We did stop them with the NFT nonsense, so we can make them stop with AI BS. This kind of "opinion" is a direct response to how people are not accepting AI.
The bond IP does not have the same appeal to me as it had many years ago, but IO Interactive is an amazing developer, and this name alone makes me interested in this game.
Still 6 months to go and this looks more polished than stuff the gets released. Framerate will for sure be improved in the coming months. I find it quite refreshing that a developer is showing the game with its flaws, and not putting loads of cuts and edits to mask them.
US citizens getting what they wanted. Most videogame nerds are conservative people, so good for them. For others that did not wish for all this fascist nonsense, I'm sorry for you, hang in there.
This game commits the biggest sin a game can commit... it is boring. The first one had a good balance of interaction, gameplay and cinematic, this one is just plain boring. Keep pressing forward, hearing voices and seeing raytraced effects.
@3Above It plays modern games, switch one games and is portable... so yeah, it does have reasons why it would be more compelling to some people than the ps5.
Remember Vicarious pitched the 3+4 remake and Activision refused it. Guess this was a cheaper version. Activision clearly is aiming for a quick buck with this sequel.
I mean... look at the cast of S02... they "hollywoodified" the supposed diversity the game was striving for. I have no problem characters looking different than the game, but the fact that it just feels like changing characters to be more of standard notions of pretty is just poor.
I mean, not only the parkour, but the immersion of the narrative was a trademark of AC, which is missing since Origins. NPC animations are horrendous, especially in dialogue, and everything feels meaningless. AC feels like an amalgamation of systems with no real structure or soul behind them.
I mean, after the ***** show that Concord was, seeing all those cancellations could have a positive ending... they will stop pursuing this horrible trend and focus on studios real qualities.
@Oram77 It actually is a really good assassin's creed game. It just got too much hate because it followed Unity, which was a disaster. Syndicate is a way better paced and executed than Unity.
Ps5 pro would be great if the ps5 had a price drop and the pro took its place, like ps4pro. As it is, the improvements are so granular that doesn't justify the steep price. And what is the logic of saying it improves your library when you have to spend even more for a disk drive?
The RT on Hogwarts legacy was never really that good even on a High-end PC. The fact that it keeps everything else the same but adds more blurry and shaky reflections with the same res and framerate is a little disappointing.
This was not a bad game. The problem is: this was a game no one wanted. There is a saturation of Live-Service games, and it gets even worse when it is not free-to-play, and it looks so similar to other f2p games. The quality was there in every aspect of it, but the demand was not.
I'm starting to avoid reading stuff on this website. Sony console is my main gaming hardware, I love Playstation franchises and all... but the way this page is trying to promote the Pro feels unprofessional, fanboy-ish and makes me question the promotional money influx it gets from Sony.
Please, try to be more neutral and direct on your news or comments about this console. It is looking amateur and a sellout.
@ZeroSum I hope so... Open-world games seem to get me bored for sequels. It feels bloat on top of bloat. I feel the second game already suffered a lot from this.
The original missed the mark on what made Rare original platformers so great. Really hoping this remaster/remake will fix those design mistakes. Those feathers with horrible placements, weird level progression and repetitive/redundant habilites, for example.
Wish they would get done with Horizon. We've had Horizon 1 + DLC, Horizon 2 + DLC, Horizon VR, Horizon Remake and Lego Horizon. There is just too much Horizon.
Well... the original game DLC was fine... just fine. So I actually dont mind the sequel (which is inferior to the original game anyway) not getting dlcs.
Games usually have a day-one patch, and they keep getting optimizations and fixes as well as 3 months after launch. You are literally paying more to do free QA and beta-testing.
@RBMango Gotta agree that it feels like it was not the actress fault, because she shows depth and range in many scenes. It feels sometimes she was deliberately directed to act different than the original just for the sake of being different, not really better.
AOD was a bad game not because of concept, but because it as one-year pushed too early. If they had time, things would be great. There are almost no bad concepts in the game. Maybe this remake can make things right?
This doesn't look nor feel like a significant upgrade, honestly. The main reason I would like a sequel is if they changed how the horribly single-threaded engine works. Performance on the first game tanked hard no matter resolution on PC and they "fixed" it on console by adding a ridiculous content limit.
This is purely the consequence of whoever greenlit this project. The game overall didn't seem broken or poorly made. It just wasn't a needed nor desired game by anyone. The marked is flooded with games of this genre and with that art style. It should never have been approved.
@get2sammyb I mean, this article is practically ignoring all negative points that they pointed, like flickering, shimmering, performance-mode settings with higher res... It is not about the overload of reporting, but the overload of biased reports that ignore the negatives and also had a misleading comparison that an editor here made up on photoshop and then replaced the comparison after people took notice.
Wait a sec... where did that FF image came from? It is not in any place in the article mentioned as the source of the news. And it says in the news that cnet (the source) is the only on to have tested the ps5pro.

Re: Could You Be Persuaded to Watch a Call of Duty Movie?
If it doesn't feature a machine-gun-wielding Nicki Minaj, it isn't a good adaptation.

@UltimateOtaku91 yeah, this got me confused... is it a remaster of the remake that was called a remaster, or is it a remaster of the original game?

Re: Rumour: God of War Will Tackle Egyptian Mythology in Next Game
@Atreus97 There is a lot of pre-production before casting, so actually casting is a good sign.

HP is great, Stanley Parable was amazing on PC, and SS... it is now at the price value.

the amount of word bending in this headline and news trying to hype the tame graphical upgrade of a $700 console is the most amazing part of this.
