Another tough group, though my choices are somewhat easier.

@Dichotomy great points, maybe the couple of extra votes were due to the games in the group being more popular than previous groups? I would like to think that, DK vs Zelda has a battle of the ages feel to it. Prior to this round I had to level the 6 and 7 game groups, I knew the groups of 7 games had more games to spread the points between so the latter places would have less points allocated to them and that's borne out. There's no way a last placed game in a group of 7 would have 18 points, its not mathematically possible unless 4 additional members of the community joined in. So that's why those groups have 3 auto spots compared to groups of 6 games rather paltry 2 automatic spots.

Not the biggest fan of either of those two Zelda games but I had to put them in there. Those games and Mario Kart 64 are the only ones from the list that I played.

I'm really regretting not keeping up with Nintendo. These past few rounds have had games I really enjoy, but they're also the only title of the group that I've played.

@DerMeister Damn right. I love Wind Waker. I remember getting it on release at age 13. That opening cutscene still stays with me as a cherished gaming memory!

This was a particularly brutal round.

@Octane The Wind Waker is probably the most unpolished game in the series, considering the second half devolves into a tedious, glorified fetch quest. Still fun, though, and boy is the visual design on point in that game.

Still loads of time to vote in this round. Probable tally up at 10-11 tonight. But on the eve of the switch release there will be the group of death 2! Stay tuned.

@Ralizah It's not that.. bad.. More like the last fifth of the game. You can actually look for the Triforce shards while you do the dungeons. I don't know, I thought it encouraged exploring. I guess that if you do the dungeons first and leave the shards until the very last moment, then it gets a bit repetitive...

For its time though? Easily one of the better polished games, from a technical perspective too. The way Links feet adjust to different elevations in ground level, the way you can interact with more objects than in any other Zelda game, you can even pick up and use enemy's weapons like you can in BOTW.
