April Could Be a Colossal Month from Xbox on PS5 1

There were rumours at the beginning of the year that April was looking like a good month for Xbox games on PS5, and that’s certainly beginning to look like the case.

We already know Forza Horizon 5, the acclaimed open world racer, will make its PlayStation debut on 29th April, but there are also credible rumours that Machine Games’ well-liked Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will precede it on 17th April.

Now, World’s Edge, the team behind Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition, has released patch notes for the iconic strategy game’s next major update. While it doesn’t specifically state a PS5 release date, it heavily implies that the port will launch alongside the patch in mid-April.

“We know you’re curious and want details, but this one needs to wait a bit longer – we’ll have more to say about this very soon,” it said of the anticipated PlayStation version.

If this isn’t enough, there were also reports overnight that Bethesda’s heavily rumoured Oblivion remake could release as early as April as well. While that remains very much speculation, we should at least see the game revealed by the end of next month.

So, while the spring period is usually a slower window for new game releases, it’s looking like PS5 is going to be absolutely packed to the gills with new games – especially if you don’t already own an Xbox and have been waiting to play some of Microsoft’s biggest games.
