I really like community notes in X, that feature is ruthless, even the us president and X own owner (elon musk) didn't pass getting community noted, there's no way bluesky is as fun as that lol.

Before, twitter feels like the place for people to be cancelled, now X feels like the place to see the latest news.

@Neither_scene Rather than exodus I heard it's becoming number 1 app in about 174 country, most people like free speech (within the confine of laws) without getting banned I guess. The app is number 1 top chart in news section in my country.

I think every chinese gaming company have to have tencent (ccp) money in it.

@Steel76 @Shrek_Realista I never understand what the higher-up at sony where thinking back then, "Hey ps4 is a huge success, let's fire (or lower their position) the creative people that make the console successful and change it with someone else".

I really though ps5 era will be like ps4 era with some improvement. Like more exclusives, refund feature for psn, better games for psplus, etc, basically just copy steam features and be more consumer friendly than before. Oh well, I guess this is what happens when corporations didn't get a good competitor (looking at you microsoft xbox).

Shuhei yoshida and shawn layden early ps4 era is the most fun playstation era ever, it's like playstation can't do wrong in that era, the right attitude, the right games, the right indie, the right exclusives, man it was a blast 😃

$300-$399 for a device that can play ps1-4 natively and ps5 in cloud seems fine, I want to play a lot of indie games on it and continue it on tv with ps5. The problem with switch is I can do that but most of the games on switch didn't have 5.1 surround, like the shantae series on switch vs ps4/5.

Since steam deck can already play ps1-4 and some ps5 games natively, I don't think that's a tall order for sony to do. It's better if the portable can play ps5 games directly with wifi like wii u pad if it's in the same room with ps5.

@Shigurui I actually forgot whether I meet that vendor or not, I remember using gamefaq to get all the trophy though. I don't think the trophy in nier automata hard to get, you just have to replay the chapter to get some trophy, there are no missable trophy if I remember correctly.

Man this is a neat idea for single player fps games, too bad it's online multiplayer only 😕

I think pvp only fps game is hard genre to crack in western since most people already playing overwatch 2 and cod, pve 3rd person shooter like the first descendant is more likely to get more people playing.

Yes make it so at least it can play ps1, ps2, and ps4 games natively, ps3 & ps5 with cloud, and have proprietary wifi (like wii u tablet) so you can play ps5 games with wifi but without internet in your home.

I remember giving the platinum for the first remake because I can't do the push-up trophy 😕

I prefer getting platinum for something like nier automata where you have to get all the ending and nearly all the side quest for the trophy. Or god of war and spider-man 1 ps4.

Yeah, I can see the switch 2 with ps4 (maybe pro) power will be really really popular in japan. I think console power is already enough, sony should focus on more cheaper and smaller console rather than just more power with ps6.

Besides, who has the money to make single player AAA games with more graphics than ps5 right now, at least not games made in usa.

Oh well, I still buy this game on ps5 though since it has 4K and 5.1 surround support.

@RoomWithaMoose It's kind of hard not to care if every western designed characters in games are like this, up to the point I know in a couple of second of games trailer whether the game designed in western or other place. Oh well, I hope this insane type a / type b characters design will soon disappear.

I don't think alan wake 2 is innovative, kojima, tim schafer, and reggie (nintendo) sure, I don't know about the rest though.

@RoomWithaMoose I just don't care, one company put the works to scan another model for 2B, the other company just lazily put 2B clothes on their characters, and why license 2B character when you just put it on a clearly type 2 or type b character lol.

One company will get the money from the dlc, the other one will get mocked in youtube and twitter, spiralling their own company reputation.

I hope there's new mission and new enemy for nier automata dlc in stellar blade, it's nice there's A2 and emil too beside 2B. I'm okay with paid dlc as long as it's not expensive.

@Keyblade-Dan Nope, what I'm absolutely sick is western developers character design, just look at stellar blade 2B vs ubisoft 2B.

The problem with ps5 pro is ps5 is already good enough, it can play most open world titles like elden ring with 60 fps, it's different with ps4 pro that at least can claim it's a 4K machine.

Also ps4 pro is a $400 machine while ps5 pro is $300 more expensive. Without drive & stand too 😅

@AndyKazama Yup, nier automata is one of their best seller on ps4 so I don't understand why squareenix didn't make nier automata 2, instead break-up yoko taro and platinum to make card game and mmo games. Nier automata 2 exclusive for current-gen ps5 and pc will be cool as heck

Sony want gamers data rather than selling games, I think sony want to make their version of steam store on pc with cross-save option for their console.

I think take 2 looks at the reception of both games, shire (bad) and no rest for the wicked (really good), and react accordingly.

Also hyped for no rest for the wicked, the game looks good in steam early access, can't wait to play it on ps5 😃

I trust users score waay more than the critic score now, the best are steam user reviews score though since its score by the actual buyers 😕

For the game score, looking at the gameplay and story the game is 5 or 6 at best, the gameplay looks okay but the story and dialogue is like for children or marvel movies, and for a dragon age games, known for its dark fantasy setting, yeah that's not gonna works.

Looks good and I think there's combat in this game, so maybe I'll try it when it launch 😃

Concord is really entertaining, not the game itself but all the youtube videos I watch about the game, now I'm kind of sad the studio is closing and I won't get any entertainment about the game again.

I do hope sony will know it's better to focus on more important things, like making more single player games and making playstation 5 cheaper so more people buy playstation console rather than competing with their 3rd party on multiplayer games.

Yeaah, the old bioware is gone, when skillup said that the dialogue is safe like when HR is in the room with the characters, you know the studio is gone. Bioware is like ship of theseus, all the old guard is gone, at this point it's only bioware by name.

I'm fine with masterchief collection 1-3 and gears of war 1-3 on ps5, that's the game I missed when I sold my series s/x months ago. Still have my xbox 360 but I didn't know if it's still works or not.

Bioware future is not looking bright, I don't think this game will sells compared to its previous games. Besides, mass effect andromeda prove that bioware of old already gone.

Xbox gamers rarely buy games anymore, they mostly play on gamepass (like I do when I have xbox series back then lol). Crimson desert dev should take the opportunity, as long as the pc version can also be released day one.

At this point ubisoft ceo should just close down ubisoft and make ubisoft 2 lol. And also take all their previous lost talent back, like rayman & child of light maker, those 2 game is really good.

The problem is you don't own digital games, you license them, no problem for pc market because it's a free market with competing stores (steam/gog/egs), but prepare for orwellian console future if the next batch of console is a digital only with no disc drive/cartridge.

Banning all your paid digital games because you said something that the console makers didn't like (according to their tos) on social media seems likely. The law have to force the corporation to make digital games are bought, not licensed.

I like digital games since it's so convenient, but the corporations made digital future sucks 😕
