Re: PS5 Is a Key Influence on Sony's Upcoming Range of TVs

@BAMozzy thanks for the info, I'm satisfied with the TV, and I'm not planning on buying the PS5 on day one, depends on what games it'll launch alongside with then maybe I might consider, I'll most likely wait for the hardware production to mature and skip the chance of having to RMA a day one PS5 (hopefully no one here goes through that experience) and maybe by the time I get my hands on a PS5 I'd have one of those fancy OLED displays with a significantly higher spec

@BAMozzy I'm good, its a sony KD49X80G(btw) and honestly all I'm aiming for is 4K60 Fps stable, (8k would be unreasonable due to the size of my living room), though it would be nice if those firmware updates that enables higher refresh rates would also come to my model

@Eldritch @Broosh hey, Shadow of the Colossus PS4 didnt change anything about the gameplay, it still has that wonky PS2 controls.
They're not really expecting a lot of newcomers to buy these remastered versions (from the ground up so it says) , its more of a service to the fans who really wants to play the game as they remember it I guess

@TheArt like I said, leveraging the power of the new systems is up to the devs, whether they want to push for that higher res and FPS or more realistic AI and physics is up to them, and besides Rockstar and Naughty Dog are still big and successful, and attention to detail has been their specialties. They wont stop developing detailed games as long as they can. Each dev/studio caters to a different market, just because games with million loots and weapons are successful doesnt mean all devs will follow suit, e.g battle royales were huge but I dont see a naughty dog title following the Battle Royale craze
P.S just imagine playing Red dead 2 in 60 Fps? isnt that a treat

@Flaming_Kaiser yeah, I get he's not excited about the next gen consoles but PSVR is still a thing, and I do believe that VR is the next step in gaming yet we barely only have a handful of decent titles and I dont see his company developing one. (heck even from software developed a VR)

@carlos82 platinum games loves that unique system archs, they love spending over a year to relearn the unique pipeline, and another just to develop the game and of course Nier automata runs real frickin great on PC when they ported it. no performance dip whatsoever thumbs up platinum games

@3Above yeah, how is developing for google stadia any different than developing for scarlett/PS5?? they dont code for the stream box they code the game for the server rack themselves, and they're built using the same off the shelf parts (as in off the shelf server parts) right??

@Juanalf hey man just so you know I played DMC V on PC (v1.03 i think? I played it pretty early on) and Lady's "derriere" crack also had that Lens flare and also Trish got the censorship treatment, the censorship was not limited to the PS4 Platform man. Dont be saying things without doing research.
P.S you can find it on forum posts on Steam,
P.P.S Ok so apparently you can turn off the Censorship on PC (never really cared about it as long as I get to pull that devil trigger, oh well hooray PCMR I guess) BUTT (see what I did there?) the censorship is still there as an option so my point still stands
