Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla Backlash as Fans Accuse Ubisoft of Focusing on Microtransactions Over Bug Fixes

mazzel

@fR_eeBritney yeah these issues are really annoying, I completely agree on that. For me, these are bugs. So not really a "the game does not tell you where to go" topic. Annoying, yes, but probably will be fixed. Thanks for the heads up for "old friends", that´s my next quest
Regarding the compass bar: You could argue that it is annoying that the marker disappears. On the other hand, the information you get from NPCs for these specific targets are also not really specific. It´s just realistic, maybe too realistic for a game.
They tell you: The target lives beside a statue near the east gate of the market. So the game sends you to the east gate and then let you search for the statue. Some would call it annoying, some would call it a nice touch to the game play. I would say it depends on your taste. And again, the crow shows you the way
All in all I really enjoy the game, but I think it is too long. It´s my first AC, so I cannot compare it. But for me, it delivers!

Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla Patch News Coming Soon, Ubisoft Updates Long List of Known Issues

mazzel

It's time for an update. It's really frustrating, that it takes them so long to address almost game breaking bugs (the quiver bug is really annoying). It's my first AC ever and I'm enjoying it, but come on Ubisoft!
Also, I find the game a little unbalanced. You can easily raid Lvl 160 places with just lvl 90 Eivor, but a lvl 90 Mini-Boss will eat you for breakfast, even if you are lvl 160. Sure, a little challenge is nice, but come on, even with my strongest weapons, I almost deal no damage to some bosses, even being on a much higher level...

Re: PlayStation Fans So Desperate for PS5 Stock They Brought Their Beds to GameStop

@GamingVeteran What's your point? I was correcting the guy on the death rate number. If you always calculate the death rate using the world's population, everything has a 0,000% death rate. The difference of death rate and how many people die of something is a difference.

In addition, you base your argumentation on past numbers, too. Doing all this lock downs and safety measures is to keep the numbers from rising. Your suggestions and argumentation will lead to rising numbers and then the statistics will kick your ass. No one wants this, not even you. I'm sure about that!

Re: PS5 Controller Not Charging in Rest Mode - How to Fix DualSense PS5 Controller Charging Issue

mazzel

Interesting... I found out that my Controllers only charge in rest mode if I plug them into the front USB... I should try again after the update. I'm using a third party charging dock.

@NEStalgia I can only speak for the DualSense, not for any previous controllers, but I could even charge it on the Switch with the Nintendo Cables (I tried it with the second controller I ordered, which arrived a week prior to the PS5). Also charged it with my phone charger and phone cable. Any phone USB C cable should be capable of data, maybe that's why it works?
If the cable really is a "sensitive" part in the whole chain, I actually don't understand why Sony is not packing the DualSense with a cable. If you buy a second one for 70€, no cable is included...

Re: PS5 Coil Whine Could Be Caused by a Loose Sticky Label

@huyi my personal opinion, which is by no means representative:
I buy first day consoles, so I can enjoy the games for the whole life cycle. My last two consoles (Wii, Switch) had no day-1 issues at all. For switch, all the issues at hand are still present (Joy Con Drift), sonI don't regret buying it day one.
Also the issues for the PS4 are mostly still present (loud fan), so buying a later itteration is so warranty to get a console without issues. Other issues are mainly software driven and can be patched out. So, until I don't have a really bad experience like buying day 1, crashing the console and not getting refund or a replacement, I'm not "afraid" of buying day 1.
Lake I said, my personal opinion!
