@Grawlog Console games are far cheaper to produce than PC games. Yet we will easily pay double the price for retail and digital. Plus we are forced to pay to play online.
When it comes to DLC, it's pure greed. Videogames these days are cut into pieces. You have the pre order DLC, the deluxe edition, the season pass, the exclusive PS4/Xbox content, the exclusive store content and on top of that a microtransation system for the online. Its ridiculous.
Yet games like Dark Souls aren't nearly as bad as the rest. They usually deliver a good main game and the DLC expands it. Plus they improve and expand the base game regardless.

Re: Sony: PS4 Remasters Help Us Open the Door to Future Fans
Makes no sense, if the point is to introduce new fans into the series why not release a god of war collection instead of just the 3rd game?
Re: The Order: 1886 Has More Gameplay Mechanics Than Any Single Game Usually Has
I hate when they lie to our faces.
Re: Talking Point: How Important Is Game Length?
Never understood this "I can't finish 100 hours games" mentality. People act like you have to do it in one seating and without save files.
Re: Talking Point: How Important Is Game Length?
5 hours, majority is cutscenes and QTEs. Actual gameplay, when youre not walking by hallways, is linear cover based shooting.
How important is length for this type of game with no replayability or online components? Very freaking important, especially for 70€
Re: We Need Different Types of Games, Says The Order: 1886 Developer
Yes, we need different types of games.
Key word: GAMES
Re: Store Preview: The Order: 1886, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, Q*Bert Rebooted
@WARDIE Hype doesn't ruin good games, its there to sell mediocre games via pre orders.
Re: Store Preview: The Order: 1886, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, Q*Bert Rebooted
Avoiding the order like the plague, might pick DOA but bloodborne is around the corner.
Re: Cupid's Baying for Blood in PS4 Exclusive Until Dawn
Typical modern horror flick with occasional button prompts. Yay.

Please help make Ito's new monster come alive on the PC/PS4.
Re: Just Cause 3's First Trailer Is Far More Serious Than It Needs to Be
Disagree, its a good teaser to introduce new fans into the series.
Re: Ready at Dawn: Concerns About PS4 Exclusive The Order: 1886 Are Natural
People seem to forget that games during SNES and Megadrive era didn't exactly held your hand.
We are talking games you would have to play for weeks to master and beating some of them was a life achivement.
These days its press button to reach next level. No wonder Dark Souls became huge, actual gamers have been seeking a challenge for decades.
Re: The Order: 1886 Is Just 'Touching the Surface' of the PS4's Power
Yeah sure... That's why the game is 30 fps and has black bars to reduce resolution.
Re: Ready at Dawn: Concerns About PS4 Exclusive The Order: 1886 Are Natural
Yes, you took a risk by making a cover based third person shooter with a ton of QTEs on it. Groundbreaking stuff...
