I believe the players who enjoy grand, sweeping narrative odysseys like mainline Final Fantasy games are not really the same target audience as those who enjoy bite-size battle royale games.
It's going to take years of expensive therapy to get over the fact that they remastered P3P instead of P3FES. Who made this decision? Sad gamer noises.
I'm not sure this is the attack on Christianity that you think it is. This game is based on books by Jacek Piekara, a very conservative and religious author who glamourises the idea of an Angry God. His political tweets should give you enough of an idea where he stands.
I was also hoping it would have the same atmosphere as part 1. I think Atlus is underestimating how popular the cassette-futurism style would be right now. Strange Journey Redux would have benefitted from a more VHS-like aesthetic as well.
But I'm still very much looking forward to playing this.
I know that P3P has a number of QOL improvements, but for me, 90% of the magic of Persona 3 was in the somewhat Lynchian cutscenes. As much as I love throwing my money at Atlus, I think I'll have to stick to emulating P3FES for now.
Even though it's a bit on the short side, and it's missing couch co-op, this is the best Tales game to come out in a decade. I wouldn't mind at all if an expanded version is released one day.
@UltimateOtaku91 the bits of story we've seen in the trailers don't appear to be connected to the first game. I did see some familiar technology, but I think it's safe to assume that this is a stand-alone story.
@CieloAzure I find souls games much easier than the Ninja Gaiden series. I think they have a reputation for being harder than they are, because we players like bragging about our mad skillz. But if you take advantage of the online play in souls games, they become much easier.
I think the difficulty in the game is meant to encourage cooperative play. Souls games are crazy punishing when playing solo, but the difficulty drops dramatically when you have a couple of real humans helping you out.
Edit: difficult games are also a lesson in emotional control and frustration management. Every failure is an opportunity to learn.

Re: Poll: Do You Care About 60fps on PS5?
Just give us Bloodborne in 60fps and everything will be fine.

I would actually prefer another chance to play Silmeria; that game was gorgeous!

Some of those scenes are from the first two installments; could this be a remake collection?

I haven't had this much fun since being psychologically abused by GLaDOS.

@Apfelschteiner suggesting that educators are "groomers" has absolutely nothing to do with a building sim.
