I like to play games rather than sit around all day on social media complaining about them so yes I'll be playing it just as soon as it finishes installing. Just got it today. I also like to discover games for myself instead of letting random people online tell me if i should or shouldn't like a game.

Is it just me or do gamers bitch too much? Everytime a new game comes out, especially one with overblown high expectations it's all boo this and hiss that. God forbid anyone should try to have a little fun. Hell I've enjoyed games that alot of people hated. I guess I'm more tolerant of less than perfect games and i still find enjoyment in the hobby.

Loved astros playroom so looking forward to this! Probably my favorite 3D platformer in a good long while!

Definitely considering it but not sure i wanna drop 70 dollars just to have it on day 1. It's nice that's It's not another star wars game where you play as a jedi. That's a bit overused. I've never played a ubisoft game i didn't like so I'm sure I'll have a decent time.

What was it like 10 years ago when they showed that trailer? Sure feels like it. All i remember was the cursing and it felt forced like they were trying to look edgy.

I think they might have mentioned something about New Silent hill games but they probably meant for mobile LOL. Yeah Konami sucks these days.

I just hope whatever Metal gear they put out can be done without Kojima. We all know he ain't coming back.

They need to hurry up and tell us if MGS master collection volume 2 is coming. Surely they wouldn't miss an opportunity to remove MGS 4 from it's PS3 prison. I would suspect It would include Peace walker and MGS 5 as well.

Yeah sometimes it just wasn't meant to be. Like alot of movies that get cancelled. Game probably would have sucked or failed expectations anyway from the looks of it.

Development hell. That trailer feels like forever ago. What was it maybe 5 years ago or more? Guess it's lost in videogame purgatory along with Mega man legends 3. 😉

Yeah I'll do that soon. I kinda had to put my gaming on hold around the time of it's release do to some unfortunate events in my life. Mainly the sudden loss of my father but I've finally got the time now.

Guys quick question, i assume this game pretty much assumes that you've played the first part of the remake and shouldn't be played stand alone right? I still have yet to finish the first part. I still wish they hadn't split it into multiple releases. I mean on PS1 i get that it was spread across 3 discs but these are modern times with games that are over 100 gigs. They couldn't get the whole FFVII on one disc?

I haven't got around to playing FF VII intergrade yet so I'll probably start very soon. Then I'll get started on the next part. For anyone who's already played the remake at what point in the story of the original PS1 game does rebirth pick up?

This is a very good GBA game! It's alot like Ninja Gaiden or Shinobi. I'd call it a hidden gem for sure! I'll definitely check out this new version.

Aren't they kinda on a downward spiral anyway? I mean the last time anyone really was talking about an xbox system was was the 360. Xbox one had the second worst name in history next to the Wii and remember the reveal? It was all, Tv,TV, TV, TV, and more TV!

X series came out after and people still never heard of it. Doesn't even sound like a game system.

I'm still waiting on that ultimate system that basically plays stuff from every company to ever make a videogame. I mean when people had dvd players or VCRs still in their house we didn't have to have a separate player for each movie from a different studio. Why do different games from different companies require a separate machine?

At least people can finally find PS5's now. Had to get mine from a seller online for 600 bucks. The dark times have passed!

I meant multi-player in the modern God of war games which would be down right stupid.

I never give a damn about multi-player in largely single player games anyway. You want multi-player play call of duty or something. What's next multi-player for God of war or some crap?

Are all costumes for Jason going to be unlocked and will those annoying repeating cutscenes going to be skippable so you don't have to rewatch them everytime you fail? any word on the switch version getting a final update?

This game could have been something special. Instead it's just a great idea poorly executed and ultimately a failure.

I thought quitality was like in MK deception i think where you could do a fatality on yourself.

I haven't been following FF 16 much. Please tell me it's not an MMO rpg. Loved FF 15 mostly. I was so devastated when FF 11 and 14 were MMOs and what's up with the FF 13 hate? I thought that trilogy was pretty solid!

As long as the unlocks don't require actual money. The new system should be get good get goodies. Just like the good old days. Kick ass at game and you get cool stuff. It's how we did it before all this DLC crap and it worked fine then.

So which games will be on volume 2? I assume MGS 4, Phantom pain hopefully the complete version that includes ground zeroes and maybe peace walker?

When reviewers say unfair boss battles i always wonder if they really mean unskilled boss battles. Maybe the reviewer just couldn't hack it because they stink. I know there are cases where a game is just cheaply difficult but that's not always the games fault.

I recently played through this on my modded Nes classic and it's definitely the best of the Nes FF games!

So does everyone still hate this game or has it gained a bit of a cult following? I definitely remember thinking okay why am i spending so much time playing as this other extremely unlikable person? Where the hell is Ellie? I kept asking myself while struggling to hold my interest until the end.

Ultimately i decided it's still good but yeah i was not loving alot of it.

I stopped caring about this the second i saw that first trailer. Just scrap it. We'll always have the original.

I liked it but there wasn't enough Joel and Ellie. It felt like a side story. The whole thing with Bill kinda caught me by surprise. I guess it was implied in the game but somehow i missed that. Nothing wrong with it mind you it just completely flew over my head. Episode 4 looks like it'll be action packed so I'm ready for that!

Maybe but i really picked that name because I'm not into console wars. I just play whatever game looks cool on whatever system it happens to be on. I started with Nintendo but if it's a videogame I'll play it so truegamer. The 79 is the year i was born. 😊

The music is decent but the graphics are too cutesy for my Ninja tastes. I like my Ninjas with a more serious and dark tone.

These Pro systems are stupid anyway. Just wait for the damn true upgrade! Can't believe people are still hoping for a switch pro. Hell the next Nintendo console Can't be all that far away in the first place. If you got your pro whatever system you'd have it a year and realize you wasted your money cause the real next gen machine was right around the corner. Nobody ever asked for a Snes Pro or a PS2 pro. They just waited until the real successor came out.

This game is so getting canceled just watch. Right along with Beyond good and evil 2.

It was great! They really nailed the clickers! This episode was really creepy. If i had one gripe it would be maybe that it's a little too faithful to the source material. Having played the game multiple times i already know what's coming in practically every scene.

Also i hope Joel and Ellie will start getting into a bit more action and less sneaking and walking next episode. Throw a grenade or a molotov cocktail or something and burn those ugly things! Joel needs to use a shiv once in a while or pick some locks. I hope we see him upgrading his weapons too.

It would be cool if we see Ellie finding some savage starlight comics along the way or taking a joke break once every so often.

Yeah copys of last of us 2 are dirt cheap now. The remake of the original on PS5 is a whopping 70 dollars!

I've always been more fond of darker more grim stories in movies and games so last of us 2 fit right in with my tastes. That was some dark stuff in that game!

I'm a little worried for the series going forward though. If the rumors of a third game are true will it continue from the first two, be a complete reboot or will they somehow try connecting it to the show?

Did the second game sell well? I know it got ripped apart by alot of people but as a game it was still well made. Aside from the obvious discrepancies about the plot.

I watched the first episode today and it was great! The scene from the infamous opening in the game was faithfully recreated with just the right intensity and emotion. I felt the same way watching it in the show as when i first picked up the game! I'm gonna have to do another replay of the series now. It's been a while. Pedro pascal nailed Joel and Bella Ramsey wasn't bad either. 👍

Is it just me or did anyone else see the trailer and think the remake really doesn't look all that different from the original? Maybe I'm remembering wrong or maybe the original just looked that good. Heck PS3 doesn't even seem that long ago and the graphics of alot of games still look amazing even today. I'm probably gonna do a replay of the trilogy before i check out the remake.

I'll just be playing the games. Let the non gamers watch the show. I'm sure they'll enjoy it without the hassle of having to press buttons on a silly game controller or needing any skill.

The PS5 looks ridiculous no matter what way it's set up. Whoever thought it was cute to make it resemble the roman numeral V while displayed vertically was an idiot. The stand is required either way. How dumb is that? I wouldn't want it vertically because guess what? In that position it's top heavy and could more easily be knocked over and i Definitely don't want that happening. They need to redesign this thing and ASAP! Time for the slim version.

Still have yet to see any in stores but i actually did finally aquire one through an App called hotstock! It was suggested to me by one of this sites users. I downloaded it a week before Christmas and i got an alert for an online store selling them and i jumped on it! I now know the joys of playing Astros playroom and I'm currently working my way through the Demons souls remake!
