It's sort of a lie really. It's not being bought for GTA5 at all. Every purchase Id say is for people wanting to play GTAO which can't be bought seperately. Pretty smart sales plan really.
Add to that the amount of people getting banned (which increased as it dropped off the top spot before xmas, coincidence?) which I would say have to get a new copy to try and play online again and it all adds up to free publicity as it stays at the top of the charts for years.

Want this so much. My kids torturing me to play GTAO and Im refusing flat out. This might stop him from asking as it's sorta the same but in lego universe which means less worries. Im sure I'll give it a blast myself also tho.

being digital this gen Ive already burned thru 2tb of HDD space. Ive only 200gb left and have started reducing my purchases as Im running low on space. I know I can delete games but I don't want too and don't see why I should have too. I don't fancy downloading up to 50gb of a game just because I fancy playing a older title for an hour or two. I want it on tap which was my reason for digital this time round.
Not far of holding off on any purchases until External HDD support is implemented. Come on Sony get with the program please. The new white PS4 come shipped with a 500gb HDD. Are you so out of touch Sony? SMFH

Couldn't agree more with that review. I'd give it a 9/10 also (it loses a point for still having the sniper gun glitch but I suppose I wanted it to stay true and could be called harse lol). Well chuffed to have this game back on my playlist. MP is a dream come true for me.

Oh I don't not in the slightest. I will get both things im crying about when needed. Im only irritated that Nov is normally the gaming industry big game release month but every new thread was about 2 things. 2 things that doesnt cater to all the playstation people. Like it or not this mid-gen rehash is dividing the community. This thread actually is fine it's the fact that this thread is an accumulation of the last 5 threads on ps4pro. I'll fek off now and leave you guys in peace to talk about the console generation break-up.

yeah im sure he was. I at least know when Im getting ribbed, just don't understand with what. Must admit tho, you get called out for a swear word on here but not a jot mentioned about getting picked on for posting an opinion on a forum. Like if I can't speak on a forum where can you speak. Speaks volumes really.

Every article on the site is about ps4pro or psvr thats all. All right we get it already they r being released. No need for every article to be about it. Surely Nov is a busy month for game releases also? no? Yeah I come to a ps site for news yeah no bother but ffs every article is just sticking stuff in ppl's gub again and again etc. Put them all together instead of inundating your site with repeated info.

Yawn. Enough with the PS4pro stuff already. Your repeating the same tripe again and again. Im sure everyone has made their choice if it's for them or not. Me obviously not until my current ps4 breaks but ffs is there no games to review or something guys? Give the ps4pro and psvr a break or at least a section of it's own. I come here for NEW news and game reviews etc not reposts of the same info. If not stop at least slow down the 'hype' run your on ffs. Pls.

Say what you all like about Hello Games. I got far more than my £50 worth out of the game. It passed the couple of weeks I expected it too. I didn't get burned and the game released worked better than most AAA titles I've bought. Would like some updates etc like anyone else but this bad mouthing is uncalled for imho.

Gave it another go last night. No it doesn't seem any better. Actually it p*ss poor imho.
Ah well £80 for CODMWremaster I suppose will be worth it as it's the only reason for paying for the digital preorder in the first place. shame that there is a whole brand new game included in that price that I most likely won't even download nevermind play. Disgusting tactics really but I sooo want COD4MW multiplayer again.

Tried all last night to get on and couldn't play any matches. There didnt seem to be any matchmaking at all. Thought I'd try tonight again. Yes it let me into a game. Last the lenght of time it took to play a few maps and couldnt tolerate it any more. What a load of p*sh. Useless MP. Don't like the look of it. Don't like the way it flows. Dont like the maps on show and the hit detection that I experienced anyhow felt like a ps1 or ps2 game. They have a lot to improve if they think for a second I'd be pulled away from MWremastered's MP game for this tripe.

@get2sammyb
Go on Sammy get it. I was totally against getting this as my previous rants state (I.E it will release in the end as a standalone etc as I dont fancy IW at all) but I folded 2 nights ago and bought it digitally on PSN for £80. I've been loving the CODMW campaign again. It's a truly great remaster. Even though I played the original campaign and MP to death I'm surprised to to find myself waiting in anticipation for the next mission then the next etc etc. Even though I know what it coming and how it plays out, I find myself seeing it all as new and fresh. Strange. I just hope the MP isnt a let down as I truly have no interest in IW. £80 for a remaster of my favorite game of all time tho after playing it is a no-brainer now.

I am still torn on this one. I have no interest at all in IW. I want solely for MW MP. Paying full whack is i think just a bit too pricey but im sorta sure inside once I hear some talk on the net about the MP on MW I'll end up buying IW just to get it instead of holding off until they release it as a standalone which im convinced they will in the end lol
Just can't bear to pre-order it. yet! lol

TomKongPhooey commented on Hardware Review: PS4 Slim - Size Matters:

Will be interesting to hear if it's still as quiet in a month or two of constant playing. I clean my CUH-1200 model every month or two and it still sound like a jet engine. Thats with it sitting by itself in a large alcove with a window in it on top of a unit. Nothing else on the unit just the exalted PS4 lol.

Up til now I've said I wont be buying the PS4 Pro with my 1080p TV theres no real point in me moving up to it but this maybe a reason to buy this model before my ps4 needs replacing. If it's a big improvement on the earlier models on quietness then I may have to invest. My whole library this gen is digital btw so no worry on disc front lol.

a lot of 'NEW' gamers are gamers for the storyline (less good movies out these days). Like an interactive Movie but better. It doesnt make sense to leave these potential new players out for the sake of an option in the game.

I'm only finished Deus Ex and to be honest, the game was a bit boring, repetative but I really enjoyed the story, especially when you complete all the side missions etc. For me an option to see the rest of the game play out as a movie on some tedious bits where I could set the controller down and enjoy the game would have been a welcome option at times. Especially when you've to trek across the city back to your base when dinner has just been put out and you've seen it all before, to stick the game on auto and watch as you eat sounds like an option that would be appealing to me and most likely enough others for developers to consider putting the option in a game. No one says you have to play it that way.

Super story. Im still trying to upgrade my hyperdrive but again Im only on my 3rd planetary system and am in no hurry to push on forward. I'm enjoying the scenery way too much. I've experienced a violent planet tho in my last system and must admit I got some real enjoyment in dodging nasty sentinels and creatures also. Great fun and a great read again. Cheers

it boils down to one question for me. Quietness. If it's quieter then I might make a jump in the future when my ps4 seems tired. As it stands at the minute with a completely Digital Library this generation the PS4 sounds like a jet aeroplane even when idling and doing nothing. If they can reduce the sound out of the PS4pro then I may be tempted as I've to turn my tv up very loud to hear over the drone. B4 Im asked yes I do clean out the fans etc and make sure it's not laden with dust but it's still way too loud. Give me a quiet PS4 and I'll buy it on the spot.

@Tasuki I can't see them losing out on the chance of a double pay day. Once the IW thing has run it's course I can see them releasing the remaster on it's own. It's not to say with a few more vid's of the remaster that I'll not fold into a drooling heap and pay for the minimum package that gets me the remaster as MW was my be all and end all for COD but I just don't like the look of IW at all.

Fantastic News!!! I cant wait for all of these but still not gonna fork out for IW. Sooner or later the remaster will be a release on it's own. I'll wait for that to happen then will buy it and anything else they release for it. COD4MW was the be all and end all of COD's imho.

The last time I seen outrage like this was for the No Man's Sky review last week lol. That is a niche game also but ppl believed it to be for the masses. B*tchers will B*tch, forget about them and move on Jacob.

Good review btw it clearly pointed out that this game is a simulation. It is trying to break it's way into a market where it most likely will struggle esp. since buying the game is useless unless I buy a full FFB steering wheel and pedals to play it.

It could deserves a 5 in my opinion if it's trying to sell itself without clearly advertising on the box that you totally need a steering wheel to play the thing. Being totally honest I don't think it deserves a 5 on PS4. Fine it might be the dawg's proverbials on PC but this is a PS4 site with PS4 reviews and I'd be sickened to pay full price for this only to be informed that I need a further bigger investment to actually play it completely. Go back to PC with your unplayable game in the current form (i.e without a wheel) and give our heads peace or even better sell it with a wheel and stop trying to con the console market.

Mightn't have said this very effectively but the intent stands.

tried this game for 2 games only. Soon realised it isn't for me. It is just too gawd damned fast. I've always love fps games but my mind doesnt work that fast anymore. Add to that the fact any high area seems open to all and results in my eyes getting sore from trying to look around too many areas of the screen at the same time. The vertical freedom that I have yearned for years in these types of games has finally came and I can't keep up lol. Ah well

I love the game and put loads of hours into it but didnt get any of the DLC because I knew I wanted the full lot version when it came out. Not too happy about having to start again with the new one. Might just pass now and move on. Shame I sorta fancied playing the dlc eventually but so many other games are out that are fighting for my attention I think it would bug me to have to start again even tho I've a lvl 30 game save sitting in another folder on my ps4. bad move cd projekt

always hated day one patches but in this case i'm glad to see it as early users ain't playing a full game yet. Im just glad to see this game in general truth be told.

I wish tho a day one patch was actually an unlock key to play the game. i.e any title received early didn't actually work until a day one release patch enabled the game for all at the same time. That would make day one patches at least worth downloading as you know noone could spoil the story for you in advance without it.
