Crazy to me that some try and tell someone that their own personal GOTY is somehow 'wrong'. He's not picking what he thinks are objectively the best 5, he's picking his personal favourites. Contrary to the ideas of some gatekeepers, your own personal favourites can NEVER be wrong!

Crash Bash was one of my favourite games as a kid so if this can emulate that at all then I would be interested!

So they can announce a Cyberpunk sequel, new Witcher games AND a new IP, but no news regarding The Witcher 3 PS5 upgrade? I thought it was sure to release in 2022 but the end of the year is drawing ever closer.

I'm all for contrarian opinions but I just don't see the need for the obnoxious title, or the insistence of telling others they have it wrong. Sure, share why you didn't like the game so much personally, but the title just reeks of superiority (even if it is a joke).

Tennis World Tour 2 is such an atrocious abomination that I doubt it would be difficult to be better than that. I also didn't care for AO tennis 2, but this looks like another mediocre tennis game this generation. Why is it so hard to create a good tennis game on modern technology when developers used to make loads of great ones on much older hardware?

What a ridiculous statement. So because they completely half assed the GTA trilogy remaster, that means that potential GTA 4/Red Dead remasters wouldn't be well received? Maybe if you actually put some time and effort into them, then they wouldn't be well received. It's not the principle of a remaster that wasn't well received, it was the execution.

I do hope GTA 6 is worth the wait.

I really wish the original Sly Cooper trilogy could get a remaster. I'd even take a HD port. Not interesting in streaming games, surely there'd be enough market to actually make it available natively on PS4/PS5?

This isn't surprising, but still would've been a good way to compete with Microsoft by offering them forever (once added to library and assuming you maintain subscription), when Gamepass doesn't. Sony missed a trick there.

What is important then is that they are fully transparent about when games are expiring. One of the many irritating aspects about Netflix is that they often just remove films without any warning. Does anyone know where one can see when games are expiring in advance?

I would advise anyone who is excited about TWT2 to reign in their enthusiasm. It's quite honestly one of the worst games I've ever played, and I take no pleasure in saying that as a huge tennis fan. Gone are the glory days of Virtua Tennis and Top Spin unfortunately.

Fifa 21 is awful and every time I boot it up to give it another chance, I almost immediately regret it. Of course EA are going to talk a big talk about the next instalment (the first truly next gen one) but I'm dubious as to whether it will be any different.

I know it only released on Friday but really hoping for a discount on Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. Desperate to replay them but not sure how I feel about paying £60 for a remastered trilogy.

Personally wish Sony put more effort into adding games from PS3, PS2 and even PS1 era on PS now since they lack backwards compatibility.

@ShogunRok and nessisonett, I also have FIFA 21 on PS5 and think it does look good. Facial animations up close are probably superior indeed (although don't be get started on what they did to the likes of Mason Greenwood!). However, on the pitch, it often looks very shoddy - running animations are poor, and the hair in particular looks decidedly outdated. If any player has long hair, it really looks quite silly.

Pro Evo has better graphics than Fifa imo, so would dispute the claim it is easily the best looking football game.

Very generous review. The animations in this game are horrible and the movement and timing both completely off, not to mention several frustrating audio glitches. The PS4 version actually feels more polished than the PS5 version but neither version holds a candle to the days of Top Spin and Virtua Tennis. The wait for a good tennis game goes on...
