Re: The Last of Us on PC Attracts 'Mostly Negative' Reviews for Crashes, Poor Performance

@Jaz007 The dualsense just like 99% of all hardware gaming products works on PC. I wouldn't be surprised if the PSVR2 works perfectly on PC by the end of the year.

Also, you must not be aware of what you can do with BOTW on PC. Change the ui to xbox or ps controllers, download cache data so there is literally no loading while playing, play at 4k and unlocked fps, improve the graphics and draw distance and more. You don't have to pirate anything. Just buy the game.

If you are tech savvy you should have the money and knowledge to make a PC infinitely more useful than any console.

@LordBakemono I guess that you are not aware of how during 90% of console generations gamers have been forced to either keep their old machines around or pay for upgrades/rerelases. Nintendo is especially cruel about this. On PC whatever you bought is yours forever and with mods it can look as good as any remaster, you again need multiple devices for work and gaming without a powerful PC which is far from ideal, 60hz/1440p may be enough for you only because you don't have experience with high end PCs, you don't miss on a ton of games actually because nowadays 99% of them are ported to pc/can be emulated and in the past you could have used PS now to stream last of us/Bloodborn etc, and again performance problems suck, but they are only a small part of the pc gaming experience. If you are tech savvy enough you will be able to fix a lot of problems or just wait for mods/patches.

There is no front on which PC gaming is losing besides pricing.

@LordBakemono Well you don't have access to some of those games, you don't have access to mods, you will be forced to purchase those games again in the future, you can't use the switch for working and you don't have access to high resolutions and framerates. These are only some of the downsides of not using a PC.

As for bad pc ports: Sony will only get better with time. Nixxes releases have been great afaik.

I get the complaints about current pricing and I do have a PS5, but PC gaming is great. If you are patient enough lol.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077's Working Metro System Rumour Shot Down as Fans Await the Big Update

GrimReaper

@nathanSF Wrong. 0 indication that they have improved. They still haven't added 90% of promised features into the game, they had to scrap 1 planned expansion and mp aspects and we are probably 5 years away from their next game. They probably announced so many projects because no one wanted to work for them after C2077 and their stock price plummeted.

CDPR are still licking their wounds.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077's Working Metro System Rumour Shot Down as Fans Await the Big Update

GrimReaper

@Ralizah Can you blame them? This project destroyed CDPR. Their reputation is in the garbage bin. They had to scrap their engine and you just know that no studio would like to waste 10 damn years on a singleplayer game. Unless you are making a GTA game you will not generate enough revenue to make up for the lack of releases.

And there is a serious chance that the bad pr and it being removed from the PS shop costed them potentially millions of copies sold during that crucial hype period when the disgraceful reviewers lied through their teeth and gave this game 8s and 9s.
