Does it make me a bad person that you just made me realize that’s all I’ve ever really wanted from a Dragon Quest game?
I only play AAAA games, and Ubisoft have yet to say if this is one such. Why the silence? I have never played anything less than AAAA in my life, which means Skull and Bones remains the only video game I’ve ever been able to tolerate. Mere AAA Insomniac/Guerilla/Naughty Dog tripe is for peasants 🤮🤮🤮. No AAAA or above, no buy!!1!
@naruball No, you’re correct of course. I probably didn’t read the article carefully enough and hadn’t realized he’s violent. Certainly nobody should have to entrust him with their safety. It’s still sad to think of anyone so young being locked away for life though, short of actually committing murder.
What a waste. MI6 should hire the kid, buy him a TI-92 calculator, and aim him at Russia. He’d be performing a massive public service and probably enjoy himself more than screwing with video game publishers. Not that I condone what he’s done, it’s deplorable, but talk about failure to make proper use of an asset.

@Dezzy70 I think about 11 years from announcement to release is about right. I have such fond memories of that decade I spent getting hyped for Final Fantasy Versus XIII/XV. Brilliant marketing strategy, kept me from buying any other games from 2006-2017, and now it will be up to my grandkids’ grandkids to work through my backlog. I’ve already revoked their college savings accounts so they’ll have more time to focus on gaming.
@AndyKazama Poor Mike, he was only a week from retirement. They originally had dlc planned where his widow had to navigate signing up for health insurance after his death, but it was cancelled after being determined to be too horrifying for children.
They’ll somehow have to find time for the remake of the first third of their greatest game, Metroid Other M, Part I. I heard the classic game beloved by generations of children will now be in glorious dynamic HD (540p undocked*) with full analogue drift action!
Well that explains why the lead character keeps screaming the same thing over and over while his friends are trying to engage in combat operations and would probably prefer not to draw too much attention. Here I thought to myself, “how cool they finally made a Final Fantasy with a brain damaged protagonist”, but it turns out the code is just glitched.
