@BleedingDreamer Just bought ps5 digital slim at about $441 (since I rarely use the disc), the most it's discounted in my country is about $423, for ps5 slim disc version the most it's discounted is about $508 I think.

Just bought playstation portal midnight black edition, and I must say I'm impressed. I bought the system to play 2D games and I'm actually surprised I can't almost feels the difference between playing it natively and on ps portal, already play shovel knight, river city girls, castlevania sotn, huntdown, and dead cells and I have absolutely no problem with it, (surprisingly) the portable is comfortable to use, it's weight less than my switch oled, the dpad position is really nice to play 2D games, and the screen is good and big enough to play games.

I like ps portal more than my switch now since playing any games at 1080p and 60 fps on portable is nice, and I usually play portable system on my room. Also, I'll buy ps portal 2 if sony make it with direct wifi connection to ps5 (like wii u gamepad). Good job on ps portal sony 😃

My wifi speed is about 66mbps download and 70 mbps upload, and my ps5 is connected by lan cable btw.

Ps4 pro cost the same as the base ps4, with ps4 receive permanent price cut, and ps4 pro is needed for 4K resolutions for tv. Where as ps5 pro cost friggin $700, while the base ps5 can already play most games at 4K or at least 1080p & 60 fps, it's no brainer people find less value for ps5 pro 😕

Players just want updated last of us online from ps3 tlou, players didn't want live service last of us game 😕

I think that's because switch is an old console, most of new indie games run 30 fps on it, and maybe thanks for playstation portal more ps gamers play indie games on it. I just preorder the midnight black ps portal, can't wait to try it 😃

The point is to make something, anything, since sony don't have new 1st party games to announce because jim ryan told most ps studio to make (mostly cancelled) live service games.

Too bad there's no psplus basic discount, I refuse to buy it at $80 since I usually bought it at $40 when it's discounted on website like cdkeys 😕

I think last state of play is good, there's no amazing zelda botw type of games but the list is good. I have no hope for western games anymore so I'm satisfied that there's a lot of non western games in here.

@get2sammyb Man the chinese devs is really stepping up their game huh, I though wukong is kind of scam at first, I'm really surprised the game is really good.

I really hope western devs step up their games too, since their games are really good especially at ps4 era, I still remember the hype for uncharted 4 and spider-man ps4 😃

The annoying thing about returnal is death will set you back to square one, from the first level without health or armor upgrade, it's wasting players time. I gave up after beating the third boss and the fourth level is only remix of first level, and I'm glad I do since I watched the ending on youtube, it suck.

And the protagonist is the most generic protag I played on games, this one looks more interesting.

I only need, like, 1 second in the state of play to know that this game is either from korea, china or japan lol. Looks like most good AAA games will be from those 3 country now.

Oh well, can't wait for this 😃

Onimusha 1-3 isn't easy but isn't a hard game either, the difficulty is just right, we don't need every game has souls like difficulty.

I wonder if capcom going to use japanese actor as the face of the main character, I like that the series usually has famous actor as protagonist like takeshi kaneshiro as samanosuke (onimusha 1,3) and jean reno as jacques (onimusha 3).

I love my psvita, I'm okay with it to only become indie games console. Wish sony make another portable for streaming that can play playstation games too, not ps5 games but at least it can play ps4 games.

I heard that it's all the writing team that's being fired from bioware, if it's true then it's a very good move since veilguard writing is super horrible.

@viktorcode I lol at fact. Thomas lockley the american "historian" that made up yasuke story has been discredited, there isn't paragraphs in japanese history that said yasuke is samurai. Just looks at japanese comment on japanese youtube and twitter and you'll know the truth.

@viktorcode He's only a retainer, there's no record of him of becoming samurai, he's only experiencing 1 battle and he gave up on that battle. Rather than killed, he was sent back to the jesuits. The end.

Ubisoft should make division 3, I enjoyed the second game (never play the first), and maybe add offline mode for the third game, plus make the UI less messy, sometime I feels like playing a mobile game while using division 2 menu. The shooting feels good though, so I hope ubisoft didn't abandoned this series.

I actually have no hope for this game at first, but it's actually a good game, hope we'll get the first and third silent hill remake too. Although I'm fine with silent hill 3 remaster instead, just add at least 2K, 60 fps, and widescreen. Good job, bloober team 😃

The gore in this game is of putting, assassin creed isn't a gore filled game series, its mostly stealth kill, this is more like gore porn. He can even kill innocent woman by stabbing her up while she's screaming, and the animus didn't unsynchron him 😕

@Lup They basically the same person just different sex though, and have the same storyline if I remember correctly. And I think the male one is the default, I remember getting shocked when I pick the female one and in the first scene she's getting punched because she didn't pay her debt lol.

Gamers need digital bill of rights, and fast. The fact that sony can just ban your ps5 and it will render all your thousand of dollars worth of digital games gone is sickening. Especially when they can ban you with their tos even though the tos isn't the same as the country law.

Imagine if honda, mazda, or other car companies have their own tos and can take your car if you don't comply. Fortunately there are a lot of car companies so they can't do that, of course with console companies (sony, nintendo, xbox) it's different. Also smartphone companies, it's only apple ios or google android.

@misak192 @REALAIS I really think this can be a true win for ubisoft if they just make a normal assassin creed, just pick a nameless samurai, don't put china building in japan setting, don't sell half destroyed tori gate, and don't release it on march 20. Just be a normal company.

@TruestoryYep @viktorcode Sadly I think ubisoft is the xenophobe one, making japan assassin creed but naming yasuke as samurai even though he is only a retainer, millions of nameless japanese samurai and yet ubisoft pick this non-japanese one. Not to mention the tori gate scandal, and now ubisoft is releasing the game on the same month as sarin gas attack in japan (march 20)

@Porco Yeah, sometime I kind of regrets selling my old nintendo hardware like my wii u, now after I bought a refurbish wii u and softmod it myself, its my go to machine for playing old nintendo wii/gamecube/n64/snes/nes games on tv.

But playstation new home console hardware usually just the same but better than the old one, not unique like nintendo console, so I feels safe selling it. Not the portable one of course, love my psp and oled psvita

All of this controversy won't happens if ubisoft just be normal and use nameless japanese man as assassin, they can even have yasuke as ncp that you interact between mission or something, and have him become protagonist in separate dlc. But no, ubisoft have to become weird and put him as the protagonist.

The problem is not console or pc, but mobile phone market, there's basically only 2 players, apple and google, and this 2 corp can't make some app or mobile games live or die.

Now I'm kind of interested in ps portal, I've been playing softmod wii u and it's nice to be able to play on tv or on tablet without inserting some console in to the dock like switch, it will be real nice if I can do that with ps5 too. And the new ps portal black colour seems nice.

@Porco I already sold my ps3 for ps4, and my ps4 for ps5 lol, playing psone games on (non-modded) psvita is still fun though, since the screen is small psone games didn't seems too pixelated compared to playing it on ps5 on 55inc tv. I have fun replaying castlevania sotn on psvita 😃

Nice, xbox ninja gaiden 1 is too hard for me but with platinum games co-developing it maybe the gameplay and difficulty will become more like bayonetta 2 and nier automata, can't wait 😃

@Mostik I heard it's not permanent and maybe sony will delete it and back to normal ps5 boot sound only, I hope it's not true though.

@Rich33 I think ps5 has more and better ram management than ps4, but maybe sony just not interested in folders.

Folders and psx boot sound should be high on the list for future firmware 😃

@Porco Team with passion vs Team doing it only for the pay I guess. I still want more classic psone games on ps5 though, it's fun replaying classic games from my childhood compared to AAA slop we get from western devs. I wish ps5 emulation is better though, I prefer playing psone games on tv with 5.1 surround on ps5 compared to pc.

And I can't believe it, but sony actually playing nice for its player, if you bought psone classic from either ps3 or psvita, you can claim the games free on ps5 😃

I mean, what do you expect when hardcore dark rpg suddenly turn into light hearted fun adventure with wacky companion and a lesson about misgendering someone, are there not single person on EA that saw this and think "this isn't right, I don't think this is what the gamers want".

I will sigh and lost hope for playstation 1st party games, and I'll only use the console for 3rd party games. Sony is really lucky that xbox gave up and nintendo didn't play in high-spec console space.

It's the equivalent of new legend of zelda games, but you're not playing link (or zelda) but a random zelda guard and rescuing link instead, and in the end, link died haha. F this game story, and f the game writer.

They should have make the prince as protagonist, not random people that doesn't have anything to do with the prince. At that point, just make a new ip and don't piggy back the prince of persia ip.
