@Rafie Thats a tricky one, it is true that everything is the same as the orginal but with a new important component which is the new mechanics (building) which by its own at least deserves to be nominated but perhaps not winning IMO.

@Rafie To me a GoY should be a well crafted and innovative game from a gameplay and narrative perspective, something really fresh. SM2 is just a sequel that does not have all those key components to become a GoT plus the theme of the game is 0% new or original.

If Spider-Man 2 is nominated something it's wrong with the gaming industry lol. My choice goes to BG3

excellent strategy, first target the game for any super fans that will buy no matter what and when the fever is down make the update for the 60fps to convince the other gamers 😂. I’ll pull the trigger if gets down to 15$

I have 15hrs on xbox ss with gamepass but I had to jump to PS5, to have proper graphics and better controller 😈

Didn't understand very well. There's the 30fps mode which focuses on visuals etc... and then performance mode at 30fps as well? maybe I'm getting this wrong but what's the difference? if this game is locked at 30fps I'll pass =D

Literally this is the best game I've ever played since NES period.

Dragon Quest is my fav franchise and the reason I sank into video games in the first place but I Iearned to be patience with they releases rythm so I guess I’m just happily waiting for this to come but when it does oh boy!!

It’s not only that, gaming industry is like any other industry out there, they release a v0 (most profitable product) with the bare minimum to measure success and collect data. Once they analized the data they decide whether to continue or not. It could be a live service or not but in the end its all about profits, they don’t care about the gamers community at all, take a look at the latest port from Rockstar 🤷‍♂️

Well, there are no specs at sight but regardless of that I’m not spending 50$ + taxes (in my country) for a simple PS4 port haha lol. I’m telling you these guys are a bunch of greedy people. Will get it at $15 top.

@DarkHitman82G Totally me, once I realized the mechanics and lore I decided to resell it (20 hrs). I don't think I will miss it tbh.

It is because it's a really repetitive and boring game and gamers experienced it and that's it, there's no other reason. They are trying so hard to convince the business and us otherwise but the reality is that people don't enjoyed it that much, me and my friends included.

@Typharius Agree, I feel like people tend to like whatever is out there and follow trends, tbh personally I’ve started super late in gaming and in the past 5 years I’ve tried hundreds of games and is really hard for me to say at least 5 REALLY good games (at least for my taste) everything else is not that good or boring. and btw Im 37yo too and let me tell you this is the best time to be alive

I dont care either, whats interesting to me is that on every discussion or comment on internet around this topic, it seems like gamepass is the only valid (for them)/heavy argument they have to defend xbox as a console since theres a complete lack of quantity and/or quality of games.

Delay the game anytime you want, it will need a day one patch anyway and something will be broken, thats the standard nowdays except for Zelda 😌😅😂. Im starting to buy games when they are 3 to 6 months old specially to i) let them fix and improve ii) Release more content iii) Price drop. I have a big backlog anyway

Since I believe is not region locked I’ll get the disc version to resell afterwards

Serious question to you all: Why do people complain so much about having to download a day 1 patch? just download the content and thats it right? I mean yes maybe it will take a couple of extra hrs but I dont see why to complain for something like that honestly.

This is great but they should enforce the publisher to actually add language information first in all games like Nintendo does, its a pain to look outside to see if a game is in my language 😅

I hope they’ll add more languages some time in the future, if not mods here I go 😌
