The support for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has been nothing short of outstanding, and so it's mad to think that the game's latest update is perhaps one of its most substantial to date.
Patch 12.0 is out now on PS5, and it brings a bunch of new features to the already robust third-person action-shooter.
The headline act has to be the introduction of the Techmarine as a brand new playable class. This machine-boosted soldier sounds like a, er, technical fighter, utilising autonomous weaponry in order to lock down multiple foes at once.
The new class also comes with a new weapon, the brutal Omnissian Axe, and you can take both for a spin in a new PvE mission dubbed 'Disruption'. It sees your squad take on a huge swarm of Tyranids, before tackling heretics who have invaded the heart of a Hive City.

On top of all that, a slew of smaller additions and adjustments have been detailed. For starters, you can now change your Space Marine's face and voice regardless of class, across both PvE and PvP.
A bunch of perks and weapons have been rebalanced, too.
You can find the full patch notes on the game's official forums. We'd suggest making yourself comfortable before you start reading, because they're bloody huge.
