Killzone shadow fall - loved it, and free DLC worth admission Driveclub- download the free version and will probably upgrade Destiny- not meeting the hype, but oddly still addicting. Shadow of Mordor- came out of left field to be a stand out next gen experience. It hasn't been that bad not meeting a years worth of expectations is hardly worth writing it off.
At least killzone could stand on its own legs. Haze was also dubbed a halo killer see how that worked out. Who cares if it kills Forza as long as it is playable and fun.
Diablo 3 to satisfy my loot craving until destiny makes its way into my grubby hands. Then some Battlefield to finish of those pesky assignments (bf4 is the first game I have ever tried to fully complete, not sure why). Happy gaming everyone.
If done right this would be a boon for the vita. The resident evil franchise has plummeted from its spot as top dog. I would love to try a new Resi on my Vita.
Despite consoles having a fixed hardware setup they are still my first choice. I enjoy pc gaming but to many times I have bought a pc game just to find out I need to update a driver, or make changes to my OP system to make it run. With work and family I need convenience not power. To be honest if guild wars came to consoles and with the witcher coming to consoles I won't be using my pc to game, for the foreseeable future.
This is pretty exciting for me. I have been waiting for something like this. I don't enjoy racing games, but my four year old son loves them. I will download for free and he and I can race together. He gets to play for half an hour a day and there is a limited selection on the ps4 that my wife and I find appropriate for him. I had the burnout paradise demo on my ps3 and he loved it, this won't be quite the same but still fun.
So in the spirit of the fan boy posts all I have to say is. " my copy of Tiger electronics handheld Double Dragon has never ever once been hacked. Stupid nex gen consoles. Bring the double A's and tiger rules the day!." so there while we are at it let's all drop trow and see who's sporting the biggest baby baster. Hackers need to do something truly constructive, instead of attacking online networks for video games, they should maybe use some of those skills outing criminals, or taking down racist websites and other spawning pools of hate. Also yay destiny countdown started.
I am feeling nostalgic. Going to play some original Diablo, war craft 2, and return fire on my ps1. Hope these come to psn soon, I would love all three on my vita.
This is crap. Suing over something as trivial as resolution astounds me.
Now if the game had claimed it could cure cancer or increase penis size then he might have a leg to stand on.
Simply ridiculous.
Dead space had the atmosphere. Doom needs to capture some of that and put their own stamp on it. The controls need to revamped or taken back to the original. This game could be great but it needs to distinguish itself from the sea of similar games like it has done in the past.
This should put to rest the fears that Sony first party studios are the only ones that are undergoing change. Senior employees changing jobs is much better news than employees not getting paid.
"I hope Ben Affleck does the voice for Batman". Said no one ever. Oh wait he is the batman. "I'm the batman" in a Boston accent. I'm now more excited for the new batman game than I am for the movie. This looks good
With the price of new AAA titles being roughly 70-80 dollars here in Canada. This service may be the most economically viable option here. That's if our service providers offer enough bandwidth to support this, which unfortunately may be a problem. I would love to try PS Now but will have to wait and see if it's a possibility.
I would like to see this series either take a new direction. Or take a step back to its roots. RE5 was pretty good and I enjoyed it thoroughly. RE6 on the other hand was so bland to me that I traded it in after two days of owning it. I would love to get back into the RE universe, but capcom will have to do much better than the last few offerings to gain the consumers trust again. I'm excited to see it.
@thedevilsjester good call good sir. I was on coffee break and trying to chuff down a cig while I wrote that. Time constraints cause memory problems with me!
I am happy with my vita. But there are times where I miss that little machine. First game was ff7 advent children. It brought me back to handheld gaming, I hadn't owned a handheld since the original game boy. PSP was an amazing system with a phenomenal game library. Its still overwhelming going into the psp section of PSN store. Let's hope the Vita will start to pick up.
I think I will show my brother this article without the reveal. He will soil his trousers with joy, and by this time next week I will reveal the cruel nature of this joke. He will then soil a kleenex with his tears of utter sorrow.
@Carl-G I loved timesplitters. My brother and I played the whole series. We had a memory card strictly dedicated to our own maps. I would love a re-release or a remake of that game. Now I want to try this just for the fun of beating my brother while he sits beside me on the couch.
I think PS+ is an amazing deal for its price. Although I preferred it when it was not needed to access all the functions of a game (a small gripe not even a problem more of a preference). The biggest problem is the lack of content, many of these indie games are truly well made games, unfortunately they aren't for everyone. I'm not big into indie games, but each month I download the free title even if I have no interest at all. Most times I enjoy them for a few days but get bored so I delete them. But there are a few that have surprised me so I kept them. What it boils down to is "it's what you make of it". In a few months the PS4 should have a more established library which will ease the unreasonable expectations of the PS+ service. As for indies, give em a shot, it takes nothing but a few button presses to put them behind you. (on a side note most indies are released in better shape then BF4)
Delay, layoff. These two words were not the ones I wanted Sony to trumpet every couple of weeks. Still happy with my purchase of the PS4. Hopefully these choppy waters are behind them by summer. Driveclub is still exciting, though that excitement is being watered down by the bad news every other week.
Thanks for the review. I liked the original on ps1. I was hoping this would be a bit better than it is. Hopefully in a month I can get it for a bit cheaper.
@BornOfEvil lol there's an idea many would secretly hope for. But on the serious side I would love to see this in an upcoming Ghost Recon game. May just be me, but I think future soldier and the gunsmith aspect would be really cool. Thanks for the updates.
So here in the frigid northern climate of canada, with our dollar dropping like our temperature, and our favorite consoles price rising. We will be paying about $2000 for this thing when it comes out. It looks amazing and it's very exciting, but I'm concerned the price may be a concern.
With the implementation of the rarity factor for ps4, I now have a fascination with trophy hunting. I'm hoping that this list isn't complete. Kojima is fond of surprises and ruse's, maybe we will all get a little platinum surprise in the coming weeks.
Also let's not forget the great Barry and his form of broken English. Barry to Jill as he hands her a lock pick (you the master of unlocking!). Ahhhh good times

Going back to finish Wolfenstein, and tie up some loose ends in AC 4. Clear up that old backlog before I get Shadow of Mordor, and Dragon Age.
Re: PS4 Takes the Gadget of the Year Gong at the T3 Awards
This is well deserved. I also loved the company balance sheet jab at the end very witty.
