Unity see this

If you've not been paying attention, Assassin's Creed Unity's launch last month was as messy and convoluted as the franchise's storied timeline. Performance issues plagued the title, while terrifying glitches ran amok. Admittedly, Ubisoft was quick to respond, but the developer has now announced that the title's latest patch – which was originally planned for 15th December – will be delayed.

"Rigorous quality control is of paramount importance to us, and your feedback over these past weeks has indicated that it is important to you as well," the studio said in a blog post. "As stated last week, we'd expected to release the patch today (and we know that many are anticipating its release), but we are choosing to hold off until we can give you the improvements that we've promised.

"We are committed to delivering major performance improvements, which requires that we refurbish the Paris map and that will take a few more days to hit the high level of quality that our players deserve," it continued. "Thank you very much for your understanding and continued patience."

This comes soon after the news that the firm will be handing out DLC at no extra cost, as well as a free game to season pass holders. Are you still playing Assassin's Creed Unity, or are you holding out till it's in better shape? Perform some peculiar parkour in the comments section below.
