@WasabiPeanut Yes to everything you said! I loved HZD and then I followed that up with P5. Both which are now in my all time favorites. Not often you can play back to back games (buying day one) and have them BOTH be in your top 10.
Some parts look somewhat like little cutscenes. I wonder how the tools work to make those. Funny how this game wasn't on my radar at all and now it's suddenly right up there with all the big games coming next year.
@Dodoo That's what I was just thinking. Like it'll be fun to create your own things but I really look forward to seeing and playing what others with more creativity and time come up with!
I already ordered it today. Wondering if I should give the demo a try first. So if for some reason I don't like it, I have an unopened game I can return for a full refund.
I saw Gravity Rush Remastered in the EU sale but sadly it's not in the US sale. Been holding off purchasing GR2 until I play the first. Was also hoping that maybe Night in the Woods would get a small sale. It's one that I've had on my want list but forget about.
I've only played the numbered AC games so I can't rank them all but this list made me think how forgettable AC III was. Black Flag is my favorite for now but we'll see how that stands after Christmas (asking for Origins).
Hmm, this article really gives me something to think about now. It will be $25 for Black Friday so I was pretty certain it'd be one of the games I would buy but dying constantly gets me super frustrated. Speaking of which, Crash Bandicoot will also be $25 and I was already having the same dilemma with that..😂
The main thing I remember from this game was when driving around I crashed into something and the guy in the car with me cut off his dialogue to say, "Cole! Stop driving like a d*ck!" ....my wife and I still quote this. 😂
I thought about getting the game this year but there was so much else to play that I don't think I would have found time for a whole baseball season or parts of a few. I may get 18 but it looks like next year may have even more games to fit in. As an Astros fan, I wish Altuve could be on the cover!
@DerMeister It was always the bears that took down my horses! I hated going to the mountains area because they'd come charging out of nowhere and scare me!
I bought the first one kind of randomly...which I never do. It was right after it's release and I wanted a creepy game for October but all this time later and I still haven't finished it. I think I've only made it to the third chapter. With October coming, MAYBE I'll give it another go...but I also keep feeling tempted to get RE7..
Just finished my third playthrough tonight actually. There were some things I missed for trophies so I'll need to go back and work on getting those to Platinum it. 😊
Haven't played GTAV in a few years but I met the guys who voice Michael and Franklin last year at a Comic Con in San Antonio. Sadly, Steven Ogg (Trevor) wasn't there that day because he had to go back to film stuff for The Walking Dead. Either way, it was a cool experience and I told them that I never imagined I'd be actually meeting them.
I was wondering if you guys were going to put something about this! Haha.. I tagged Push Square and Sammy on Twitter on Wednesday right after Funko announced them. I knew you guys weren't big Pop figure fans but I thought you MIGHT enjoy these ones!
@Nickolaidas Wasn't there a "leaked" screenshot of a Rocksteady Superman game going around at some point? I know they hinted at Superman in Arkham Knight...or at least thugs acknowledged his existence.
I'm a big fan of the Arkham games (if my username hasn't given that away already) and I'd love to see more games. It doesn't need the Arkham name attached as that story is finished, but I'm not getting my hopes up or anything. I did keep a look out during E3 week though for any news of the rumoured game others have mentioned above.
Nier Automata for me. I finished up the A route last night. My wife was like, so that's it? I had to tell her nope you have to go through it at least three times!
Also, I love scrolling down thru everyone's replies every week. It's fun seeing people maybe finally getting around to playing big games like HZD or Persona 5...or maybe they're playing something that's really old but on sale. Sometimes it's something I have no interest in but that person loves it. It's just interesting seeing all of our different tastes of games come together.
Nothing tonight as I'm a huge college (American) football fan and will watch the Alabama/Florida State game. Tomorrow I'll continue Uncharted: Lost Legacy. 😊
Playing Lost Legacy...and spending way too much time in photo mode. 😏 I wish I didn't have to work Sunday. We're starting to get rain from Hurricane Harvey and it'd be a great day to sit and just play games.
@KratosMD Thanks! As for minor spoilers go, some may go right over my head since I'm not familiar with any of the story or characters from the previous games...other than Monokuma of course.
Could there be anything in this that might be spoilers for the first 2 games? I'm kind of on the fence about whether or not I want to play these games and this demo might be the perfect way to see how I like it.
@get2sammyb That raises an interesting question. If someone came to you and said they never played Uncharted and could ONLY pick one to play..which one do you suggest? Btw, you saying Lost Legacy is the best one is KILLING me right now. My game disc is screwy so I'm waiting on a replacement to be sent before I can play! 😭
This looks like a lot of fun! I don't know much about the first Knack other than hearing a lot of people making fun of it, but I may finally have the need for a second controller so my wife and I can play something on the PS4 together.
There were some difficult parts on Normal. Usually coming up against a larger new machine. I know I struggled with a few cauldron battles. Otherwise it was the right amount of challenge. Enough that it's fun but I never felt like I was going to destroy everything in seconds.
@7yL3rB I remember reading reviews saying it was around 100hrs, so when I got close to that I thought I was almost done...but really I had like 20+ more hours! Not sure what I did to get that much more time out of it but oh well...time well spent! 😂 One of my favorite games of all time now!
Nier: Automata came in the mail today, so I'll be popping that in sometime tonight. I played the demo back in December/January multiple times but never picked it up at launch due to Horizon Zero Dawn coming out the week before.
Preordered it last night though Amazon didn't give a release day shipping option. Only free two day shipping with Prime. I did also order Nier Automata which will arrive tomorrow...so I guess I'll have more time to spend on that! I've had nothing but great gaming experiences since purchasing my PS4 for Christmas last year and I know these next two for me to play will be amazing as well!
The thing for me is, pixel art doesn't age. I love SNES graphics. The more realistic games look the more they'll eventually look outdated. Just take some of these remasters for example. When they show the comparisons you're like, "wow I don't remember this looking quite so bad!"
@get2sammyb After ND releases TLOU2, what do you think their next project would be? Uncharted related or something completely new? 😮 Obviously we would have no clue...but interested in what everyone would like to see from ND.
@Bluetrain7 Was coming back to this article to say the same thing! Well I haven't bought it yet...but to say it was $39.99 on Amazon (cheapest I have ever seen it) for anyone that has been maybe waiting for a price drop!
I was excited when they showed it last year and downloaded it the first day it was on the Game Preview thing. Ended up being different than I was expecting. You have to worry about eating and I think sleeping? Maybe even drinking..it's been a year so I can't remember. It kind of put me off for this game though.
Yay! I looked awhile back to see if there were any of these but only custom ones came up. Glad they actually made some! Now if they made Persona 5 characters I'd be in big trouble. 💰 👋
All these updates have made me interested but it'll need to be added to my VERY long list of games (like 30+) I still want to buy. So it'll be awhile...😏
@Octane I've been listening to a lot of video game soundtracks lately. Sometimes it's the music in games that make certain parts so memorable. The opening to Bioshock is amazing, but I can't imagine it without the Welcome to Rapture theme playing. Also, more recently while playing Persona 5...when your character gains his Persona for the first time...I had headphones on and the music kicked in with the guitars and everything and I was just like..."holy s--- this is amazing.."
My wife and I are big Fallout fans so we already own all the DLC and were one of the lucky ones who could order the Pip Boy edition before they sold out. 😊
I started FFXV last night. Got to open it as an early birthday present but only got maybe an hour in until I had to get ready for bed...so I'm excited to play more after work today!
Hoping for some good deals on some games I haven't picked up yet. There's a few I kept thinking maybe I'd wait til Black Friday, but if this is supposedly better...then maybe I won't have to wait so long.
Games like Fallout and Bioshock introduced me to older music I probably wouldn't have discovered on my own. I haven't played Fallout 4 in ages but I had The Wanderer stuck in my head the other day at work.
The other day I randomly decided to listen to the Persona 5 ost on Youtube. Made me really miss playing the game! Then I started listening to music from some of my other favorite games. Video game music can be so amazing. I think people that don't know anything about gaming would be really surprised.

Either Dishonored: Death of the Outsider or Overwatch. After the free weekend Overwatch had last weekend I finally decided to buy it.
Re: Batman Maker Rocksteady Says Fans Will Lose Their Minds Over Next Game
@ES2X1 I really would lose my mind if they made a TMNT game. Dark and gritty. It would do well in the style of the Arkham games.
