Hi, I bought the F4 GotY edition a good while ago but never installed it at the time, but with all the noise surrounding the show, I installed it.
I got the same issues as you, but I got it working by: Unplugging my Ps5 for about 30 secs (made sure all back ups etc were done), and reinstalling the base game and the Nuka world and Far harbour dlcs. I left the other dlcs well alone and it now works fine. Reddit was my friend on this one

Well, just updated the console and thought I'd browse the store - as you do.
Anyway I saw Injustice2 Legendary edition for a little over a fiver and got it.
Grabbed some lunch and checked the download, and bizarrely it downloaded the game TWICE on my external drive. Neither worked.
Deleted both copies of Injustice 2 and restarted the console.
Installed Injustice 2. Error.
Deleted, reinstalled, it now works.
Gotta love me some stability updates

I'm playing an absurd amount of 'Brotato' at the moment. Exactly NOT the game to show off a £450 console. Damn good fun though.

I'm finishing up the Warhammer 40,000 dlc on PowerWash Simulator which I may upload to YouTube. May check out the latest update in GT7. Other than that, I'll probably be helping the kids get some Mother's Day stuff for next week

I actually preferred Part 2 to 1. My only problem with Part 2 in my eyes, was the games ending was a bit bloated and went on a bit too long. Also, regarding Abby, if someone killed my father, you bet your ass I'm going for revenge too

For me, gaming has never been better than the PS360 times.
This gen has been terrible. PS players hoping for Xbox games, Xbox players hoping to just have new hardware to look forward to. Meanwhile, if Nintendo get it right with their new gen machine - and i hope it does, it will clean up

@UltimateOtaku91 Yeah, Asda have this for £5 on PS5 and SX. They also have The last NFS and EA PGA games for SX for the same price. PS5 versions are dearer though.

My series S broke last year not long after warranty expired (I wouldn't pay MS excessive repair fee), but luckily, i still have a One S. I still occasionally play Halo MCC and FH4 (best racer ever), so other than those I'd like another Ghostwire Tokyo and Fable

A remaster of the original 3 Uncharted games and for the first time on home console, Golden Abyss. Y'know what? I wouldn't be surprised.

I've got a mixture of both.
Mainly physical discs where possible, but digital if its cheap - I just bought the Batman Arkham collection for a little over £6 the other day on PSN.
I own 2 switch games (physical),
and 20 digital xbox games which my kid uses

I own plenty of Cds and DVDs/Blu Rays and will continue to buy them. So, jog on sunshine

I use Game to buy Star Wars Retro and Vintage collection action figures. 😁

@Godot25 I work in retail and sell these boxes and I can tell you the Series S trounces the X in sales. Its not even close. We used to carry 20+ in stock at a time but reduced this to around 10 to make room for faster moving stock (PS5 and Switch). Where the xbox does compete is controller sales. There's a lot of controller collectors out there

@Godot25 the Series S and X is in no way a 50/50 split. The Series S outsells the X by around 4 to 1.
On topic, I think a lot of people have taken advantage of the price cutting of PS5 and X, because, primarily, it's been cheaper to buy the hardware that way, thus inflating CoD sales more.

I like reading @Titntin and @themightyant posts, always balanced, fair and no ounce of fanboyism to be found. Kudos to you both.
Being platform agnostic is always the way to go, even if we do favour certain ones over the others.
Anyway, as its spooky season, think I'll play Until Dawn and try to actually finish the damn thing...

Tbh, outside of me getting Spidey 2 next week for my birthday, this gen has been pretty slim pickings as far as PS exclusives go - at least for me. My PS5 really is just a glorified PS4 Pro 2. 😐

I still capture my gameplay videos from the PS5 and upload them to my youtube channel as is. It's very 'rough n ready' but it gets the job done until I can afford something more 🙂

@Infern0 i had an insane amount of fun on the first PvZ.. platinumed 1 & 3 and only got about 70% on the second one. I'm really surprised the Bioshock games weren't in my top3 playtime tbh

@KaijuKaiser i prefer my videogames physically yeah. I beat Hogwarts Legacy a couple of days ago and sold it in Cex earlier today and got £19 for it, can't do that with a digital game on console. Nothing 'weird' about that

Urgh, if this is the common theme going forward, this will be my last gen of gaming. This game im not too bothered about, but i was definitely getting Alan Wake 2 on disc until their announcement.

@lacerz yeah i clean it every couple of months- just to be sure. Hope it doesn't turn out like my series s and die just after a year

@Titntin re: controllers, i way prefer the xbox controller for comfort, but agree that if you put the slightest pressure on it, it creaks and squeaks & feels like its on the verge of breaking. The dualsense on the other hand gives me so much pain in my right hand, its made me consider switching to xbox permanently...

I got Ghostwire Tokyo for fathers day last year, and can't stress enough what a great game it is, loads of stuff to do too. I still go back to it just now and again just to wander around 😁

Um, well, I work at a very well known store, and can confidently say, sales and interest of the PS5 are still exceptionally high, Series S is also doing well, X not so much and Switch is still a license to print money. Anyways, Happy Christmas or whichever religious holidays you all take part in, and enjoy whatever gaming system you've got. Peace

So, paying £480 for the console, 4 full priced games at £70 each (£280) through their store, a bare minimum of PS essential @ £50 per year and the time it takes to unlock 120+ 'rare' trophies= equals priority customer service? An outlay of £810!!! 🤣

Resident evil? Pffft. Tbh I'm just glad Cobra Kai S5 is on next month!
