Oh Sony, Did You Really Have to Use Sunset Overdrive's Font for Your Sale?

Well it kind of makes sense they are advertising Sunset Overdrive with this sale since they were celebrating Bayonetta 2s upcoming Wii U release on Friday by having Bayonetta on sale this past weekend.

Sad Sunset Overdrive isn't gonna come to us. It's the only game I've wanted on either PS4 or Xbox One this year that's not a remake/definitive edition. A mix of Jet Set Radio and Space Harrier? Yes please. Sad face.

This can't be coincidence. Not only the font, but the first word starts with S and the second one with O?

@get2sammyb On-rails shooter sections just remind me of a childhood spent pouring any silver coins I could find into Space Harrier arcade cabinets. "Get ready!"

Meh. It's just a font, and a free one at that. If anything it says more about Insomniac being cheap and not creating a completely original logo for their game.

And it's still not as big a cock-up as Microsoft using a screenshot from Shadow Fall in their ad for 'exclusive' XBone games.

I always use Comic Sans MS because it conveys a cheerful, informal persona.

Insomniac already said if they make SSO2 it most likely won't be exclusive to Xbox as Insomniac owns the IP and Xbox only owns the first game.

@tulaib_100 I'm not much of an online shooter fan but I really, really enjoyed PvZ: Garden Warfare. It's different enough to make it what is most important in a game in such a crowded genre: lots of fun. $20 is about right too, especially as all DLC is free.

I don't get - not for a second - the appeal of sunset overdrive. Calling it now: 6's around the board, forgotten 3 weeks after release.

@Scollurio I'm going to guess the excitement is based around this being the first-and hopefully last- exclusive for Xbox one by Insomniac. Other than that, I don't see it either. I've seen gameplay, and it looks so boring.

@tulaib_100 I would save your money as better is coming so put that 20 to whatever. PvZ isn't a bad game as it can be fun but it also gets pretty boring after a few sessions of play. Plus if you do get fed up the trade value is pretty small but that makes sence given its price.

If you have friends to play it with you'll enjoy it more.

@ToddlerNaruto just completed ME1 on the PS3 a week ago when I found out it wasnt exclusive anymore It had aged a little (dem loading times..) but still awesome

@ToddlerNaruto I really loved the series. Combat in ME1 was a little clunky though, definitely not as slick as 2 and 3, but 2 and 3 don't have as much RPGelements in them. The story and the characters are a little cheesy sometimes but still very enjoyable
