I'm mainly a console gamer, but I'm glad PS is branching out to PC. It leads to higher sales and higher player interaction making their games more successful.

I'm convinced that Ninja Theory's and MachineGames's days are numbered. Hellblade 2 and Indiana Jones won't sell enough to keep them around. Obsidian might survive being assigned to work on Fallout/TES. But Xbox is officially dead. You can blame old man Spencer for getting MS to actually pay attention to them.

I said this would happen during the ABK saga. It's why Xbox games are now going multiplatform. Phil Spencer created this mess by convincing MS to spend over $80 billion on acquisitions.

My guess is that the game will release to good reviews, possibly win a BAFTA. Fail to reach sales targets because of Game Pass, launch on PS5 next year, and then Ninja Theory will be closed.

Ok Capcom, now use some of that money to remake/reboot Dino Crisis.

This is not surprising at all. There is no way Microsoft will want to lose out on all those potential sales dollars by putting CoD on Game Pass.

If it weren't for Xbox closing studios for no reason, Andrew Wilson would be the most asinine sounding person in the games industry right now.

My guess is Sony's first party will show up big for the rumored to soon be happening showcase. If not, then we've got a problem.

@GADG3Tx87 Game Pass is not sustainable. It's why MS is suddenly bringing all of their games to the competition.

This is just absurd, but not at all surprising. I said, after Redfall's disastrous launch, that Arkane Austin would be culled and here it is. On top of that, Xbox killed the studio that made their best game in years (Tango Gameworks). It's time for Phil Spencer and especially Matt Booty (he's been nothing but an embarrassment) to go.

I'm so shocked (not really). Activision thinks that only Call of Duty matters.

@MrBook It's been a steady decline for years. This isn't new.

I've been playing it on PS5 and it is night and day when compared to the PS4 version. The game runs at a pretty smooth 60 FPS, there are higher res textures (still not even remotely close to the upper tier of PS4 games), and a number of broken features from the PS4 version have been fixed. That said, the game is still very buggy. People need to stop just saying "well that's Bethesda" when it comes to bugs. There are people looking for the tiniest flaws in Spider-Man 2 just to trash Insomniac. Spider-Man 2 runs and looks like a dream compared to this leaky ship. Bethesda need a new engine (badly) and they need better QA.

@GamingFan4Lyf That's if any of them actually wants game pass. I've had game pass and I have no desire to go back and resubscribe.

I only just started playing 4 for this first time last week. But already, this PS5 update is so much better.

Will this release before or after Deep Down?

@carlos82 I think it's a PS5 issue. We've seen a few games behave strangely on PS5. I don't think the DLC breaks on PS4. Bethesda should create a fix, but, being owned by MS, I'm guessing it's not a priority. I guess, on PS5, just stream the DLCs for the PS4 version?

@carlos82 Yep, the Automatron and Wastelander Workshop DLCs are broken. Classic Bethesda. Hopefully, that will be fixed with the PS5 version, but it's Bethesda. They refuse to give up on their leaky, broken game engine. So who knows?

@SirSephy Um, I've beaten RE7 several times. Never, once in VR. It's not required.

I'll definitely pick up physical versions of all 3 for PS5 if they become available.

Kind of shocked it's taken this long. I know Sony had a 2 year exclusive period, but that ended last year. Either way, this is a great game and it's great more gamers will get to play it. Though, Xbox gamers need to buy it. More sales means a better chance for a sequel.

@nessisonett I agree. I'd rather a mostly linear, narrative driven game than an empty, soulless open world.

I hope that Sony patches their other PC releases to support trophies.

@Anthony_Daniels So, essentially, it tells that AT LEAST 2 million copies have been sold, but the number is likely higher.

@ShadowofTwilight I do wonder how much of the code could have been just removed. There's a mod for Uncharted on PC that cuts down the install by like 30 GB or something.

Glad to see Rise of the Ronin doing well. I'm having a blast with it and trying to finish it before April 26.

Is it too much to hope for that Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare is the PS2 version?

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, no question.

I was convinced that this game was cancelled (I'm still not entirely unconvinced it's not). Also, this is ubisoft the game is likely going to be filled with BS microtransactions.

I'm pretty sure more Xbox games are already in the process of getting ported over. Starfield will launch on PS5 in the not-to-distant future.

@mkr Well, I voted that I prefer 60, but can deal with 30.

60 FPS is notably smoother and definitely preferable. But my eyes will adjust to 30 FPS after about a minute and then I don't notice it. However, if the big companies promise 60 FPS and then fail to deliver, that's a problem.

I can see Lara Croft as number 1. She's one of the few video game characters that people who don't play games can probably name. Agent 47 at third though is just crazy. Baldur's Gate 3 characters shouldn't be on this list. True video game icons are missing: Donkey Kong, Samus Aran, Ganondorf, Bowser, Batman, Spider-Man, Commander Shepard, Luigi, Revan, Kirby just to name a few.

What will come out first: KOTOR remake or Abandoned?

@Czar_Khastik Critics didn't like it, but it appears to be getting a much better reception among the general public (much like Days Gone).

Kenzan should be the next game especially after Ishin! got an excellent remake. There are also a few more Japan-only titles that need to make the jump.

@jedinite No, they replaced it with Puerto Rican flag which is what it was supposed to be. Though, even if they did put in a pride flag, again, oh my god, gay people exist. Who cares?

Nah, I've got really no interest in any of these games. But that's okay, between Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Rise of the Ronin, South Park Snow Day!, Stellar Blade, Helldivers II, and Alone in the Dark, I've got more than enough to play right now. There's also NG+ in Spider-Man 2 and Alan Wake II for when I'm done with those.

@Jaz007 Xbox has continually promised first party AAA games day 1 and how many of those have actually released? Gears 5, Halo Infinite, Starfield, cough cough Redfall. That's about it. There is no way that Game Pass can pay for all of these massive games. MS would be laughed out of the room if they wanted to launch a game like Spider-Man day 1 on a subscription service.

@DennisReynolds Yep, people are dumb. They are still trying to claim that Abby is trans in The Last of Us Part II. And proving that, while they are complaining about it, they didn't actually play the game.

@pyrrhic_victory Not even that, if one of these anti-wokers don't like anything, they immediately call it woke. Spider-Man 2 is woke all because there is a minor side quest where you help a high school student as his boyfriend to prom. Oh my god, gay people exist. The horror! Horizon Forbidden West is woke because Aloy has the OPTION to kiss a girl. Completely ignoring the fact that you don't have to do that.

@DennisReynolds I saw a reddit thread about someone who posted a tweet claiming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth went woke because it's about saving the environment. Like, did they not play the original game in 1997?

Ok, but when is Sony going to let me sort my trophy lists on PS5? It's still weird that PS3 is the device that alphabetizes the trophies. Neither PS4 nor PS5 do it.
