But in reality, I'll forget about it as soon as I get my hands on new God of War. Or dlc for Elden ring.
Or, maybe I actually play that damn Horizon Forbidden West, as it seemed to be very good gameplay-wise.
@Athrum I'm from Ukraine. I'm currently in Kyiv. And as far as I know, Great Britain stands with Ukraine. That is why I say: think twice before giving russians your money.
I beat NES games, 1st and 2nd. 3rd seemed better, but difficulty spike ruined it for me. This comes from a person who beat Ninja Gaiden 2 and Battletoads on NES, so you could guess how terrible the third game on NES is.
Tournament Fighters on NES was my bread and butter as a fighting game. Actually the only decent one on the platform.
If it will be pretty much the same, then.. Man, I don't know. Now I don't feel that I actually need it, to be honest.
But... When you want to scratch that itch of replaying first Tlou, and you know there's slightly better version of it.. You'd probably buy it FOR A DOLLAR! HA HA HA. No seriously, there's severe risk that I'll buy it for a full price and will hate myself for that afterwards.
I'm not waiting for it, honestly. This game won't age well mechanically. Combat was awful even in the day. Leveling up was and still is questionable. A good story and side quests is what carries the player through the game, however.
Elden ring. 1st playthrough was quite rough due to russians attacking Kyiv in march. Still got me through that time as the best distraction available. 170 hours for the first playthrough. Started as a strenght build but eventually evolved into strenght/faith hybrid.
After it became calmer in Kyiv, I did another 140 playthrough with focused strenght build and had a blast with it. Now its time to go back to my 1st character and play 1st tier of NG+. Having fun completing side quests and exploring all the nooks and crannies missed in the first playthrough. Found out you can actually complete Fia's and Ranni's quests BEFORE reaching Altus plateau, this is quite a discovery.
As with all Fromsoft games, it is hard to put it aside before I have around 1000 hours with it. Horizon Forbidden West awaits its turn patiently on my digital shelf. Sorry, Guerilla. Wrong timing with the release window)))

Re: Forspoken Put Through Its Paces in Latest Digital Foundry PS5 Tech Test
I was enthusiastic about this game. But it was before I played the crappy demo.
And it will sell poorly, I'm sure.
Re: Poll: Would You Be Interested in a Detachable PS5 Disc Drive?
Depends on the design.
Disc drive should be present, so I can have a choice, even if I buy digitally most of the time.
Re: Naughty Dog Is Against Announcing Its Secret Project Too Soon
Cyberpunk promo campaign did its dirty job.
That is all I would like to say on the subject matter.
Re: Preview: 20 Hours of Diablo 4 on PS5 Has Us Believing in Blizzard's Latest Trip to Hell
@ShogunRok I never played Diablo before, as I always thought its battle system is dumb.
Instead I LOVE Souls series for its chunky combat.
How's the new Diablo, is there some depth to its battle system?
Or I really shouldn't bother?..
Re: FromSoftware Reveals Armored Core 6 for PS5, PS4, Out Next Year
Never played Armored Core.
But I'm a fan of From Soft since Demon's souls.
So it's a no-brainer for me and THE most awaited release of the upcoming year.
Re: Poll: Did You Buy The Callisto Protocol?
@showface Geroyam Slava!
Re: Poll: Did You Buy The Callisto Protocol?
In Ukraine it is blocked in PS store.
For some stupid reason.

I desperately want to replay it this way.
Re: No 'Concrete Plans' for Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake
Better go for new installment in the series.
Village is awesome.
In spring we will get remake.
New game should be next.
Re: Red Dead Redemption No Longer Playable on PS5, PS4 in a Troubling Sign of the Times
37 old child here.
RDR2 was fantastic.
I skipped ps3, and now I'd consider trying rdr1.
But in reality, I'll forget about it as soon as I get my hands on new God of War. Or dlc for Elden ring.
Or, maybe I actually play that damn Horizon Forbidden West, as it seemed to be very good gameplay-wise.

Any good? [2]

Re: There Could Be Many More PS5, PS4 First-Party Leaks Coming
@Jayslow in 2024 you'll get full price Director's cut.
Wait for remake in 2027.
Re: There Could Be Many More PS5, PS4 First-Party Leaks Coming
Bloodborne please.
The game which convinced me to actually shift from PC to PS4.
Ok, screw Bloodborne. Give me new exclusive game from Fromsoft.
Oh wait. I've already purchased PS5 for the Demon souls remake.. How ironical.
But in that case original was locked to PS3 platform, so it had real value, at least.

Re: CRPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Begins Its Console Crusade on PS4
@Pat_trick, Owlcat games is owned by mail.ru corporation.
It doesn't matter where they are physically located.
Re: CRPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Begins Its Console Crusade on PS4
@TheCollector316
The point is not about being good or bad, the point is where they pay their taxes.
Payin taxes in ru = supporting the war.
Re: CRPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Begins Its Console Crusade on PS4
Pathfinder is made by russians.
Think twice before giving them your money.
Re: Sony Gates Customer Service Priority Behind New PS Stars Program
Stupid idea of the year.
Darwin premium.
How is this even came to mind to somebody?
I'm sure there should be some law this crap contradicts and Sony will get sued HARD for this.
Unfreakingbelieveable.

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection (PS5) - A Radical Bundle with an Incredible Gallery
I wonder if there's a chance to republish those TMNT beat-em ups from PS2 (or PS3??) era.
Seems like they were decent.
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection (PS5) - A Radical Bundle with an Incredible Gallery
@PegasusActual93 those were an instant turn off for many players.
I only beat them because at the time I had no other new cartridges in my possession.
But if you beat it, the next level is the one where you drive turtle bus, so it could be worth it))

Now I'll take it. Even for 70.
No reason to replay old versions.
Re: The Last of Us: Part I PS5 Gameplay Is Next to Leak
I'd rather wait for official presentation.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 433
@Col_McCafferty I would argue about graphics and sound design, but anyway main parameter here is budget. And it is comparable.
Re combat focus: The Witcher 3. Combat is arguably one of the weakest mechanics. It doesn't sell this game. But plot and side quests do.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 433
What more similarities do you need?
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 433
And both combat-focused.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 433
@Col_McCafferty they're both AAA action RPG in open world.

Re: Hands On: Destruction AllStars' Improvements Tease PS5's Live Service Future
@Flaming_Kaiser for me Days Gone is one of the best Sony games.
It has its downsides, but also it has its own identity and spirit.
Re: Hands On: Destruction AllStars' Improvements Tease PS5's Live Service Future
@Flaming_Kaiser Days Gone had a rough start, but eventually sold around 5 million copies, which is not bad at all. Especially for a new IP.
It is obvious that sequel could be made better and could sold more.
Re: Hands On: Destruction AllStars' Improvements Tease PS5's Live Service Future
@get2sammyb hard to believe, but I shurely don't mind it being so.
