I pay for ps plus mostly for the cloud saving and the occasional good monthly game. Don't care to play online so this is a non issue for me

@Cry_Zero it's a lot easier to say "yes, you can use our IP" and make a bunch of money from that than it is to make an entirely new game. The first one didn't even do that well to warrant a sequel.

Good, I'll always root for something owned by Saudi Arabia to fail

Super disappointed it's not the trilogy

I'm out because of the lack of quests. I know many people love the immersion, but I much prefer having a quest log telling me where to go. It was the only negative I had against Elden Ring as well

@Chaosbros I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Honestly I feel like every time a new Civ games come out, everyone complains it's not like the last one. I wasn't sold on the Civ switching and ages at first, but it's grown on me after a few games.
The UI is poorly designed, no getting around that. Some things are hard to find and see. But that hasn't hindered my enjoyment too much. It's the #1 thing the devs have said they are working on fixing.
Overall I'd say it absolutely worth the money. If you like Civ, you're still gonna like this and play for hundreds of hours. But like literally any other game release, you can wait X months and get a better version for cheaper. I obviously didn't feel like waiting lol

I played Civ 7 all day. Outage had zero effect on me. Singler player games FTW

I'm so excited to see it doing well. I've been playing this franchise for over 20 years, and for me this may just be the best of the franchise! The emphasis on story and each weapon feeling incredibly unique has been a breath of fresh air. I'm glad their efforts are seemingly being rewarded

I just want to be able to play the games again on PS5. The first one was fine, but the second is highly underrated. Never played the third but I'd love to try it out!

@VaultGuy415 it's fixed now. You can download the PS5 version through PS Plus. It was a temporary glitch

Update: PS Plus version now works for a free upgrade

According to PlayStation chat support, the PS Plus version not being included is a glitch and is intended to be fixed by the end of the day today.

This is gonna be great when I eventually come back to get the platinum on that second playthrough

I was 50/50 about getting it or not. But this has definitely pushed me to the side of not buying. 30 FPS is a non starter for an action game like this

Finally I can play the game now!

It was a fine side quest. But for me, the best was by far the Howard mission. We all knew how it would end, but it didn't make it any less beautiful. The music as I was flying through New York with the birds. I absolutely teared up at the end.

Don't worry, Starfield will save them!.....oh wait

@Nekomichu I believe I read that as long as the PS5 is in rest mode, the Portal can turn it on. But not if the PlayStation is completely off

@Kevw2006 I would to, but that seems unlikely. Xbox's whole purpose right now is to get subscribers. They don't really care about individual sales

I can see a future where a bespoke version of Game Pass is on PlayStation. It'd only be the Xbox first party games. It gives Xbox more subscribers and PlayStation can keep players on their console. Which is what both want

I haven't experienced any issues until last night. It hard crashed my PS5 during a boss fight

@DualWielding I haven't played much yet, but seems pretty rough. I've been reading around on Reddit and unlocking characters can be a major grind if you don't pay. And then you have to worry about leveling each character up individually.

Does anyone know how they'll handle things like materia/weapon upgrades? Since this is a continuation in the game, will I have access to the materia I gained in the first game or is it gonna be like starting a brand new game?

Just anyone except Microsoft or Tencent (for different reasons obviously)

I've been enjoying the game, but it is so overwhelming. They really don't explain anything and they assume you know D&D combat already
