Re: Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 Dev Ninja Theory's Next Game Has Reportedly Been Greenlit

I played the first thinking it might be interesting but ehhh, what a slog. I understand that a game about mental illness isn't supposed to be fun or a good time but it basically was about lining up symbols in the environment while endless chatter repeated lines like "You can't do it!....Yes, you can!!!"
I'll pass on this when it gets a PS5 release to try to recover its development costs.

Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Reveal Trailer Is Already the Most Disliked in Series History

If I could dislike that trailer more than once, I would. It's Ubisoft that I (and most others) hate as a company. Remember this is the company that said you should "get used to not owning their games", countless tales of employee abuse, charging $130 for 3 whole days of early access, saying Skull and Bones was a "AAAA" title that justified a $70 price tag, deleting The Crew from your library and god know what other stuff I'm forgetting.
If defending Ubisoft is the hill you're willing to die on, than good luck with that. I'll never buy their games again, never. But sure, go ahead and claim its racism. Whatever.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 529

Indika - what a weird game, I'm enjoying it. About an hour in, impressed with what I've played so far.
Diablo 4 - finally tried out a seasonal character, grinding Helltides but getting decent exp from them so it's good to play while I listen to music.
Athenian Rhapsody - looked insane so I picked it up and yup, it's insane all right. But funny, which i needed right now after serious games lately. Doing a pacifist run.

Re: Best God of War Games

There's no way the 2 latest games are better than the original trilogy. I'll take gameplay over family drama and handholding (literally and figuratively) any day of the week.
