Re: Will Dragon Quest XI on PS4 Get the New Nintendo Switch Content? Square Enix Hasn't Decided Yet

OmegaYato

@AdamNovice Square said the Switch version would have exclusive content even before the PS4 version was released. Dragon Quest has been strong on Nintendo consoles, much like how Final Fantasy is strong on PlayStation consoles. Imagine how other gamers felt when PS4 versions of games got exclusive content. Just because you bought the game before everyone else doesn’t mean you’re entitled to whatever comes. They’re playing it smart. You forget how big portable gaming is in Japan. Even the 3DS version of the game has stuff the PS4 version doesn’t.

@NYJetsfan123 Trust me, he’s very childish. I made a list of games I considered to be the best and he went after every Nintendo & Xbox game, saying they aren’t worthy of anything because they’re garbage. In the same post he admitted he hasn’t played Nintendo since the PS1. Then he started making fun of me and another user because I said I don’t know about getting Cyberpunk 2077 because I get motion sickness from first person games. He may have been gaming since the 1980s but he sure doesn’t act like it.

I’m glad he thinks this way. Even though I got a PlayStation instead of Xbox this gen, I still respect Xbox because the 360 was terrific and I really hope they do well with the next system. I really like the idea of the adaptive controller, I never used it but it’s a great idea to make gaming more accessible. It’s too bad most of the PlayStation community consists of people that attack anything without the PlayStation brand on it, instead of just letting people enjoy whatever platform they chose.

Re: Feature: Why You Shouldn't Worry About PS5 Backwards Compatibility

@Jimmy_G_Buckets Because older games are games that wanted the player to have fun instead of having to make purchases just to enjoy things & they were complete. versus today’s games that are full of bugs that aren’t fixed until weeks after, dlc that’s probably unfinished stuff that they decided to wait and make extra bucks from, and QTE, not to mention how all you need to sell a game these days are pretty graphics and blood. At least in the West. Even indies have more soul to them.

@ShogunRok Where is it a fact that the Witcher 3 is the greatest game ever? You could’ve just let me comment & leave it there, not everyone will agree with lists. It’s probably the greatest game of 2015, but the greatest game ever? There’s only one game I know of that’s regarded as the greatest by critics & gamers.

@Nyne11Tyme the combat was not fun at all, for me fighting is more important than story in an action game & the combat was a mess. I also hated the leveling system because exp was poor & how ugly most of the armors were

@ShogunRok Factually the best? Not with that clunky gameplay. Don’t give me that crap, like you and other toxic fanbases don’t try to argue with facts everyday.

Re: Guide: Best PS4 RPGs

Persona 5 should be at the top. The Witcher feels more like an action adventure game with some RPG elements. Persona 5 & Dragon Quest 11 are more faithful to the RPG genre, but popularity wins.

@BAMozzy I explained to you why myself & others don’t want to play the game. So me and others are supposed to be persuaded by a developers word and buy a game that makes us feel uneasy? No. What you need to do is learn to respect someone else’s decisions instead of going off about it. I don’t care how big of a CDPR fan you might be. Yeah the developers made the game the way they wanted & but not everyone can enjoy it.
