Pre-orders for Pokémon developer Game Freak's newest PS5 title, Beast of Reincarnation, will supposedly go live in the near future, and you may not need to pay quite as much money for it as you were probably expecting to.
The ever-reliable Dealabs leaker BillBil-Kun has shared some details ahead of the public reveal — which shall apparently take place today — claiming Beast of Reincarnation is a $60 video game. It's currently on course for a PS5 launch on 4th August 2026.
A standard edition will reportedly be $60 and a Deluxe Edition offering a variety of in-game extras costs $70. The things you get in the Deluxe Edition, according to BillBil-Kun, are:

- Black & Brown Shiba Skins for Koo
- "Oni's Hat" for Emma
- Emma's sword "Big Dipper"
- 100,000 Amber (in-game currency)
- A number of vegetable seedlings
Here's the official setup from Game Freak:
Set in a post-apocalyptic Japan, humanity's only hope lies with Emma, an outcast shunned from society for her affliction, and Koo, the blighted dog. Together, they embark on this expansive adventure in this one-person, one-dog action RPG.
It's claimed pre-orders will go live today, so all this information should be made official in the coming hours. Should that happen, we'll update this article with any additional news from the studio. Do you like the look of Beast of Reincarnation, and are you more interested at a $60 price point? I hope it's on the cheaper side because I personally haven't been blown away with anything they have shown off so far, just seems like a lesser Nier Automata clone...
Thinking more on it, this is the type of game that would benefit from releasing an early demo.
I love everyone calls it Game Freak's next game, when they've gone on record and said it's really not.
It's Pokémon developer Game Freak's small team of producers managing numerous other studios to make a game.
Which seemingly makes a better game than they actually can. Though most of their in house non Pokémon games were also not exactly glowing.
This one has always seemed interesting enough to me. I'll probably pick it up close to release as long as no big issues come out. I appreciate devs and publishes breaking out and trying different things than they're known for.
. I still don’t understand exactly what this game is so a demo would be fab.
I look forward to this game very much, hope it won't be 10 hours or less.
I like what I’ve seen of this one, but I do second the need for a demo. Is it bad if I almost feel like I need to play a demo before I buy games these days? Maybe I’m tired of wasting my money?
@Oram77 With the exception of Little Town Hero, Game Freak's non-Pokemon games in the digital era all got demos so there's a good chance of a demo happening.
