@REALAIS it appears they had access to it before the general public, obviously. Them confirming it seems to mean that Sony will officially reveal it pretty soon which matches what the leaks said, pretty exciting.
@Rich33 Let them live in their own deluded word
@Reeneman I'm holding off from playing it and avoiding spoilers like the plague. Cant wait to get the Pro and start enjoying it, especially with that game.
@BaldB3lper78 to be honest if you don’t have a keen eye for this it’s quite hard to see it on a phone or monitor. I was at a friend’s house and he was playing Returnal and Forbidden West on his Pro. Trust me, the difference is quite apparent once you see it on a big TV screen.
After watching DF’s video it was apparent that this is the new PSSR. 1080p, 60 fps but with ray tracing and the final image gives a clear 4K resolution. Based on everything, this would be either equal to FSR4, or between FSR4 and DLSS 4.5, which in itself is INSANE. This is a game changer, no two ways about it and it’s the final incentive I needed to jump the gun and buy the Pro. Lets see what the people laughing at the Pro have to say now.
Bridge of spirits was a fantastic game, and I have no doubt that the same will go for this one. Sony really needs to either invest in more smaller AA games like these to 1st party studios, or just contract outside studios like with Sons of Sparta.
After reading on Resetera, all of the leakers with a proven track record are saying the same (Jason Schreier and NatetheHate)
Jason: "It's not speculation, but sometimes topics come up on the show before I'm quite ready to publish a story about them. More to come soon."
Nate: "Sony is shifting their PC strategy, absolutely."
@ButterySmooth30FPS I mean, after all the moaning and crying they were doing as a result of having to create a Sony account which in itself was pretty simple, (every PC gamer I know has like 10 different useless accounts, but the Sony one was the problem) they can have a meltdown all they want.
Smart choice, keep single player games on PS consoles to incentivize ecosystem growth, put live service/multiplayer stuff where every audience can reach it.
Just goes to show the potential PS5 Pro has if developers leverage the power correctly, don't half-ass the port and push the machine all the way (looking at you Avowed)
Why Sony stopped including physical copies with their collectors editions is beyond me. You would expect to at least have that if you're paying so much money.
Right now it's obvious that she's saying what everybody wants to hear, and there's nothing wrong with that. But talk is cheap. The only thing we can do is wait and see if she lives up to her words.
@JoeNobody Don't understand your comment. We can all form opinions on things we don't have influence over. As you can see a lot of people cared that the studio got shut down. Despite them being a team of 70 people and not crafting an original title, they excelled at remastering and remaking good games in a short of amount of time. I care because I'd rather have remakes any day of the week over the live service garbage that is coming from a couple of studios.
@ButterySmooth30FPS I understand where you're coming from, but like I mentioned, other PS studios fell victim to Jimbo's live service push as well and still haven't released any projects. Even if it was a mistake on Bluepoint's side, does that mean that one mistake should mean all of them be shut down as well?
@PuppetMaster That's what I'm saying. Sony has one of the biggest portfolios right alongside Nintendo. So many franchises left to rot and whether people like it or not, the only way for these franchises to return is through remakes/remasters which Bluepoint were masters of. About the sales, Astro Bot (which is a fantastic game) also had relatively low sales compared to other blockbuster PS games and they won GOTY last year, so what does that tell us.
@ButterySmooth30FPS The reason they haven't made anything in 5 years is the braindead push for live service. From what was speculated, live service projects were made easiest to be greenlit so that's what the studio went with, so that would also be mismanagement from Sony. Also, how many PS studios haven't released a project in a long while? Should all of them be closed down and all of the people fired?
Look at Bluepoint's portfolio and talent prior to them being acquired by Playstation. They were porting games every 2-3 years, even shorter than that. They managed to create the Demon's Souls remake in 2 years time to coincide with the PS5 launch. Also they were put as a support studio for SSM for Ragnarok as well. Did all of them become smoothbrains after being acquired that they couldn't think up of a project?
@UltimateOtaku91 I guess sales is the only metric that should matter, not the quality of the projects or the talent behind the studios right? In that case let's all play Call of Duty and Roblox.

Re: Another Massive Space Marine 2 Patch Deploys on PS5, Packing a New Class, Mission, and More
With the success of Space Marine 2, here's hoping to more with Space Marine 3 and more importantly, Dawn of War 4.

Re: New Saros PS5 Gameplay Footage Is Brief But Cool as Heck
Fantastic looking game. Returnal is still one of the most amazing and unique experiences I've had this gen.

Re: If This Marathon Trailer Doesn't Get You Hyped for the PS5 FPS, Nothing Will
What a waste of $3.6 billion. Sony have lost their way this generation.

@ButterySmooth30FPS You're definitely right about the Hulst part. I don't think major decisions like these are made by one person only.
