I want to play resident evil 2 also but I'm not overcome by it. For me It wasn't the best game at E3 for some miles. I'm telling two mates about it now and they both don't have an interest in resident evil 2. TLOU2 is their best game of E3 and probably mine also. Never take much notice of awards anyway.

@Nakatomi_Uk 360 cheaper and a year start yet ps3 the much more expensive console caught up and finished that generation with a slightly more overall sales, if you can take credit from vgchartz tells us. Having a more expensive ps3, did this allow 360 to sell their console? It had some impact but you can look at 360 sales of 80 million and wonder is that really the install base? I think not. We ourselves have or at least know someone who has has bought more than one 360 because of the failure rate. I had my 2nd 360 die and said no more for me. I wouldn't buy a third model of the same car if I had 2 previous engine failures. So what really help 360 sales was the red ring of death.

Who the hell is still buying gta 5? And at retail when they're are millions of cheaper used copies on eBay? I bet Daniel Radcliffe is responsible for purchasing every copy he can find.

Does anyone ever see articles written on the future of xbox two? I never come across them, it's almost like the only console everyone is talking about is PS5. Which obviously is good for Sony to have industry buzz about a console that won't exist till at least 2020. Im with the many who say there's plenty left in PS4. Plus I have so much yet to finish, I have games still in its wrapping.
I wonder whether developers have tapped in the full potential of the PS4 hardware yet? Ps3 games 8 years is on looked so much better than from first year titles.
Yes PS5 is always going to be a day one purchase for me. A console that isn't called PS5 but is named simply 'the PlayStation' then there's only ever upgrades of this console over the many years bundled with new versions of psvr until a new console is released which will be like what turismorgt has said. The console being a wireless headmounted display that does games in whatever is the available resolution of the time in both standard and vr games. Light weight and portable. Just imagine

@Neolit I had the first fat ps3 with the ps2 chip inside. 12 months in still just in its warranty my ps3 died. Sony gave me two options. A replacement ps3 or have my ps3 repaired which would take several weeks. Back then I couldn't be without playing it so I made the wrong choice and chose replacement. What they have me was the fat model without the ps2 chip.
When my second 360 died, both out of warranty. That was it for me, I wasn't going out to buy another. Many people did especially xbox fans but if you bought the same model of car which both had engine failures, you wouldn't buy that model of car again

I'm on both dlc for the witcher 3. Don't worry Gab, gwent isn't that difficult. I always stick with the Northern realm pack and have the siegemaster to double up on siege weapons. If on gwent a.i easy don't even bother with any of the weather cards. If a.i level higher, just have the clear weather card. I've never bothered with ranged cards other than the jen card as can select a second from your discarded pack. What you want is to have to play as many spy cards as possible. I don't have any card in my full deck lower than 6 other than the one siege medic. Many times I've started with 4 spy cards. If not have acquired another spy card after using one spy card. You also want at least one siege expert to add to xtra point to other siege cards which another point is added when you use you leader ability. If selection has given you close combat cards and have dandelion, keep dandelion, if not swap dandelion. So first round is the same, I use all available spy cards regardless of a. I score. Doing this majority of the time gives you more cards to play with in the next round/s. Sometimes a. I folds early with minimal score, so I will beat it with a couple of cards or if I have geralt, use the one card. Then 2nd round you flaw them as you most likely have a better bunch of cards with siege cards and hero cards. If a. I is scoring points in first round, let them win and only draw your spy cards only. 2nd round a. I generally sees it can't use all their cards to win as it knows it will be beaten and have no cards for round 3 so it will fold if it sees you are aggressive. Only use the cards you need to win trying to save the best ones for round 3. But remember spy cards are the key.
Also if you want the 'killed it' trophy where you need to win a round with 187 or more. I have achieved over 200 points with the method above

For crying out loud "this game has plenty to prove" ffs. There are gamers who'll preorder this have without seeing a single trailer. Has any mario, zelda ever had something to prove? No they haven't the fanbase buys it anyway. The only way we I'm not playing this game if it's crap and many like myself are willing to bet our houses on it being a success.

There's nothing to worry about. The game will do well on Reputation alone. Even if a metacritic averages it at around 80% it will still still millions. I'll be playing this game. I think the real worry is that it has some flaws that holds it back from being a masterpiece and having perfect scores.

@clvr patcher is an idiot. For console to no longer exist, us gamers first will need to stop playing games. Did patcher really believe after this generation every gamer was saying "after this gen is finished, that's it, I'm no longer going to be a gamers"

@wiiware I'd say those who want those games like myself already own a ps4. I think many sales will happen when the pro has a reduction in price for those games and ps4 owners choose to upgrade. I do wonder who are buying ps4's right now? Possibly parents who feel their kids are old enough now maybe?

@Visceral89 that's exactly what I do. I can close any application and try to get on the store and I get nowhere, only seeing the blue screen and the 4 icons loading. The Internet connection test seems to fix this temporarily.
Other problems is when the Web browser crashes as with the update 5.0 the PS4 now says not enough free system memory. (my theory is sony is giving less resources for the Web browser) when it crashes I press the home button to go back to home screen and this can be awful slow.
The what's new sometimes does not show anything. Another Internet connection test is needed. I see too much of this blue screen that leads to nothing.
All these system updates never show visible improvement. I'm sure it's much slower than it was when I got the pro.
When I had the PSP there were many updates for system performances. My guess it was sony tackling piracy as it was an easy system to flash. Makes me think Sony is doing the same for PS4?

If EA could only stop what they are doing and start everything from fresh with new ideas and i.p's but unfortunately this won't happen. We all know fifa 18 is technically fifa 15.3. So there's no stopping making the same game every year as they know the sheep will always buy. We can't even have any competition football games because EA own all the licences which is crap

There's the odd review giving it an 8 probably for click bate as there are gamers comments showing their disgust in the review. Also there are those defending the review and are calling the game fog of war and us fans pony's. Do you think they are bitter envious xbone fans?

Sending more data or sending less data. How about sending no data. Can we not have an update so I no longer have to see the blue background with the square, triangle, circle and X symbols rotating with nothing else loading. Especially when viewing the ps store

There definitely an improvement in this new patch. My tv settings in none hdr games are very colourful which I say is down to Sony's x1 processor or whatever they are? I have the xd903 model.
I don't see any hdr options in game but my tv went automatically into hdr settings when switching on witcher 3. The hdr is really working well as everything seems brighter and the image quality is better. Plus everything seems Sharper and more detailed. Everyone load up the game and let us know if you see an improvement.

Its the expansion pass that gets you both for £9.99 which is cheaper than getting them individually even when both are also on sale till tomorrow. The goty edition is cheap at £15.99 ends tomorrow

@BAMozzy it's a Sony xd903. I'm sure it should be giving me hdr as it's advertised in doing so. If you search about this you find the are a lot of people who have this problem.
Plug in and play it should be. It's like buying a car that takes diesel but before it works you have to collaborate your engine. When I first got the pro I had to go online to find that I had to change the hdmi to enhanced. Wtf. When buying a TV. The sales person should give you a list of links to all the forums for solutions. I love to see the statistics of all those who have PS4 Pro with 4k hdr tv's and have not set it up because they don't know how to.

I have hdr turned off. All the colours are washed out and I've been in every forum trying to find a solution to no avail. There is plenty of others with the same problems and plenty of YouTube videos telling you that hdr sucks.

I think Sony are in a difficult spot that we haven't realised. I say this because of Microsoft. Predictions from gamers, journalists, analysts have more or less been putting the ps5 release in 2020. But I have yet to read in these predictions anything said about what if Microsoft releases their xbox two for fall 2019. Can sony have a year delay release like with ps3? OK so it might be crazy for MS to release a new console so soon after the Xbox one X. So would make sense for MS new console to go one-on-one with ps5 in 2020.
Then I think about MS e3 press conference. Will they show new xboxone releases for 2019 that we don't know about? As they don't really have anything for 2018, maybe they get desperate and what they bring is game trailers for Xbox two? And if so what does this mean for Sony's e3 press conference?
Are Sony in a good enough position that all they need to show is what we've already seen? 2018 is another great year for Playstation with games pushing the console boundaries. Do Sony show new I.p's for 2019 for PS4? If so we definitely won't be seeing a ps5 reveal this year. No need to take away the thunder of 2019 games. Yep it's got to be 2019 E3 to reveal PS5. Although I'll lose it if we do see it this years e3 lol

Im in anyway as I like all hardware and gadgets. If its pricey and there's enough for me to enjoy I'll save up to get one. Gran turismo vr is enough to warrent any price. If it does exceed the 200 mark reaching even 300 plus price point. It still possible to succeed if it has enough software. I mean half of the UK ps4 install Base paid 350 and they only ever play fifa on it. Lot of money for one game
