I don’t know what kind of audience there is for this unless the whole layout of the game is updated to accommodate those changes. Personally I just want the complete master chief collection on the switch 2.

I’d like the series to come back as a stand alone product rather than tied to a video game console. HDMI port right in the guitar.

I believe they’re waiting for the switch 2 reveal and then they’ll say the release date of the game.

I really liked their 2 Mordor lord of the rings games.

I hope they remaster the crystal dynamics trilogy. I loved the PS3 collection.

I still keep hoping they’ll do an offshoot game mid year like they used to do with those weird legends arcade style games. But this time with a no mercy like engine and a modern roster plus updates to match types and wrestler count.

@NeuralDeclan I’m going to see if I can cancel the upgrade since there’s a 14 day return? Add a year of my old, then try the upgrade again. Such an annoying pain in the butt though!

@NeuralDeclan So I upgraded to premium for my remaining subscription. But all it says still is 159.99 or whatever to add a year. No option to get it at 30% off. Are you UK based? I’m NA, so maybe that’s why? I’m pretty sad because I wanted that full year.

What I’m disappointed about is, I’ve decided to get the Portal and then upgrade to a premium account. But because I’m a plus member already until January, I only get the 30% discount for a month!! I was all excited to upgrade and get that off for the whole year. It’s weird how they “punish” customers. Oh well, I was going to cancel altogether after having it from day one, but that streaming portal update got me.

Since the streaming on portal means I can play the ps5 without owning one, I may just have to pick up the portal if the sale is good enough, then upgrade to premium to stream.

Do they have any updates with like resolution bumps or save states or widescreen support? I’ve never bought one of these ps4/ps5 re releases and this trilogy may be my first. I’d be getting it on the ps4 though so I’d be wondering how it performs on that system in particular.

Should have bought a thousand Indy devs for that money. At minimum break even. At best take over an entire market.

I was really excited to see the environment realized. Hopefully it still has some cool visuals even with the lowered budget.

What I wouldn’t give for a remastered trilogy. I thought for sure we’d be getting one when the IP was purchased a few years ago but I guess that is over with.

@Ainu20 Agreed. I’d have followed up 1& 2 with a new game that had the spirit of those two and maybe some slightly adjusted gameplay twerks. Then if it was a hit as well, do it all over again with 3 & 4 and another new game following that.

I tried to play the new guitar hero thing on Fortnite. My first time ever attempting anything in the “universe”. It was the most convoluted, difficult mess I’ve ever experienced in a game. I couldn’t create a character. Like customization didn’t even let me make a name. It just had me chose a what kind of player I was for other people to see or something. It took me forever to find controller button remapping. The controls for the third person walking part weren’t even available unless I quit out of the guitar hero and opened up the third person game. I couldn’t launch a single player version to learn how to play without having a bunch of online people be a party to me practicing. I couldn’t even pause the game as it kept playing the song while I was trying to navigate the mess. And the whole main menu was like a Netflix ripoff that didn’t even make sense.

To say the least I gave up after an hour or so of messing around and won’t ever, ever try it again.

If it can play psp, vita, and ps1-5 games, I’ll get it. If not, pass. Their treatment of the vita ruined Sony for me.

I wish they’d release a stand alone rock band that just plugs into TVs rather than need a video game system. Still, nice to see a guitar making a comeback.

Rewind helps the frustration levels of these old games immensely.

I want a new rock band or guitar hero so badly. But ideally one that doesn’t need to play in a system. Like a stand alone guitar that has a game built into it.

I love being able to play around with settings like this.

After how they treated the first one, I’m done.
