@CaptainWow what problem? I cleared that fort and beat the boss in maybe five minutes, and I've been playing this super casually since launch. I think I'm only around 50 hours and chapter 6 at this point.
Wolverine is going to have to do something different to stand out for me. Im not particularly into marvel to start with , and I just feel like there's not a lot left in the genre of game to do anything we haven't seen quite a few times at this point. Theyre kind of limited on narrative as well. But maybe they prove me wrong.
I like horizon, played both at launch. The second one was very impressive graphically but I just didn't feel as fondly about it when it ended as I did the first game. I'd be willing to bet this game doesn't meet Sony's internal expectations. It's trying to appeal to two different audiences and ends up not grabbing either.
@Titntin I've wondered this since they started showcasing the engine before the game really had hype. Was their goal to use the game to market the engine they could now license out? Other devs could make some really great games with this , and I'd say it could be a real competitor to other big engines if it's not that hard to develop with.
This one has always seemed interesting enough to me. I'll probably pick it up close to release as long as no big issues come out. I appreciate devs and publishes breaking out and trying different things than they're known for.
Is this the best selling 6/10 of all time? The game was mostly fine at launch. The improvements are welcome , but in the context of how massive the game is , they are minor.
Played it at launch on Series X. My first Bethesda game was Morrowind. I agree they peaked with Skyrim in some ways. Oblivion and Fallout 3 are probably the best all around. But Starfield just didn't have that magic. After 60 hours I just didn't really enjoy it the same way as past Bethesda games. I put hundreds into the other games they released prior.
@lazarus11 yea, I'm close to 30 hours and will prob wrap up chapter 3 tonight. And I've left a lot of quests unanswered. I did mange to beat the quarry boss before I beat the reed devil, bust still haven't liberated the quarry completely.
@IOI not sure what the deal is with scores. I'd definitely say the game deserves an 8 when compared to similar games. The story and quest lines are no worse than something Bethesda writes. The tech performance is better than games like Dragons dogma 2. If you enjoyed any of the games Crimson Desert draws inspiration from you will most likely have fun with this game. It's not perfect, but I think the consensus from people actually playing the game is really good.
@Ainu20 exactly. It seems like the majority here have never done actual business. Theyre guessing what you're willing to pay. If you don't like the price , don't buy. No one is forced to buy a game at a price they don't like. People complain about these business tactics but never buy games at launch price, and then cry about devs being closed because they didn't make enough sales at launch.
@DennisReynolds you don't have to hold x, tap once to jog , and double tap to sprint. No hold. For as many things as you're able to do in this game idk if I could come up with much better control scheme myself. If they allow controller mapping I'd probably leave it alone.
@ErrantRob that makes sense. I'm old enough to remember. Crimson Desert's controls aren't that bad. If I could pick a few things for devs to address , controls wouldn't be top 5 even. I'm enjoying the game though. The pacing of the first several hours could use some work to have more mainstream appeal. It's definitely a little slow.

Re: Steelrising, GreedFall PS5 Dev Spiders Is Reportedly Soon to Close
This sucks. I really liked the first Greedfall. Played at launch bc there wasn't much coming out at that time, and enjoyed it flawed as it was.
