The gimmick is pretty cool that's the characters can become 2D, somehow reminds me of 3ds zelda link between worlds.

Atlus should do this game marketing with sony or nintendo since most of the sales will be from ps5 and switch. Most xbox users don't care about jrpg, even when xbox 360 out sold ps3 by wide margin in usa back then, jrpg games like ff13 sold nearly the same between ps3 and xbox 360 in usa.

@SamMR With ps5 pro at least we're getting another 4 year, not including additional 2 years because of covid. So maybe we'll get another 6 year of ps5/ps5 pro.

Also I think publishers will be bankrupt if they still chase high-end graphics, or at least publishers in the usa since developing games is so expensive in there. Just like making smartphone, at some point it's not feasible to make single player AAA games on western country anymore.

Ubisoft really need to clean house, they have so many employee compared to nintendo but their games output is night and day difference in the quality and quantity departement, and nintendo also do hardware.

Not everything has to be sold out since component shortage days is kind of over. Beside, iPhone sold millions every year but I rarely see them sold out.

I heard that the game originally start a nameless japanese person, just like the usual assassin creed games, but ubisoft change that for yasuke after the blm stuff because they though it would add additional sales. Ubisoft has no respect for their own games anymore, unlike the earlier assassin creed 😕

I'm glad the japanese people at higher up start to speak against this. I can't believe it, but I hope region lock exist again, so we can lock the insane "Type A / Type B" version for the western version, and we get normal "Male / Female" for asia region.

People are sick of live service shooter games, they already have fortnite, cod, and apex. If ubisoft want to make successful shooter live service games, they need to make better game than those 3 titles.

And after reading the news that their employee are going on a strike because they don't want to go to office 3 days a week because the company really need them to fix their games, yeah, ubisoft is done if they can't find better employee, and fast.

Why bought games $70 at release when you can buy it at least half price 6 month later? Thanks to modern gaming I don't have FOMO anymore and it saved me so much money lol.

@Northern_munkey I go where the good games are, it's on japanese back on psone and ps2, then it's on western side on ps3/xbox 360 era, it's both on japan and western side on ps4. Now on ps5, it seems for single player story games, the western AAA games is no good, the japanese/chinese/korea is where the good games are.

I'm only talking about single player AAA games of course.

I like playstation symbol buttons, although maybe that's because after playing parappa the rapper on psone back then, I remember correctly where the x, square, triangle, zero, L1 and L2 button like the back of my hand, lol.

Did you know ubisoft make ac shadow figurine that have one legend tori gate for assassin creed shadow? The problem is the only one legged Torii gate in Japan is the one that has half destroyed during WW2 when the atom bomb hit Nagasaki.

I think most AAA publishers will be bankrupt if they have to increase the graphics fidelty again, ps4/ps5 graphics (uncharted 4, tlou 2, astro bot, ratchet & clank) with 60 fps is enough for me.

Already bought the game digitally on ps5 but I also play on pc/steam, there are a lot of games on steam, most didn't make me sign to another service, I rather not play the games/refund the games and play other games rather than login to another service.

Game like this is best played on handheld but I kind of want that 4K & 60 fps, wish sony has steam deck like ps4 portable.

I mean, he's not wrong, whatever the price is worth it or not is a different matter, but you can't built a pc with the same specs as ps5 pro with $700. Heck even the video card will cost that much, not including motherboard, ram, 2tb nvme ssd, good power supply, xbox/ps gamepad, etc.

But why though, we already got 60 fps on ps5, and pc already got the game with whatever resolution and framerate according to the pc specs, I don't think there's any person that looks at horizon zd and think, "hmm, I need More graphics" 😅
