@Oram77 while i agree that re3remake cuts a lot of stuff, i find it pretty fun to play, it`s not extremely long but it`s straight into the action from start to finish.
the new resident evil have always long parts that are super slow on replays, with village the entire first part in ethan house was a chore on multiple replay and in 9 i find all the start till you can play with grace after getting saved by leon pretty uninteresting, same with the orfanage with the kids part.

the story i thought was a mess, why is victor sending zombies to claire if he wants her alive, like the first zombie cop.
zeno was pretty useless too.

again not a bad game, loved it, i just think it could have been better.

i liked this game a lot but i still think re2 and 3 remake are better games.
the story is pretty ass, and the game is really linear, even though it gives the illusion of exploring the care center pretty well.
the bosses are nothing special, the only fun one is the general in insane difficult.
i want a really scary resident evil, not round kicking and parry everything that moves, i mean when you play as leon you feel bad for the zombies and the lickers haha.
but that`s the problem with wanting to appeal to a larger audience.

this game with download required on disc version went in the second hand market list for me.

@ButterySmooth30FPS to me, i like physical copies, i like having the discs, if i want digital i would buy digital, having just the download key on the disc feels like half assing it, it's not physical cause you have nothing without downloading, and it's not digital either cause you have to use an empty disc to play, so what even is the point? you get the worste of both formats without any benefits, just release digital only at that point.

game key cards are garbage.
i like buying discs and when i buy a physical copy and i need to download the game anyway it pisses me off.

was waiting fir reviews but the game looks pretty fun and interesting, but will buy used if i need to, or skip it, i have plenty of games already.

they game probably bombed pretty hard on switch, while it had an exclusive deal with nintendo at the start, microsoft may have made a deal to pay for the port and nintendo don't care anymore, so they did port it to xbox.
i don't think they are excluding ps5, square just don't see this game as a good seller so didn't even bother.

i see no port begging, i just see an article calling out square on their words.
exclusives are good, but when you go around praysing multiplatform releases and spewing you are never doing exclusives again, and then you do the opposite you look like an ass.

that`s why sony should have never ported their games to begin with.

i like lego but i don`t get this console builds at all, they are overpriced pieces of plastic with no use at all, at that point why not buy a used real ps1 and have that on display, i`m sure it will be 10x cheaper and if i want i can use it to play games too.

pc gamers are like vegans, they need to tell everyone else how better they think they are, even if nobody asked or care to begin with.

sony should focus first on ps5 and ps6 next, but they feel like everyone should cater to pc first, cause reasons.
sony did fine without pc till now so why should be any different now?

while i still probably buy a ps6, if this console let me play multiplayer games online for free, giving it`s pc side, i may get one to play with my brother, and get all single player games on ps6.

@Oram77 i know that. but nintendo fanboys are a special group, if game kay card are successfull don't you think sony will follow? but what do you want me to do? go out and punch everyone that buy a switch?
we are talking about playstation, and i am doing my best to not support them, i'm pretty much fully second hand.
and i know pretty well they are not my friend and i don't care for them to be, i want good games and a good service, and they will get my money when they will do better.

i want sony to do better, when they came out with the ps3 they though they were invincible, but they were struggling pretty bad at first cause the xbox360 was doing pretty good, that push sony to do better and we got better prices and better games.

then xbox shot themself.

i wouldn`t mind if xbox gets exclusives and gets competitive again.

if sony would be a bit more clear it would go a long way, are the bluepoint employes let go or are they moved to other studios? just knowing this would help alleviate the anger from a lot of people. we don't really know the full situation unfortunately, but modern sony sucks at comunication with the fanbase.

i find the people jumping on switch hilarious to be honest, nintendo is even worst than sony at the moment with the switch 2.

i just want ps2 glory sony back.

they could have used this studio to refresh a lot of the older games playstation fans have been asking for years, instead sony decided it was better to fully focus on gaas and pc porting, and that`s the result we get, not gonna buy or support any game that is gaas or day one multiplatform from sony.

while i liked final fantasy 7 remake (not yet played rebirth), other than the character models of the main cast the rest of the game was nothing special in the graphic department, i mean for how linear it was, uncharted 4 came out year before and looked 10 times better.
from what i heard rebirth is not amazing in graphic and performance either, so good look making the game for 4 different platforms at the same time, when they can`t even fully optimise while focusing on one.

isn`t this game multiplatform?
and anyway nintendo fans care only for things on nintendo, if the game would have been exclusive to sony they would rather wait the next gen and hope for a port than buy something playstation.

love this game, can`t wait to play it again

the art style looks cool, looks like a disney movie, my problem is how tonally different it is from the main series, it`s a bit of a clash.

anyway not going to bother, i said a long time ago if sony wants to make multiplayer games and sell them to pc too, they need to give me parity and free multiplayer like they give on pc or they won`t get my money at all.

@PuppetMaster yeah, i noticed the same thing, other than nintendo games, the japanese market is not healthy at all, and that`s quite sad.
when a multiplat sell a few copies more on switch than ps5 while having 3 times the player base, and when you watch the charts and every years all the same games from 8 years ago continue to be the top sellers, there is little to be gloating about.

@PuppetMaster it`s funny cause rebirth opened with 262K and was deemed a flop by gematsu users, remake open with 23K on a nintendo platform and it`s amazing and square should focus completely on switch.

unfortunate, they want to reach a broader audience from how they speak, just not the playstation or xbox audience for some reasons.

but this is the same guy who was crying bankrupcy, and then released another game soon after.

guess playstation users moneys are no good.

if you read famitsu sale numbers week by week you can clearly see that other than nintendo games, games in japan barely sell.
even big names like final fantasy and monster hunter are starting to decline, for how much fanboys like to boast about switch sales, in japan 3rd party games sell as much on ps4 or ps5 most of the times, and they have 3 times the install base.

selling worldwide is the best option.

i like the ps5 and i think it`s a good console, but on the other side i feel it`s not really been used to its full potential and that is quite disappointing.
right now it feels more like a better version of a ps4 than a console on its own to me.

@Bizzy yeah, it would be a dream come true.
but in reality they only care about making money, and letting you play your old games, you already own, is not as "cool" as selling you the same games again.

that`s why i bought a ps3 again and installed custom firmware, it`s a lot fast than waiting for sony to release classic games, and with all the rights required it will be impossible to have the complete library anyway.

like sony did with the disk drive attachment, sony should sell an attachment that let you play ps1 ps2 and ps3 disc games.
that would probably sell a lot an convince everybody to move forward.

from the start i thought bringing games to pc was dumb, so i'm happy if it turns out this is true, more resorces spend toward playstation.

i think there is a reason why there were no prices in the video, and it will be expensive.
i mean when describing the steam machine they were like "wow it has leds".

and lets not forget how the steam deck was going to "revolutionise" gaming from steam fanboys and is outsold by the vita, and switch remained untoched.

hard to say, let's hope that seeing the steam machine sony stops porting games to pc.

the yen is weak and for people that import from japan the ps5 would cost 300$, rising the price was to stop these people from importing cheap, but in return it screwed japanese gamers, for japanese people the ps5 slim costs went up to 800$.

so this is a good thing , the price goes down to 500$ as it should be.

it's not a price drop. for people outside japan buying a japanese ps5 was cheap cause of money exchange, but to japanese people it was 500$ like everywhere else, then sony raised the price to stop people importing, but japanese people got screwed, cause now the ps5 was 800$.
this just gove an option to go back to the original price, and given that the switch 2 is roughly the same price, it helps being more competitive.

it was a step in a good direction.
till now sony wasn't focusing on japan anymore, and nintendo get pretty much domination, for japanese games nintendo directs give you more attention from japanese players.

so i think that's why the games shown were already known or not big, they have to build trust back, and this is a start for showing they want to build up in japan again too, the cheap ps5 for japanese players is a good sign too.

that's why i see this as more of a first step then a big presentation, what comes next is more important from how i see it.

famitsu sales are only good for nintendo fanboys that like to gloat how the playstation is dead in japan without the full picture.
they mean very little when they don`t include digital sales.

the "prestige" of ps1 and ps2 era square is mostly gone, they can blame ps5 all they want but that will not change anything, it probably will get worse with releasing everywhere ate the same time.
they can barely optimise for one platform, good luck i guess.

still waiting for bravely series on ps5 by the way.

the game is not bad but there are some major flaws, to me the story was boring and super easy, the characters are not that interesting and the kid sucks hard, and then they removed any type of exploration and hunting, instead of searching for the monsters they tell you where they are from the start and if that is not enough the stupid bird takes you there automatically, they took out all the exploration and feeling of discovery that i liked in world

hope they port pizza tower to ps5 too

it shouldn`t be the better option just cause the competition is garbage, sony should work to make psn+ a better service, cause as of right now i`m not gonna pay 80$ a year and be grateful just cause other people get to pay 360$.

i have been saying from the start that porting their games to other platform was stupid and damaging in the long run.
so if they start going back and focusing on ps5 ad ps6 and finally listening to their fans all good to me.

if the ps6 is portable porting their games to switch would be dumb. offer a better option and probably they`ll come to your system.

square can barely optimise for one platform when exclusive and with the help of sony, it will be hilarious to see how this turns out.
i have a feeling it will sell even less now that it is multiplatform from the start.

everybody golf ps4 sold 100k at launch on ps4 only, with 30 mil switch user more it can't sell half.

would have bought both

as shortsighted as sony porting its games to pc and other consoles annd pushing live services.
