Re: The Game Awards 2018: The Next Dragon Age Gets a Teaser Trailer

@Amusei

I have to agree with MOST of what u said earlier. I also loved dragon age origins and thought it was like the best and new IP at the time and it really made an excellent entry point. I also agree that DA 2 sort of was great in some ways and VASTLY different from what made Origins so great but I still admire the amount of attention and detail bioware clearly put into the games production (the dialogue had a staggering amount and broke new records for the most ever voice acted in a game at that time). And then came DA Inquisition. While it definitely strayed even further from the original idea than DA 2 did, it also had some so-so qualities that didn't feel too far fetched to be a part of the Dragon Age mythology. I mean yeah, I agree EA is the problem here, but I just couldn't make myself say DA Inquisition was a bad game necessarily, it was just my hopes and expectations were so high, that when it turned out like it did, myself and many other fans as well was devastated and in disbelief, but if you go back and play it again now, you will find plenty of things to keep u going for a while. But I believe that given all this time and between Bioware and EA both having done careful analysis and feedback from what fans wanted to see, I am in high hopes that they may get it right. May not be another DA Origins, but hey as long as it's not a Mass Effect Andromeda, I'll be pleased!!

Re: LEGO DC Super-Villains - It's Good to Be Bad

I have read both this review and I also checked out Gamespot's review. And I have to say, while the reviewers at Gamespot don't EVER give the LEGO games a chance, I am glad to see this sites review worthy of the game and appreciating the LEGO games as they should be. I guess the reviewers at Gamespot either A- don't have any kids to play with, B.- don't like kid's games or C.- are complete idiots. Kudos pushsquare!!

Re: SEGA Wants Simultaneous Worldwide Release Dates for Its Games

jim_bob_89

Yeah this is excellent news!! I assume alot of their decision to do this stems from the multiple survey's that SEGA has been conducting after their major titles release. For instance, I know I personally have mentioned how great better and quicker localization efforts would benefit us as fans in the last 2 Yakuza games released. And it appears that Sega is listening, so hats off to you guys at SEGA!!

Re: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Takes PS4 to Court in 2019

jim_bob_89

Oh my God!! thank you!! I have been awaiting this ever since I first remember hearing the series mentioned as being similar to my favorite teen visual novel murder mystery. While the possibility of this upcoming visual novel series being greater than my personal choice, Danganronpa, less than zero, (that is less than 0% of a chance Ace Attorney>Danganronpa), the genre is always surprising and in need of some more classics. Ace Attorney is very welcome by me nonetheless.

Re: Square Enix Partners with Deck Nine on New Title

@Cordeceps Yeah, clearly me and you are among the only who do. Before The Storm was nowhere near as good to me, with no powers, different Chloe voice actress, and hello, Life Is Strange set up this awesome world with believable characters in it. They laid the foundation for the series, and Before the Storm failed to live up in my opinion. Rushed and nowhere near as intense.

Re: Soapbox: Sony's in Danger of Becoming Closed Off

Wow, well said dude. I hate to say that I agree, Sony has been keeping its fanbase and the public in the shadows for too long now, and a general consensus of what to expect in the months to come and the plans for the VR department are all topics that should be addressed to its loyal fanbase.

Re: Poll: Ultimate PlayStation Character Tournament: Top 16 - Matches 109-112

jim_bob_89

Man, i absolutely love this idea and the fact that you guys are actually being consistent and loyal to it. This week was another tough one for me.....
1. Solid Snake is an easy and quick pick over Corvo.
2. I chose Yennefer over Sonic (although I still love Sonic)
3. Sackboy cuz I hate GTA5 & Trevor is nobody special.
4. Geralt of Rivia was my pick and this was the hardest one for me cuz I loved and still love Spyro. he reminds me of great nostalgic memories but Geralt's journey in W3 won me over for many many reasons I wont list here. Geralt is forever a legendary bad ass in my eyes.

Re: Poll: Ultimate PlayStation Character Tournament: Top 16 - Matches 105-108

jim_bob_89

Ahhhh!!!

Eventually, this list was DESTINED to get tough!!! Its still not at the most heated and difficult lineups but we are getting hotter by the week!!!

Leon S. Kennedy always beats Nathan Drake in my eyes... (guess i was the only one)

Sephiroth battle was easy. Who was Nariko btw?lol

Another easy win for Ellie V.s Neo Cortex. Seriously, i dunno how that guy even made it this far in the contest!!

And Crash Bandicoot V.s Dante (and all his badassery)

Ugh, I was a little torn, as the kid in me wanted to vote for my cherished childhood gaming pal Crash, but seriously Dante is a better and stronger character on all levels. If everyone thought outside their nostalgia box, they would realize this!!! Great week!!

Re: Soapbox: Sony Has Become Far Too Quiet

jim_bob_89

Wow, great article and I have always thought that Sony doesn't "sell" their PS4 on advertisements nearly as well as Nintendo & Microsoft. Which sucks, cuz being American, all you hear on the stations anymore is Xbox this & Microsoft that. Sony needs to let its general core base fans know what their focus or goals are. And ANY news on a possible PS5 release!!

Re: The Inpatient

jim_bob_89

So, does anyone know if this will REQUIRE a PSVR headset to play or will it support normal console like Until Dawn?
