Mass Effect: Andromeda's Marketing Machine Finally Kicks Into Gear with a Good Trailer

And it's the launch one

Now you see, if Mass Effect: Andromeda had been revealed with a trailer like this, we wouldn't have had to rag on the game's marketing for the past year and a half. EA and BioWare have left it late, but we finally have a great trailer to get us hyped for the upcoming release. Why the heck has it taken this long?

Head shaking aside, this video's got the lot: a fitting song, a load of cool looking clips, and bags of style. Without a doubt, it gets the blood pumping a lot better than concept art, vague BioWare employee tweets, and obviously unfinished gameplay teasers. Andromeda really isn't far away now - it launches for PlayStation 4 on the 21st March in North America and the 23rd March in Europe.

Pre-ordered and paid for months ago and its nearly here!! May have to wait a week or two to play as its a Bioware game so wait for the inevitable patches LOL

Really looking forward to it...

@ShogunRok - I would say after The Witcher and Horizon the RPG bar has been raised. I'm really hoping BioWare brings their A game.

I will be finding out day one.

@BAMozzy I second that. I feel like waiting a couple of weeks for some patches is the way to go here. The hardware specs they're requiring for the PC version to run at 1080/30 is quite a bit more than what's under the hood of a PS4 or Pro. Something tells me Bioware doesn't have a very firm grasp of the Frostbite engine.....

@Splat Indeed. I thought The Witcher 3 could never be bested but, my word, Horizon comes very close.

I'm not buying Andromeda at launch because I want Persona 5 which is out the following week. Plus, the fact that it looks like Inquisition in space has me wary.

Watching the IGN First video "Touring the Tempest and Meeting the Crew " right now. I'm not usually the one to harp on those things but I seriously can't get over how bad the human character models look like. Terrible hair, wierd expressions and lips movement, dead eyes...I don't wanna even compare it to the level of Witcher 3 or Horizon, in places it arguably looks worse than Inquistion (again, just talking about the character models, environments look fine). I know the crew here made a little fun of it during the last podcast but man...I feel like it's getting worse the more we see.
