A cheap region-locked model basically means they’re selling it at a loss (or with a very small profit). The idea is to sell more hardware and make up the profit from game sales. Japan is an important market, after all. I suppose it makes even more sense for Nintendo, since they produce many first-party games that sell extremely well.

I liked ff7 remake & rebirth but I loved clair obscur.
There's too much filler imo in the ff7 remakes. I can't imagine myself replaying them. Some parts were a slog.

It's pretty good but not great imo. I played it around christmas and I found it too janky. The story and writing is great but the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. I forced myself to finish the main quest.

I don't think they are competing. We are getting nintendo consoles mainly for the first party exclusives. Switch + Ps is a great combo. You can play pretty much everything.

They literally killed Ys X in the west. I know for sure I'm not buying it.

The graphics are pretty bad. This looks like a ps3 game at times. Camera movement is akward and I was bumping into invisible walls in dungeons.

Pricing makes literally no sense.

Having played the original on my switch, all I can say is that I completely disagree with the 7/10 score. I guess the reviewer isn't into smt. Just 2 more days to play this gem on my ps5!

I got the game on my Switch, when it came out, but I already preordered the deluxe edition on my ps5. The game was great gameplay-wise, but it was a blurry mess on the switch. I am really looking forward to playing the Vengeance path with good performance and graphics.

Please make it happen atlus. I would definitely double dip. The game is great, but it was definitely too much for the switch. The performance was pretty bad and it made me drop the game eventually.

I personally have no problem with games leaving the service. What I really dislike is:
1. The way they give the info about games leaving the service. One month is not enough imo. Sony needs to be more upfront, so that gamers can plan their gaming time accordingly.
2. The fact that the plus service seems to be getting worse.For the past months mediocre or just bad games enter the service and at the same time, good games are leaving. I see no balance here.

PS plus seems to get worse and worse, despite the price hike. Go figure...

Ι got this game 2 weeks ago having literally no expectations after the disastrous launch. It completely blew me away. The game is amazing. Don't skip it.

I just got one more year of premium. I'll downgrade to extra, if the service won't improve in that time period.

FF16 is a great game but it could be so much more. It's a step in the right direction imo, as it avoids the extreme lows of its predecessors. A solid 8/10.

Atlus being extremely greedy lately. I am personally voting with my wallet. I'll get it eventually after the price drops.

I liked it a lot. It really clicked with me. I pre-ordered right after finishing the demo. The combat is certainly a departure from classic ff games, but it's leaps and bounds better than what we got in the last mainline ff.

@NEStalgia they added a quick save function on modern platforms.

@HUD_Wayne maybe you don't get the battle system. There is literally no need for grinding in this game. I play on normal, never died on a boss battle so far and I don't consider myself a skilled gamer.

I haven't finished it yet but the game is absolutely great. Dropping their in-house engine and using unreal is the best thing the studio could do. Tales has been stale for a while from a technical standpoint. I love everything about the game so far. My only gripe is the enemy variety, but it's a minor issue.

@ankehuber that's not normal behavior. I think you should contact sony. Mine is completely silent when I charge it in rest mode.

My console is completely silent idle, on menus etc. When I am playing a ps5 game (miles morales) I can hear the fan/coil whine/both (I am note sure) when the sound is muted and I am standing next to the console. If I am playing normally, sitting on my couch I can't hear a thing. I am very pleased with my ps5 so far.
PS. What I found interesting is that the sound profile of the console is different on miles morales, depending on the chosen graphics mode (fidelity/performance).
