@Gamer83 Exactly my thoughts. It'll be intrresting to see what will be Sony's next move. As of me, I have not gotten a PS5 yet - not in a rush tbh- but if ever do, I'd still get it only to play the exclusives; everything else on PC with Gamepass.
As eSports become massive events, this is a smart move. Having the Playstation brand associated with competitive play could give them an edge with a certain audience.
Gamepass is becoming the main alternative for those who like playing games and not owning them. Paying $15 a month to access 100+ games and MS AAA first party titles day 1 is undeniable a HUGE value. And yeah, MS has deep pockets, even if it's not profitable, once it hits a certain amount of subs it will.
If Jim Ryan said that the Gamepass format is not profitable for them, then they need to rely now more than ever on their software exclusivity strategy. Hence why this MLB: The Show on Gamepass day one is such a big deal.
Time will tell, but I think once MS starts releasing their first party titles in Gamepass day 1 after all these studio acquisitions, and if they are decent games, people will think twice before buying a Sony $70 AAA title at launch.
Bloodborne was the reason I got a PS4 and was my first Platinum ever. Even after putting hundreds of hours on it, I still keep coming back to Yharnam for another hunting night from time to time.
A game that's equally rewarding as punishing, with an unique lore and setting, only deserves so much praise as one of the best games of past gen, if not the best to some.
I can still remember the feeling of real progression and improvement after beating each boss, especially father Gascoigne, and how unsettling some levels were.
It's heartwarming to see how much love this game still gets, even after all this time.
Thank you for posting this, commemorating this outstanding piece of art.
I'm having a great time right now playing Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Just like I imagined it when I played it back in the day in PSOne; hell, looks even better.
Awesome game, well polished with outstanding fighting mechanics. Although ever since I started playing Hades I couldn't get back to it, is no match for our Zagreus boy.
And makes sense they won't let the ps plus version to upgrade ps5, can't understand people complaining about not getting a ps5 upgrade of a ps plus AAA game that has less than 1 year old. But oh well.
Gotta be Bloodborne for me. Awesome combat, lore, bosses, environments, level design, OST. Great to see folks giving it some love, hell, what a great game!

Re: The Last of Us Is Getting a PS5 Remake Eight Years After Release, Claims Report
Completely unnecessary. I'd rather have a New IP or Days Gone 2. 100% not buying this.

Looks good, but not enough to make me want to buy the game. Might try it if it ever hits PS Plus.

Fantastic game, my GOTY.

Re: Interview: Returnal PS5 Developer Housemarque Talks Story, Replayability, and Value
Great interview, you can notice how much effort and passion they put in this project. I might get this eventually, when it drops to $20 - $40.
