Aliens: Dark Descent for #1. No option for WRC23 but I'll still rank it #2.

Yup, more WRC23 and Aliens: Dark Descent. Aliens is pretty tough at the beginning, but at least you can pause the game when giving orders, I think you couldn't when it first came out. Medium difficulty is no joke. The game only autosaves and that's usually after a major objective is completed or right before a tough fight. You can also weld the doors in some rooms to make a shelter where you can lower stress levels and that will save the game as well, also by just riding in the elevator to a different floor triggers the save too. I'm only on the 2nd mission after 9 hours. This game can really piss me off sometimes but I just can't stay mad and retry in an hour or so, lol.

That's a bummer, but good for them for delaying it instead of shipping a broken game. I really liked the first game, was surprising to play a Warhammer game that was actually great.

US store has been giving me errors for the last 90 minutes. Can't claim anything thru the app, the button that's either purchase or download is saying "Try again" for everything, even stuff I already own. Had to go thru the store on the console to claim, and that would give me an error the first time I try it, then work afterwards. Weird.

I'd definitely give it a shot if it hits ps+. Not sure if it was a game I'd buy on sale eventually but being on the service, that's appealing.

WRC23 and Dying Light 2. And some Elder Scrolls Online as well.

It's gonna be BG3, no doubt. It's made minor celebrities of the actors, like 97% on Metacritic, it even made it into South Park. BG3 is too big to not be game of the year.

It's really good. I didn't play much of the Dirt games, but I have over 35 hours in this so far. Tearing hasn't happened today, it was really noticeable before the patch when I raced in Greece. Just started season year 2.

Very happy with it, especially the loading times. Graphics have come so far its hard for me to notice improvements, mostly the smaller things stand out like water reflections, things like that. And the controller is amazing. Playing Wrc23 with one is like an arcade experience from back in the day.

It's definitely a "not for me" game. I used to like the huge epic games, but the Playstation mega budget games bore me. Especially when it seems they underestimate their player base with overexplaining every puzzle and basically telling you the solution. That sucks.

I could see if there was a new Tintin movie or show coming out this week, and not wanting to delay due to that. But as far as I know (which isn't much) there isn't. So yeah, this looks bad.

Preload is available, couldn't do it thru App, was able thru Library on console.

All you need to know is Kiyru has never killed anyone, ever. Even after shooting people multiple times, beating them with a brick or stabbing them with a knife, they are always fine. Always.

Thankfully I can tell the difference between video game and real life violence so this looks fun

@ShogunRok How big was the install on the PS5? The pc version is listed as 86 gigs but I realize that some of that is due to the demo for Infinite Wealth being included.

Robocop and Little Goodie Two Shoes, for goodness sake!
Really liking Robocop so far, I keep saying "Nuke" in a low voice every time I find some. It's a little rough, but nothing a patch can't fix. Playing in quality mode and getting some slowdown in cutscenes, not gameplay though.

I just checked on the US store and it's almost 7pm and it's still just listed as "wishlist". Maybe it'll unlock at midnight or something...

It's amazing they can release a game with so many progression bugs. Minor stuff is one thing, but not being able to complete the game is unacceptable.

Sounds good, I just don't have the hard drive space for it right now.

Wasn't gonna get this til next week but after all the reviews, I ended up "restructuring" my finances and got it today. Just finished installing and I'm going to check it out in around 4 hours. I can't wait!!

Hearing that this is incredible doesn't surprise me at all. I have complete faith in Remedy and anything they release. Guaranteed purchase once I get paid next week.

Well,over the week I got everyone to survive to the end of House of Ashes but then had someone die with like 10 minutes left. That was a bummer. In chapter 3 of Fate Samurai Remnant and drop 7 of Fatal Frame 5. Then some Star Rail as well.

@Tr3mm0r Nice, I played up to the part where the city is unlocked, so just thru the intro but definitely a quality game. Maybe all this SP2 hype will get to me and I'll pick it back up.

I still gotta play Miles before this one. Especially since I have access to it thru ps+. Just not enough time with so many good games!

I'm pretty excited for this, Terminator Resistance was decent and the previews look good. Always happy to support smaller devs.

I'll give Gotham a shot now that I'll have access to it. Roki looked good too. And I'll give House of Ashes a go, I heard it's the best of the Dark Pictures series. It's all good!

Bought Saturnalia and Amnesia: The Bunker on sale so I'll be playing those. Figured out why I kept getting disconnected from Honkai, it was my wifi extender. So some of that as well. Hockey season started so I'll be watching the Bruins tonight too!

I bet Playstation players "remain welcome". Its just means they're welcome to buy an Xbox or a gaming pc if they want to continue to play certain titles.

Man, these rogue berserker fights are not fun at all. Especially when he gets his shield back halfway thru the fight. Had 3 separate battles so far and not looking forward to more. Great game but once that book starts explaining things, it's time to put the controller down and eat a snack while he goes on and on.

Alien Isolation is worth playing if you haven't yet. It's long for a horror game but it's just so well done. Sound and environmental noises were top notch. When I got frustrated, I'd find some friendly survivors and bang my wrench against the wall a few times, then hide in a closet and watch the Alien tear some new holes. Also tossing a noisemaker at their feet and hiding while they wonder what's up. Oh, good stuff.

The last AC I actually finished was Origins. I played a lot of Odyssey and Valhalla but just got worn down after 40+ hours in each. I prefer a smaller, more personal story myself.

This looks really good. I'm always up for some giant robot action and this looks like it could deliver. The different modes have me interested too!

Fate Samurai Remnant (really good game) and struggling my way thru White Day on hard mode. Close to finishing up Star Ocean Divine Force, at 77% thru the main story but man, these back-to-back ship cutscenes are really boring, lol. I enjoyed it overall, couple minor complaints like not being able to open the map or scan for items when the party is chatting, which is all the time!

Pointless remake. I wonder if they'll remaster the 1st game a 3rd time just for the wasted effort.

Anytime someone loses their job is a terrible thing, but I doubt many (myself included) will morn the loss of the microtransactions guy.

@UltimateOtaku91 The developer making it is from the United Kingdom. Creative Assembly were the people who made the excellent Alien Isolation. Sega was just funding the project.

Hopefully Sony takes notice and does something about FairGame$.

It's Remedy and I feel they probably have some crazy stuff going on in this game, 30 fps is fine. It's gonna look incredible, I have no doubts about that.

I had to get the HFW bundle to get a ps5 last year, didn't like Aloy in the first game. I appreciate you constantly using that stupid picture of her, reminds me why I never installed the sequel.
