Can you hear that? It's the sound of AT-AT Walkers approaching, as Star Wars fever hits hyperdrive. Hot on the heels of today's new movie trailer – intriguing but a teensy bit cheesy, we thought – EA Games has revealed the first assets from the forthcoming PlayStation 4 game, Star Wars: Battlefront. It's also inadvertently unveiled a release date: 17th November. Competing publishers: if you had the same date in mind, there's still time to delay.
The clip can be seen at the end of the new film teaser, and it shows a scene from the game as Storm Troopers race pods through a lush jungle planet – we're sure that someone will know the name. Perhaps anticipating a reaction from the borderline flawless visuals, DICE's Daniel Kopp wrote on Twitter: "Yes, that is what the game looks like." We've included a high-resolution screenshot from the sequence below. Tasty trees, huh?

Isn't this the exact same thing they showed at E3 last year?... I'm sure the stormtroopers on the bikes was in that E3 making of battlefront footage.

I thought the phantom menace was the last great star wars movie. That final battle with darth maul was the highlight of that entire trilogy imo. the 2nd movie was okay and the 3rd pretty awfull. The first trilogy is awesome in its cheesynes (dont hate me just an opinion

I like it when Star Wars is a little cheesey. It really adds to the fun. Hope the movie doesn't drop the ball, and I'm anticipated the reveal trailer in 3 hours.
