

Even if the original developers were dragged back to remake it they wouldn't get it right. At least for me personally.

From critics sure but part 2 is not as popular. 4 might be your top but most would say 2 or 3. Both were Amy hennig stories.

Alot of ppl giving Neil way to much credit. When the best and games were lead and controlled by Bruce straley (Tlou) or Amy hennig (uncharted 1-3).
Uncharted 4 and the last of us 2 are the worst in both franchises.

Trailers for this never quite sold me on the game. I hope it does enough to keep the studio going so they may temp me with another ip.

@tameshiyaku @HappyGamerGirl the subscription to PlayStation plus is 1st and foremost for online service. Getting free games as a bonus perk is not a contribution to buying the games we get. If someone gets days gone through it that's great for player counts and perhaps keeping a game relevant in the minds of gamers. I amoung many who bought and supported the devs as directly as we can should get this benefit to the upgrade (not that I think the model for £10 upgrades is a good one). As for a 6 year old game being resold as a 50-60 quid game is also abit of a joke. £30 or so doesn't feel like as much of a kick in the teeth but this imo is far too late if this was released along side the pc release it might have made more sense.

If you didn't spend the money on it why should you get the upgrade path?

@Keyblade-Dan I used to love taking Sean bean up to dive rock and pushing him off and crouch walking down the mountain. Sean only has one speed and so would knock himself unconscious but the ragdoll physics would mangle him in hilarious ways. Only for him to stand up and do it to himself again.. The long winter nights certainly flew by between 2006-2009 lol.

@Northern_munkey it's very good indeed. Worth checking out. I got it as a Christmas present and it's in my favourite games of 2024. You can play in your own private server or online with pve and Pvp servers.

Got it today in the January sales and played a bit with my 5yr old and so far it's very good. Goty (over everything the industry put out this year) I'm not sure yet. the three games Ive been most invested in this year are helldivers 2, space marine 2 and V rising (not saying they are Goty material but they would be for my personal list). it being push square's Goty is completely predictable yet at the same time deserved. I've seen so much buzz when it came out and the industry needs these mascot style throw backs to plain fun and getting anyone involved.

Onimusha is my top dog then I'd say either mafia or witcher 4 (would have preferred my own character). Intergalactic just isn't doing it for me especially without gameplay. Ppl attacking and defending it knowing little to nothing about it is pretty entertaining though.

Druckman is nowhere near god level the big hitters from ND left. ND are/were amazing artists some of the best if not the best but it all will count for nothing if activists get in the way of what makes a game fun. Time will tell.

Didn't care to much for the first season in terms of how closely it followed the game, but it was decent as far as shows go.

Looks OK bad release window may be swallowed by bigger games I already feel like DD2 is gonna be popular with lots of buzz through YouTube and streamer's.

My favourite Ghost Recon is the first one hope it's somewhere close to that.

@jt887 that's fair im not even saying it's that bad just that the combat got stale quick for me. I preferred nioh but nioh also had its problems.
They are at least appearing to be try some new things here. So hopefully they break the mould they've been happy to recycle for a few years now.

I'm hoping it's good. Wo long was a bit of a let down.

Love the game don't love the recent patch but just more stuff to unlock and earn is always welcome.

I decided to wait to get this. No doubt it's a decent game but when I checked out the demo and the lod on lighting/shadows was at best 3ft from Cloud. Not to mention some textures being still just rough as hell I thought I'll hang on abit.

I'd assume the textures being upgraded though would bloat the games size fairly drastically. So with that a ps5 pro version wouldn't do all that much but maybe increase the resolution on performance mode to 1440p - 60fps maybe.

Helldivers 2 and tekken 8 are a majority of what I'm playing at the moment.

@AndyKazama definitely the map music alone is a good enough reason to want that port. For me gears 1, halo 1-2 & 3, Jade empire and Fable 1

Finished the demo and I will be getting this game however was alittle disappointed to be honest. Issues from the first game cropping up and I just don't think in 2024 with the budget this will of had and a £70 price tag that I should be seeing such poor textures and villagers appearing 20 feet in front of me. Gonna wait for a sale 100%

Was OK. A few red flags with Silent Hill 2 but it was just a combat trailer and SH2 never had riveting combat. Just hope it's decent because it's not going to live up to the original. Christ Konami couldn't even port/remaster the magic from the original so bloober have little hope to capture the lightning but I pray it's decent.

At least being first person it has a chance to breathe and win or lose based on its own merits.

Couldn't agree more well said. I thought avowed looks nice but the combat looked off to me. probably something I'd need to get in the hand before being to critical but that's most things I suppose.

@__jamiie were you impressed with the showcase? I wasn't blown away by anything but also didn't come away feeling like anything was terrible either. Strange to have Indiana Jones in first person with momentary bits in third. It did at least look good graphically.
