This makes sense. They really ran their course and made often less than mediocre games. Bound by Flames and The Technomancer were real stoinkers, Greedfall was the "potential" of the studio (still mostly bad though), and Steelrising was easily the most competently made game of theirs but also the most contained. Never got to the Greedfall sequel but it reviewed worth than the first? No thanks. They made games that a studio would just show up and make and never make another except they made 5. With a hurting Nacon, these guys are the obvious cut.
Yeah, couldn't play Space Marines 2 with the homies. Would load up the game and all but was telling me I need sub to Playstation Plus when we tried joining. Games bug'n
Can we get some real filmmakers on this one? Alex Garland would be fitting for this one (more than an Elden Ring joint). These directors make one commercial hit and the world is their oyster.
Who in the world was actually complaining, though? God forbid a mode/new way to play unlock after beating the game. I thought we liked unlocking things in games. I sure wish I had an end game maxed out character right out of the gate for every game that has ng+😂
Yeah, I'd rather play the new Rayman collection. This is kind of stinky. Why wouldn't they force Motion Twin's hand to work on multiple games or something to that effect?
@anoyonmus While those are awesome numbers for a self-financed production with a tiny budget like 3 million, it's the norm for almost everything out of Blumhouse. It's basically their mantra. Spend 5 million; make 25-50. I think I heard Mark is profit sharing, too, which is baller and rare. The numbers just aren't interesting on their own in the context of filmmaking. While I would guess good press junkets for the buzz, I would also guess that to translate into volume, but it's performing like a marketingless Blumhouse release. It's a weird film/perception I think.
@nessisonett Yeah, it's a strange instance. The film is also being celebrated like it's a first and like it's a smash hit critically or commercially. It's ostensibly a standard Blumhouse production which is rarely celebrated, and it's hardly the first "youtuber" joint. Maybe it's independence is of note?
It Takes Two isn't a better co-op game than Wo Long, Destiny, Sackboy, Granblue, Shredder's Revenge, Far Cry 6, or Human Fall Flat. That's such a crazy claim😂
Here I was thinking, "what a great use of AI, as a disstilled mood board for whatever little detail." Wait until people hear about literally every movie being made of this vibe from this movie, this action from this movie, and scene from this movie. Didn't a PNG of Assassin's Creed 4 make it's way in Uncharted 4 at release? Where's the hysteria around that? Plagiarism is sort of worse than lazy creation(or maybe not), that is if you wanna call it that. Sounds like this Expedition stuff didn't even make it in the final game. How are people not talking at the same level about this game not being an indie game more importantly. It wasn't published by Sandfall and no way has the spirit of an indie game. When the time comes, I fully expect CDPR's next game to get the same indie praise.
I like when we crunch at work. It's not completely painless in the moment, obviously, but it's also not totally unlike going to the gym. It's a pain and hurts, but those results sure are nice. I'd be shocked if those working on this game didn't think it was worth it.
Is this the first CoD completely driven by Microsoft? Or does this still have old Activision DNA? Such a shame. Always hoping for an exciting campaign at least. Oh well.
Not sure how possible it is because most platinum requirements are no more than 60ish (even 70 for this platinum is a lot), but it would've been sick to just have all 300 for the platinum. Not quite on the same level, but I always thought it was a cool move for From Soft to include the DLC trophies from PS3's Dark Souls 2 in the platinum requirements of the PS4 re-release.
@Dalamar Facts. They look more like a support studio in this matter everyday. I was very worried when Plat's named splashed up because we don't need them poisoning the great thing Team Ninja has going on. Plat's very lucky to be given the chance to team up.
Fortunately, the community is quite aware the 2K and EA sports games' servers are destined for disconnected 18ish months out from release. This time next year WWE 2K24's MyFaction severs will be inaccessible, too. The F1 games are brutal with how quickly the servers go down.
Hopefully, we get more granular data, like, I don't know - maybe how much time you spent in menus, how many deaths if applicable, how many games "beaten," most out of the norm game. Genre, time, and trophies are cool and all, but they've definitely got some strange data entries on all of us. It'd be cool to share some of that.
@B0udoir hey, I can confirm the PS Collection Monster Hunter World doesn't include Iceborne. I was wondering the same thing because the launcher graphic is Iceborne, so I'm like where is Iceborne?. But, no. You have to buy Iceborne, which I think goes on sale for 9.99USD all the time.
Games are entirely too cheap - makes no sense why they're so cheap compared to movies, music, and books. GTA6 is surely a $100-150 game. Shoot, The Witcher 3 was easily a $100 game. Vampire Survivors at $5 on PSN? That's easily a $20 game. I love the current price structure of games because I'm greedy and love having bunches of things I love, but if prices were to explore the possibilities or just trend upwards, I'd probably buy fewer titles. I'd then be pinched to make wiser purchasing decisions, but I'm not sure if that's a bad thing considering the presence of an ever grow backlog that will never be managed at this rate. Greed vs putting money more proportionally into where I put my time is a thought. Thoughts on thoughts.
Another great month! I usually spend probably close to $1000 dollars a year on games, but at this rate I'm not sure I'll even break $300 (ps+ included in that number😬).

Re: USA Bank Wants You to Pay $80 for GTA 6 So Other Devs Can Charge More Too
They should charge 60 and undercut the industry. That would be sick. Like Silksong! That was such a baller move of demanding space on the market.
