The Game Awards 2024 is upon us. Roughly 24 hours (and a bit) from the posting of this article, we'll all be sat down watching Geoff Keighley's big show... or will we?
The annual event seems to rack up record viewers every year, but we want to know if you're actually tuning in this time around.
For what it's worth, the reception to each show tends to be quite negative — at least amongst hardcore gaming enthusiasts, like many of you reading this right now.
Over the last few years in particular, we've come to the conclusion that the the event is simply too long; it's undeniably padded out with industry-driven fluff and advertisements over the course of two or three hours. And for us unfortunate souls here in Europe, that means having to stay up into the early hours of morning.
