They’re great games, but I already played most of them via game pass so I’ll play kena and monster boy for sure.

@Grimwood that Microsoft is willing to allow their games on competing subscription services.

@VeldinX Yeah by this point it should be fixed. Especially with the library they could be putting on premium from the ps2.

They should have used the ps2 port for the ps premium version for 2nd stick support. I've heard the ps2 emulator can be a bit glitchy on ps5 though.

I honestly don't even consider this alot more expensive than the psvr1. The bundle that had everything in the box cost $499 so it was only slightly cheaper for all the things you likely needed. I think it's biggest problem is the economy right now with inflation causing people to not wanna spend that much on it.

The dudes like the grim reaper. I doubt he's the main reason any of the things he has been apart of was a failure, but the guy hasn't had the best luck. PS3 was push by Kutaragi, Xbox was by Mattrick, and stadia was a long shot and it seemed like it was forced out early without features.

@Ryall It probably helps that any game microsoft publishes is easily accessible to try on both pc and xbox.

With the sports games this does not surprise me in the slightest. Activision really only has one big game. Meanwhile EA has the yearly sports games on top of whatever they decide to release in a calendar year.

I believe this as much as I believe cdpr was sorry about the PS4/Xbox 1 versions of cyber punk.

@Wheatly Lets say it was 13% of maybe 7 million (the lowest selling number of the recent games re3 remake) is still nearly a million unit seller. This will likely sell more than the re3 remake and considering this was likely a port that's still probably worth the money spent on it.

I'm playing through the back log at the moment, but I'll definitely get around to it sooner than later.

From what i've seen it doesn't seem like a totally bad port. Just a bad choice by not including an optional 30 fps cap for those who'd rather have a more steady framerate. I just think this was a ps5 game first and someone proved it would work by doing the low res textures and degraded assets. I'm sure there are plenty of ps4 users just happy to play it right now.

@Ryall exactly why I'd never pick up a digital only console. Between that and companies choosing to shut down whole stores on a whim or choosing when to not sell a game for whatever reason it maybe.

So all things that could happen during regular development, okay sony.

@stvevan because the last game announced this close to release was GTA the trilogy and hardly shown gameplay too. Eas shown themselves to be just as money hungry as rockstar so it wouldnt surprise me to see this is just a cash grab too.

It really worries me that they've just announced it and are launching it this year. I hope it's good though.

They have a large back catalog of PS3 games that could really use the update and this is where they go 🤦

@kcarnes9051 too each their own, But I felt the killing of her pregnant friend was enough to start the thought process of hey these are people with friends, family etc. In Ellie's arch along with the scene of Abby protecting Lev as Joel once did for her. I still feel nothing was added by playing as abby. I'm not opposed to Abby as a character like a lot of others. I just didn't feel like playing as abby made me feel any different then those scenes I mentioned along with others in Ellie's story. I wouldn't even have had to known she was a firefly to feel for her and her group. Joel was said to wrong alot of people and probably had it coming at some point.

I've got to disagree overall. I could have gone completely without playing as Abby. You could have had the fact she was a firefly's daughter come out a different way and I'd completely understand her motives. I didn't need to play as her to like this story. It just added way too many hours onto the game.

@Snake_V5 it's because they've already implemented a psp emulator into the PS4/ps5 software. It's what the locoroco and parappa the rapper remaster run on.

Well there goes my purchase to be honest. I'd rather them have an offline mode that I can't take online rather than depending on a server in my single player game.

@Milktastrophe well the worst thing is they actually slowed progression. Then they introduced these. It would have caused enough of an uproar without slowing the progression.

@BAMozzy even if all players were online the CPU would still have to perform physics run networking code for 40 cars, on topping of numerous other things. I doubt the CPU could handle that and the GPU might struggle too. Some people seem to be surprised that a way more powerful computer streaming the game is more capable than a half decade console that had a arguably lacking CPU when it launched.
