I dont think Resistance 3 sold very well which would explain it. Would love a fresh reboot to Resistance or maybe a remake of the first, instead of Resistance 4
The Plague Tale Requiem - finished and platinumed. What a game, great story that had me hooked from start to finish, even though it was my second playthrough. Love it!
Life is Strange Double Exposure - its been on my wishlist and its on sale so decided to get it. I'm a bit torn. I'm enjoying it a lot, feels great to play a Life is Strange game again but I really wish they left Maxs (and Chloes) story where it was. It was a great end to it. This game is not at the same level as the first LiS or Before the storm, which are amazing imo, but its not a bad game in itself at all. Just wish they would've gone with new characters as it really doesnt add anything to have Max in it and the game would have been better for it imo.
Sniper Elite Resistance - I've only played the first mission on my series S and enjoyed it. It looks a bit ***** though and its glitchy but its fun, more fun than I expected it would be as I dropped Sniper Elite 5 rather quick. We'll se how this one holds up for me but good start.
Eternal Strands - its on gamepass, so gave it 1-2 hours before giving up. Didnt like the combat among other things, and there are better games to spend my time with.
Imo FH4 was better and I got bored with FH5 pretty fast but Iβll probably get it in a deep sale down the line. I really hope it does well on Playstation, I want MS as a third party publisher in the future π
It feels wierd seing Forza confirmed for Playstation. Even if we knew it was happening it wasnt really 100 percent in my mind but now that it is real its hard to graspβ¦.
Thats good news, Xbox as a big successful publisher is great and it might mean I can save money not needing to buy as many consoles in the future but still play those awesome Xbox games I want
Iβve been focusing on The Plague Tale Requiem - whats surprising me, having played it once at release, is how good it is. Even if I remember the story, if not all the details, its really gripping me again. Amazing!
Spider-Man 2 - Finished it, amazing game. Miles is still my favorite of the three Spider-Man games but some of the main missions in S-M 2 are incredible.
The Stanley parable - finished and platinumed. Brilliant game, great humour. The end is really never the end with this game. Not even sure IΒ΄ve seen all the game has to offer but having seen most of it I can put it down now.
Star Wars: Tales from the galaxys edge VR - not been feeling the urge to play it at all since last week, which is pretty telling. Mediocre game, but I think IΒ΄m gonna drop it. There are other games I want to play instead.
A Plague Tale - Requiem - I played this back at release on the Series S but I'm going back to it now on the PS5 pro, really enjoying the game. Loved the first one as well, need to add the platinum of Requiem to the collection as it bugs me otherwise. Yes Iβm wierd like that π
Managed to get quite a bit of game time since last week π
Jusant - Finished it, what an epic journey. Really enjoyed it, so much so I got the platinum.
Cocoon - Got reminded in EGs game of 2024 list that I had started but for some reason not finished EGs GOTY for 2023. Really cool game, it did fry my brain with some of the puzzles so I had to use a guide at some points. Very clever and very good game π
Spider-man 2 - Doing a ng+ and Im enjoying it, amazing (π) game. Some of the main missions are just superb. Playing it on fidelity pro 40 fps and it looks so, so good. Usually prefer 60 fps but finally having a TV supporting this mode makes it my new favorite, perfect mix between quality and performance.
The Stanley parable - Fun little game, nice dry humour. Need to get the platinum for this, its an interesting list but that one trophy that requires you to play for a full Tuesday is going to be a bitch however its done π
Star Wars: Tales from the galaxys edge VR - its βfreeβ on plus, might as well play it. Just an hour or two in, its mediocre so far but shooting lasers if still fun and its Star Wars so IΒ΄ll play some more π
You are spouting a lot of personal thoughts and opinions posing them as facts more or less, when they are not. Your opinions are yours, you are free to express them but please separate that from trying to predict the doom of the ps5 as it makes absolutely no sense.
IΒ΄ll buy and play it at some point, probably pretty soon, as Im a fan of LiS and Max but I dont have high expectations. Should have been Dont Nod that developed the game sincve its another Max story but yeah...
Zelda - echoes of wisdom - Its really a special feeling to play a new Zelda game π Been on a family vacation and the switch is just perfect to bring! I really enjoy the game, love the visuals and that its a top down view, brings me back to LttP π it is however, imho, a bit heavy on the echoes focus and it feels to gimmicky. Need a bridge or a tower to climb on, build it from gravity defying beds. Need to heal during a boss fight, make a bed and sleep in it between boss attacks... But its a minor complaint really! Now we're back home Im thinking about pausing it until next trip, we'll see.
Jusant - wanted a relaxing game on the ps5 in between other games and this is perfect for that!
I love my Portal, gives me more opportunities to play and I can bring it on holidays etc. The added function to stream games from the cloud was great, hope they add all streamable games soon.
Hope you all are enjoying the holidays! Finished some games, tried some games and started a game Ive been looking forward to π
Indy - finished it earlier in the week and loved it! It had a good story and fun gameplay (stealth being a bit of a weak point imo) and exploration and most importantly it felt like a great adventure! I can see myself double dip for this game and get it on the ps5 when on a sale π
Behemoth PSVR2 - also finished, and platinumed, which meant playing it twice. Ive enjoyed the game a lot, I like the setting and the fighting and the boss fights are pretty cool. The game could use more polish though, some minor bugs squashed and improvement to controls would be welcome. My own review score? A weak 4 out of 5, but of you are unsure of you like this kind of game wait for a sale or a demo/trial π
βForspoken - Been giving it a couple of hours, but decided to drop it. Its not a bad game, but its not a good one either and I didnt feel like it was worth my time, at least not right now.
βSonic frontiers - Didnt click for me, again not a bad game just not for me.
Zelda - echoes of wisdom - Its really a special feeling to play a new Zelda game π Currently on a family vacation and I basically just started playing but I feel like I will enjoy it π
Bit of a boring update as Im still playing the same games as last weekend, however I did end up getting a ps5 pro. The games first π
Indy - Love this game. Really hits that big adventure feeling Iβve missed since the last Uncharted and Tomb Raider games. Great story, great sense of exploration and discovery. Cant wait to play more!
Behemoth PSVR 2 - Im in the last part of the game I think. The third part of the game wasnt as good as the first two imo but its picking up again in the fourth part. Its still a bit buggy at times and controls could be a bit more precise, but its still very fun to play imo. Dual wielding and axe and a sword at the moment, both of which you can throw and retrieve Kratos style. Pretty awesome! But, I would still recommend waiting for some patches and probably a sale!
Since I decided to drop Stalker 2 until its in better condition Iβve been trying to find something a bit shorter to play since Im waiting for games coming in december (Behemoth and Indy for example) and dont want to be stuck in a big game. Ive played some Beyong good & evil but its not really doing it for me, and some other games I didnt really like but then I picked up:
Neva - Absolutely loved this game! Its from the developer that made Gris which is pretty evident when playing, in a good way. Neva is a very beautiful game, with another great soundtrack from Berlinist. If you liked Gris and/or enjoy these types of games you really need to play this! I might have to double dip on the ps4 version right away, its that good π
CoD Blops 6 - finished the campaign and enjoyed it a lot. Very nice to have a good CoD campaign after the last few really ***** ones.
And I've started Stalker 2. Im a bit torn about this game. On one hand Im enjoying it and really like this kind of game and on the other hand its really rough. Playing on the Series S isnt helping... but it isnt just the technical and buggy side of things it also feels like the game wont last me very long since the story is already lost on me and it then becomes very repetetive playing the almost same things over and over. Still, will keep playing since there are some good parts but I might not keep playing for 40ish hours to finish it on its current state.
I for one really enjoyed the game, stealth sections and flaws and all. In a way the stealth sections where you had to restart from a checkpoint made some sense from a story perspective since you werent supposed to be caught but it was badly implemented. But I guess this change is easier, and makes the game more fun to play.
Feels like a lot of people ***** on this game for reasons other than what the game is. If youΒ΄ve played it and found its not for you, fair enough!
Max Mustard VR - finished and platinumed. Enjoyed it, even if its not perfect and really makes me want Astro in VR its worth checking out!
HZD remaster - Im really enjoying playing through this gorgeous game again. Love it! Still makes my jaw drop at times and I find myself just standing still and enjoying the views.
CoD Blops 6 - enjoying the campaign. As campaigns go its the best since the 2019 MW reboot but not as good as the old MW 1-3 or some of the other older campaigns imo. Still, maybe theres hope for future CoD campaigns π
HZD remaster - such a gorgeous game! So, turns out ng+ on an imported save messes some trophies up so started fresh which was annoying at first but it lets me enjoy it all again so now Im kind of happy about that π love spending time in this world!
CoD Blops 6 - playing the campaign, which Im enjoying. Best in many years! Doesnt run perfect on the Series S but good enough.
Max Mustard VR - about two thirds in, its not perfect but good fun!
Dont have the balls for the new Metro VR which looks awesome so kind of dissapointed in myself π
People, you are on a Playstation dedicated website and you are surprised to see a lot of news and articles about the just released ps5 pro? Youβve got to be ***** me
As for this article, its pretty funny. Dont take everything you read literally!
Dead Island 2 - finished the story ealier in the week but was having so much fun I decided to go for the platinum as I didnt have that much left anyway. Very fun game, very fun platinum π
Max Mustard VR - still very fun, the camera isnt the best and the checkpoints can be a bit far apart but other than that its a good game π
Horizon ZD remaster - love this game! Its a very nice upgrade and the game looks amazing. Been wanting to replay it for a long time so this is perfect for me π
Currently on a family trip for a few days, Im surprised playing on my Portal is working as good as it is given we are far from home. Very happy with that π Anyways, the games:
GRIS - finished and platinumed. Really enjoyed this game, or experience is perhaps a more fitting description as even though its a platformer of sorts its all about the journey, the amazing visuals, the soundtrack, the emoitions... I was late to this but very happy it dropped on plus so I got to play it, might have missed it otherwise!
Dead Island 2 - Im having a lot of fun with this game, and Im one or two missions from finishing the story. Sure, its not perfect and things like fighting four zombies that look exactly the same breaks the immersion totally but the game doesnt take it self to seriously so I can overlook things like that based on the most important thing for a game like this, its really fun!
Max Mustard PSVR2 Pretty much stumbled on this game and after watching a review on YT I got it. Glad I did, Im enjoying it a lot. It reminds me of playing Astro Bot Rescue Mission, but its not as good. Still, if we cant have Astro in VR (seriously Sony, shape the ***** up already) this will help fill the void!
The Plucky Squire - Im finished and I got the platinum. Overall I enjoyed the game, especially the 3d parts and some fun puzzles but the pacing and over explaining of everything was not great. If we get a sequel I would love for them to improve those things!
Dead Island 2 - Figured Iβd give this a fair shot. Its not Dying Light but its pretty fun so far. Will keep playing, at least until some big games start dropping by the end of the month.
Gris - Decided to try it, seems like it could be a nice experience but only just started it. I usually like these kinds of games so high hopes π
Termintor Resistance enhanced - also finished and platinum. Very good AA game, great Terminator feeling and nice tie ins with the first two movies.
the Plucky Squire - very nice and cosy game, especially in the 3D bits, but it has some gameplay mechanics and a pace that takes away from the other really good stuff. Still, enjoying it π
Astro Bot - still makes me smile every second I play this amazing game. Just a few levels and some trophies left now π₯²
Road 96 - finished and platinumed. Some good bits and an interesting game where you play as different teenagers meeting the same people over different chapters where each chapter is one teenagers journey to Road 96. Enjoyed it quite a bit overall but its not Life is Strange good.
Terminator Resistance Enhanced - recently watched Terminator 1&2 (great movies) with the son and when I saw the game on sale I had to get it. Its fun in an old school kind of way, dont need to things too much and blasting T-800s are great. Playing it reminds me of playing Fallout but without VATS, and mutants andβ¦ still, not a bad thing and I will continue to enjoy this game later this evening π

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 560
Ps5 pro - so, I got the βperfect excuseβ to get one as the kids have been playing on my old Ps4 which is now starting to give up it feels like. First I thought Id get them a ps5 slim but then I thought its not that much more for a pro and they can have my ps5. So everyone wins, right? π I gotta say Im pretty happy with the pro and the improvements to the games thats got a pro patch, especially for the first party games. It looks amazing in performance pro mode π€©
Now, I just need a better TV and it just so happens that we need a new one in the cabinβ¦ π

Mainly Indy on the Series S and Behemoth on the PS5. Both are very good games π
Re: Behemoth (PSVR2) - Great Concept, Poor Execution
Its flawed but a lot of fun to play, imo. Some patches and a sale and its really worth checking out!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 558
Mainly Behemoth on PSVR 2 which is very good, controls couls be a little better but other than that its really fun!
Also some Marvel Rivals, which I like and probably will keep playing.
Next week Iβll start Indy π

Gris - Decided to try it, seems like it could be a nice experience but only just started it. I usually like these kinds of games so high hopes π
Re: Hogwarts Legacy PS5, PS4 Could Be Getting Up to 15 Hours More Content

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 550
@Westernwolf4 Shame about the trophies not popping, really annoying.I only encountered some minor bugs that restarting a checkpoint fixed luckily!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 550
@Kraven I did play and platinum Robocop, awesome game!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 550
Some games finished and one started since last week
Astro Bot - Its done, and I got the platinum. I feel like everything has already been said about this game, simply amazing! The last challenge level took me some a couple of runs (many) but it made it even more satisfying when I made it and the last trophies poped π€©
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 549
