@lazarus11 yeah, that’s a part of the reason I want a fast travel system, there’s nothing interesting to do but dodge zombies in between point A and B. It’s just a bit of a slog, and I really enjoyed 1 and 2. There’s just something off with this one

@lazarus11 for me it’s a lack of fast travel of some sort. When I accept a quest and it wants me to go all the way across the map it makes me want to play something else. I don’t even need fast travel to every safe zone, even just the main hubs would help a lot.

I really tried to like this game, and while it looked amazing the combat wasn’t fun and it was just kinda boring

I’m excited to play this mostly because I never got to see the changes b/w the original 1 + 2 and the kiwamis since I never played the originals. I played #3 so I’ll get to see the differences though s time!

If the game doesn’t end with a character crying about how they’re unlovable or how they want someone to take them out so they don’t have to go home it’s a failure 😆

Microsoft has painted themselves into corner here, if they end gamepass now everyone will bail from their platform, so they’re going to ride this until they’re ready to just be a publisher.

Not hating on this game as it will probably be pretty good, but it’s so far from being the most exciting game of ‘26 for me I had forgotten this existed until I saw this article.

I bought it. Enough people have said it’s pretty good AND it’s an easy platinum. Hopefully they’ll be releasing some patches before I get to it.

GTA IV was my favorite, day one purchase if they do it

I really don’t see why anyone has a problem with this. You can resell a cd key. No disc, no resell, so I’m still happy.

Can’t wait, I’ve never been disappointed in a BL game. Dialogue and story, ok, but I’m not really playing for that. Give me crazy guns!!!

The game looks gorgeous, and I like big open worlds so I’m definitely going to play it. I’ve got to get through KCD2 first, though

I watched some gameplay on YT, I think I’m going to wait for reviews first. The lack of traditional quests concerns me a bit.

Dragon Age was in my personal top 5 for ‘24. I thought it was a lot fun, and it was a fairly easy platinum too. I’m not going to tell anyone that their reasons for not playing it are not valid, but if you’re not opposed to some of the subject matter I think you’ll enjoy it.

I kinda like the silly spin off idea in between mainline releases. It (kinda) fills the void saints row left behind when it comes to over the top silliness.

I enjoy hearing about games that I otherwise never would’ve known about. Btw, I would dispute Astro Bot’s GotY status.

We could’ve got a days gone sequel, but instead we get nothing. Sony makes no money. Dumb all the way around.

I could be wrong, but wasn’t Sony counting the codes bundled with ps5s for HZfW as sales for the game? There was a shortage of ps5s at the time, so millions of those sales are due to bundles that people really didn’t want. Well, a lot of them, anyway. I think Sony thinks it’s a bigger hit than it is.

I don’t have time to keep up with a PC, I think. I prefer a plug and play option. That’s just me.

@CVCubbington yes, keep going, it gets darker, more claustrophobic and filled with dread. It’s a bit of a slow burn.

@Wakkawipeout I play indie games, but I need to feel pretty certain there won’t be a physical release in 6 months to a year later before I buy them. I really try to wait for them to wind up on ps+ if I can.

@elvisfan1 how is it cheaper? I paid $79 for Alan wake 2 physical, played it, and sold it on ebay for $60. I wound up paying $20 for something the digital only people paid $70 for. Definitely not cheaper.

Difficulty options? I stink at soulslikes, I was kinda under the impression that this was a bit easier, but it’s not. I’ve wasted $60 at this point as I can’t even get out of the first area 😂

Is the DLC integrated into the base game, or is it a separate thing selected from the main menu? If I remember right Control’s was integrated, and I prefer that.

I’ve had two dualsense controllers with stick drift in 4 years. Zero issues during PS3/PS4 eras. I hope he had a backup controller around just in case!

I’m in the US and subscribed bc there were no other options despite the high cost. It was a great magazine that got me to try some games that weren’t even on my radar. Now there are no options left. This is a sad day for me.

@JB_Whiting same. I chose 7 bc the combat just felt a little off compared to what I’d expect from this genre. The weapons variety was a little lacking too IMO

I feel like HZD is one of those franchises that people sorta like, but nobody’s actually a huge fan of it and that most people are probably a bit puzzled as to why Sony keeps pushing it so hard when nobody is all that excited about the franchise in general. Am I totally off base here?

I’d be surprised if Disney didn’t have something to do with Indy going multi- plat. They want ROI on their IP, and the gamepass users aren’t going to generate that.

After awhile I found myself preferring to solo missions, but the time limit made solo-ing the harder missions pretty much impossible. If they’d make it to where there was no time limit I might jump back in. I know playing solo kinda defeats the purpose, but after playing with randos for awhile I just preferred it.

Developers don’t need Xbox. Xbox needs developers.
