There is so many reasons we live in the stupidest timeline but it being called Playstation and not a Duracell wannabe ass name like that is not one of them.
@BrettAwesome
Days Gone was a mediocre game that didn't sell well therefore a sequel wasn't greenlit. End of story. This wasn't some ridiculous conspiracy. The fact they even acknowledge/tribute the character at all is something they didn't have to do but did. Way to spin a positive to somehow an insult to defend this total douchebag who has a long history of making insufferable comments.
Everything I see about this guy is douchey and insufferable. Fact he constantly calls everything "woke" unironically is everything you need to know about what kind of personality he is.
@TheArt I hate isometric viewpoints especially when driving which is why I can't go back to the pre-3D GTA games. Navigating around is such a pain in the ass in them.
@Ralizah As games get more graphically and mechanically demanding budgets are going to balloon no matter how many corners you cut. This isn't a budgeting issue so much as a demand issue.
@EchoRange This whole game looks like an asset flip, it seems to have no coherent art style and like they just threw a bunch of assets and environments in because it looks pretty without accounting for how it all gels. I imagine this is what most Unreal 5 games will look like not made by AAA teams and I don't think I'm a fan of that.
@cburg Being sarcastic is seriously uncalled for as I have done nothing to provoke that crap so knock it off, Destiny has been going for 10 years now so obviously somebodies buying it.
@Leechmonger_DeS Microsoft's acquisition of Zenimax has been significantly more worthless than the Bungie deal was. Like it or hate it, at least Destiny makes money.
@B_Lindz
How much did they pay the actors, vfx team, set crew, etc? How long were the hours? I guarantee the pay wasn't much and the hours were longer than most work weeks in other first world countries. My points still stand.
@B_Lindz
That movie only cost 15 million because Japan severely underpays and overworks their employees in the film industry and unions are non-existent. I wish everyone would stop using that movie as some kind of gold standard. It's a good movie but the ethics behind it embodies everything wrong with the not just the Japanese film industry but Japanese work culture in general.
@Ravix I was thinking the exact same thing, rich people buying new bodies to live forever is literally the backdrop of Altered Carbon. That show deserved better.
@Xbox_Dashboard
"A game for everyone is a game for no one"
In regards to difficulty no. The more difficulty options a game has the better. You can make it as hardcore as you want to why would you care somebody you will never meet is playing a game in a less hardcore way than you are?
@Jamesblob The amount of gatekeeping among gamers is ridiculous. Who cares how other people play games? That's like being angry that people speedrun a game in 15 minutes that took you 40 hours to finish.
Why were you privately messaging minors in the first place? I don't care if nothing sexual happened, DM'ing underaged fans is just weird. Why do so many Youtubers and streamers do that?
This is officially the most petty garbage I have ever seen. Because a developer didn't show every single class in a gameplay demo they are throwing a giant hissy fit? Between this and the Stellar Blade costume meltdown it's no wonder gamers are so widely mocked right now. Snowflakes much?
@pyrrhic_victory Read the article closely, management tried to make it a linear game when it was early in development despite intending to be open world from the beginning and ultimately the developer had to scrap an entire years worth of work before finally getting the go ahead for the open world game they wanted.
@Realist
The uncomfortable truth for you is that physical sales pale in comparison to digital sales in this day and age. Plus physical has lower returns due to having to factor in costs of distribution and stores taking cuts, so economically it's making less and less sense as time goes on for companies to go physical especially as game development budgets continue to balloon.
@VatoLoco47 Maybe don't do that. The HD collection is controversial with SH fans due to the technical issues, bugs, and outright baffling changes to the art design.
@mrbone Dude no joke. Last of Us, Fallout, Cyberpunk, Arcane, even Twisted Metal is decent if you gel with it's sense of humor. We have been eating good lately.
@Max_the_German
It's more of an issue with the PS Store and how it verifies licenses then anything to do with Square or Bethesda. Because the PS Plus versions of games requires regular verification of the licenses due to only having access with your subscription it constantly makes upgrades freak out. Many games have had this issue and it's on Sony to fix it.
@ChrisDeku It's a bit more complicated than that. Nuclear fallout can remain immediately lethal for anywhere from 1 to 5 years depending on several factors and you would have many other problems in the aftermath long term such as a lack of widespread access to clean drinking water or the heightened levels of radiation exposure even long term seriously messing up birthrates. But this is a franchise that also features guns that shoot visible slow lasers, teleportation and androids that pass the Turing test using primitive 50s style tech so don't expect scientific accuracy.
Typically games are given ratings classifications when they are near the finish line of release. If it's speculated to be a late 2024 release, then why are we getting this rating at least 6 months in advance?
@Savage_Joe The PSP Go was released in 2009. Needless to say the landscape is VERY different 15 years later. If Steam Deck can be successful a digital Playstation handheld nowadays would probably sell for better or worse.
@AFCC I honestly wish COD had continued with this space/scifi approach. Infinite Warfare was unironically one of my favorite campaigns and there is plenty of directions you could go with the premise in future installments.
If I have to go from one end of the map to the other just to grab one collectible or complete one mission my ass is fast traveling no matter how good the game is. Ain't nobody got time for that.
