Not to forget that XVI had a way, way smoother development cycle and also not an expensive Movie, Anime and so on pre-launch (like XV) which bloated the budget. And with Sony giving them a big bag of money for development (and offering dev support) this looks even better for XVI.
A copy of FFXVI is also 10-20€ more expensive than XV

@atthegates The Timed exclusivity comes to an end (already rated for Xbox). Game will probably go to Gamepass next

@daveofduncan Well it wasn't tho because Sony is way more stingy with those Deals. And even then, Oddworld Soulstorm was a big flop aswell for the Studio and this was a Day1 PS+ Launch

Its probably an exclusive. MS certainly has enough money to pay Atlus for this. Tho this Game wasnt confirmed for GamePass btw. Only P3R and Tactics are included in Gamepass Day1

@UltimateOtaku91 They only release started development in 2021 tho so nah, not this year. Ghost of Sushi also was only in Mid 2020 + they worked on the Remaster and DLC afterwards. Factions 2 is seemingly in Dev hell too and who knows how far along their new IP is. AAAA Sony Games take 4-5 years nowadays sadly lol. They have just way too few SP Game Studios for a steady flow of First Party Games. Closing some of those few didnt help either.

@Jaz007 All the multiplatform Games were announced as such. The Games I mentioned have exclusivity with Quest VR. Meta always had a lot of exclusive Games because they actually spend money so Its not surprising

@UltimateOtaku91 Attack on Titan is Quest exclusive and so are other massive VR Games like Powerwash Simulator and Assassin's Creed. Sony should maybe try spending some money to get some Games onto VR2 lol
